The atmosphere is laidback and friendly - I can confidently say that I look forward to my dental cleanings. This past Spring, I began Invisalign orthodontic treatment with Dr. Batton. I've already seen significant improvements in my smile and my bite. I trust Smile Fort Worth and highly recommend Dr. Batton to friends and family. Excellent patient care!

When I realized it had been two years I figured I'd better get with the program. I checked my insurance for offices close to home and Dr. Batton's name came up. I could literally walk here if I wasn't a lazy bum, so decided to give them a shot. From the moment I spoke with Gena to schedule my first appointment I knew I'd love the place. She was extremely helpful, upbeat and genuinely nice. When I arrived she knew who I was before I said anything, so apparently she has ESP (or she's intelligent and aware enough to put two and two together). I waited just a few minutes before Christie, the dental hygienist called me back. On the phone I told Gena that I had spinal surgery 6 weeks ago and Christie was already aware of my history. She was concerned about my level of comfort and continued to inquire throughout the visit. Christie was very easy to get along with and did such a great job cleaning my teeth. I love the way they feel right now :) The dentist I saw was Dr. Wilkinson. When he came in we talked for a moment before he examined my teeth and I found him to be both professional and caring. Everything went so smoothly! I truly love this place and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

BEWARE! STAY AWAY! IN PAIN EVERY SINGLE DAY! If anyone is interested in a class action lawsuit, let…read moreme know. My name is Tracy and my email is lilly2874@yahoo.com. I KNOW I am not alone! My Nightmare with Aspen Dental - Please Read Before You Go! I went to this corporate dental clinic, trusting them with my care, and now I live in pain every day due to their negligence. Bridge Disaster The dentist prepped my tooth for a bridge, telling me they had to file below the margin due to gum loss. As a former dental assistant, I knew this was fine if the permanent bridge covered the tooth properly--but it didn't. I misunderstood that it would not cover the whole tooth. After placement, I checked in my car mirror and was horrified--the bridge left part of my tooth exposed, leaving me vulnerable to pain and infection. I went back immediately, but the dentist was in surgery, and I was told to wait a week. By the time the anesthesia wore off, the pain was unbearable, radiating from my ear down my neck with constant headaches. Eating, drinking, and even speaking sent shockwaves of pain through my tooth, ear, and jaw. I lost 15 pounds from being unable to eat properly. The clinic admitted their mistake but instead of fixing it, they told me to see a periodontist for what I suspect is a gum graft--something I cannot afford. If they had done it right the first time, this wouldn't be happening. Meanwhile, I still owe them over $1,000 for work that left me in agony. Root Canal Nightmare I had a root canal, post, and crown on an upper molar. 8 months later, I am still in pain. The endodontist repeatedly told me to "keep an eye on it"--charging me $145 per visit--until finally saying I may need an extraction. Absolutely not! The tooth has no decay and was fine before this procedure. I suspect they missed a hidden canal, but instead of fixing it, they want me to keep paying for useless follow-ups. My Mother's Horror Story My 71-year-old mother went for snap-in dentures, paying $25,000 cash. They botched the entire process, never took an initial impression, and had to redo multiple posts. Her temporary dentures never fit, and she was left without teeth for months. When she finally got the snap-ins, they were too big and painful. The dentist snapped at her and made her cry. She wants a refund, but they refuse. Fraud & Insurance Issues I was overcharged and denied a refund. They mishandled insurance claims, repeatedly sending incorrect codes, delaying my care for months. I had to do their job for them, calling insurance myself. Meanwhile, the staff ignored me, whispered about me, and treated me like a problem--even after THEY caused these issues! Unless you need a simple extraction, cleaning, or filling, DO NOT GO HERE. I have spoken to dozens of people with similar horror stories. I have made TikTok's, Facebook videos, and reviews to warn others and I will not stop until this corporation is held accountable. They stole from me, left me in pain, and took my mother's money while failing to deliver what she paid for. If you've had a similar experience, contact me. We deserve justice! There is more to the story, like how I had to file a grievance, reimbursement claim and appeal for money I over paid that they refuse to return, but I only have so many characters. Frustrating!

They collect full payment upfront which leaves you at their mercy. What they provide doesn't fit…read morecomfortably and painful to use. They are careless causing many return trips to correct teeth and partials. Poor workmanship at best. Avoid them.

My baby girl had to have a tooth pulled, and he made it as good as it gets for that. His staff is exceptionally nice, and we received two follow up phone calls checking on her.

He is a sham, a con-man. I went to him primarily because I have these large inflamed areas of…read moretissue (think skin tags) that I assume rests between the sides of my teeth. When they get incredibly inflamed, the pain is horrific. When I visited Dr. Cecere, he initially was nice and suggested that I may have Shogren's syndrome after looking at the skin tissue tags and wanted to take a piece of flesh out of my jaw (not the skin tag, mind you, but the side of where my jaw and upper chin meet) to confirm this through testing. I thought it was weird that he took tissue from that area but assumed he knew what he was doing since he's the doctor. On the day of the operation, my mom took me and the office said it would take no more than an hour for Cecere to be done. I came out of the office in worse shape than I went in - I had a huge gaping hole in the side of my interior cheek where he took the tissue and the pain was excruciating. Also, I continually vomited on the way home, which I have never done after any office procedure before. My mom was so angry and disturbed that she called his office repeatedly, who kept giving excuses about the vomiting and they this hadn't happened to any other patients. I vomited after leaving the office, to the pharmacy, in the car ride home, and finally, when I got home again. When I went back to Cecere's office, I asked him about how the Shogren's syndrome was affecting my the inflamed flesh in my mouth, and since I still have them, what was going to be done about it. I kid you not when I say Cecere laughed, told me I didn't have shoegren's syndrome, and very flippantly stated, "oh, those are just like nipples, there's nothing that can be done about them. Just take some Tylenol". My mouth dropped from his total lack of empathy, and moreso, his willingness to perform a surgery on me that was completely unnecessary. Why didn't he tell me this issue could be handled with tyneol at home rather than suggest it was disease that needed to be confirmed with taking a sample of tissue? Because he's an outdated, sham - simple, a trash person hiding behind his credentials. It was bad practice all the way around, and in my opinion, he shouldn't even be allowed to practice. I wouldn't even give him a 1 star rating. He is a terrible excuse for a human being, adheres to no ethics as a doctor, and doesn't need to be operating on people. And if you think my review is full of crap or question it, please look him on on the state website for oral surgeons and dentists - he has a former complaint from another patient where did something similar to this person and he was sanctioned for his actions. How he is business still, I don't even know. Please, please, please do NOT go to this con-man for any services. He doesn't care about your body or problems - he only cares about making money at the expense.l of your body.
