Dr. Lovette takes the time to be extra careful. I, like some people, loathe going to the dentist. I even teeter on the edge that I am afraid to go to the dentist. I often picture the bad guy from 'Little Shop of Horrors' when I think of a dentist. Not Dr. Lovette, he frequently stops what he is doing to make sure that you are fine and then proceeds. He knows all the little techniques to distract you so that you aren't thinking too much about whatever procedure he might be performing. A little perk if you do come here. Majority of parking is metered and they are strict with the meter reading. If by chance you forgot to bring quarters along with you they have them inside so you do not get a parking ticket. Dread morphed into fear of the unknown, novocaine overdose, callous attitude, surprise * pain and when will it ever end powerlessness. My modus operandi was -- avoid the dentist no matter what. It just so happened I had surgery to be scheduled -- not until I was cleared by my dentist! I began a search for a dentist's office that had empathy for patients like myself. I finally heard a kind, caring voice on the other end of that line after making several phone calls. Sometimes we have to go with that gut feeling. Everyone worked on my teeth with expertise and vigilance NOT to cause pain. I have never been to a dentist that educated me about taking care of my teeth and the best tools to use. I learned about the right way to floss, mouthwash to use, and I didn't need all my teeth pulled like I was told a week earlier by another dentist. He helped me discover the underlying reason why my daughter was having extreme teeth sensitivity to the point where drinking water was painful. At that time, she had a Pediatric Dentist and had a treatment done. When they could not figure out why she was having sensitivity, they sent us to her Orthodontist who gave us no answers, then to another dental specialist to have her wisdom teeth extracted at the age of 14. When that did not work, I decided to take her to my dentist, Dr. Voller, which I should have done in the first place! I knew I could trust that he would figure out the underlying problem. He listened to all of my concerns and ended up restoring the work of the previous dentist. He used a camera with a high-powered lens to take pictures of her teeth to show me exactly what was going on inside the molars where the previous dentist had sealed up decay and didn't even realize it! Dr. Voller removed the decay and used techniques such as ozone to kill all the bacteria inside the teeth then sealed it up perfectly! My daughter experienced no pain after that and we were so incredibly grateful to Dr. Voller!!!!! He even called me at home to check on my daughter after each tooth was restored. We gave him a big hug when it was all done because we were so thankful!!!! Fortunately, he found the problem and fixed it because the decay would have led to root canals on both sides of her mouth. I can't say enough about the depth of knowledge that Dr.Voller has and how he loves his job!
