After checking me in, was told I needed to pay 225 up front due to not having met my deductible. I explained I only pay a co pay of 50 to see a specialist. She said no sir. I got my insurance on the phone and had them explain my coverage. A man who was listening comes out of the back and says we charge that in case we do a procedure. I said first it was because I didn't meet my deductible, now its for a procedure we haven't even discussed. Which is it? He says we'll we have to make sure you pay. What?!!!!! If I could give zero stars for this crappy service provider, I would. The front desk receptionist had the funkiest attitude I've ever had to deal with. I don't know where they find these people from but it certainly ain't thanks to any thorough interviewing. My problem started when I first booked an appointment Through there call Lynn number, which is a central reservation desk. The piece of crap the book the appointment didn't tell me the address of the location and the text message did not highlight the address of the location. Therefore, I turned up to location that was not even the one I was booked in for as an appointment. The heifer turned me around and sent me to the other location. There was no one waiting in the lobby and there was nothing stopping her just giving me an appointment at that location, even though it wasn't where my original appointment was at. When I arrived at the other location it was jampacked full of people and I was told it would be 45 minutes before I could be seen by anyone. I wasted 2 1/2 hours of my time going between two crappy locations with funky employees who were not interested in helping me out. I would steer clear from this Service provider with a very long barge pole. If you're foolish enough to go there good luck! To the ADM Your team at cordova are crap! I don't care if you speak to them the two ignorant to understand customer service. He will be not getting any more of my business so you will not receive any further feedback as Aspen dental took a great big shit on my time and my effort. There is 2 1/2 hours of my life. Dental assts Demari and the lady with the hot pink running shoes were really very good at what they are doing. Did not feel rushed in the appointment, and both of them were respectful and prompt. The lab technician Nelson Philips who does the dentures was also very efficient and really an expert in his line of work. He is amazing, courteous and was able to do what I ask, for comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. read more

This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had at the dentist. This place is ran like a fast food restaurant. Everyone in the practice seemed inexperienced- from the dentist to the assistants/hygienists. They were laughing and playing in the hallway with patients in ear shot. I also heard them complaining about the work multiple times in front of patients. Additionally, the wait is always ridiculous. The first time I went for X-rays and a cleaning I sat in the exam room for a good hour and a half before being seen by the doctor. And there was no communication during this time letting me know the wait would be long. And then the doctor comes in and says they can't even clean my teeth after waiting all that time. Went back to get a temporary crown. It cracked TWICE while I was waiting on the permanent one to be ready, causing me pain and discomfort. DO NOT VISIT ASPEN DENTAL!!!! I needed to have a permanent crown placed on my root canal that I had done earlier in December 2020. I had my first appointment at Aspen Dental for my crown on December 14th 2020 at 14:30, which I was fitted for a temporary crown and to have my permanent mold sent in to be made. As I had my temporary crown placed for the time being. I had asked the doctor if it would come off. He told me it shouldn't come off and should stay on until my permanent crown came in. On December 18th 2020 at 10:00, I was seen because my temporary crown had come off. I had to be seen 2 additional times after that, on December 23rd 2020 at 16:00 and again on December 29th 2020 at 13:30 because my temporary crown had come off once again. On January 6th 2021 at 13:30 I was supposed to have my permanent crown placed. The staff could not get my permanent crown to fit correctly. There I was fitted again for a crown and had a temporary crown placed. On January 11th 2021 at 11:30, I had been seen to have yet another temporary crown placed. While at this appointment I had asked to talk to someone in charge of the financial end to see if they could do anything about taking money off of my bill since I kept having a temporary crown put on and they told me from the start that it would stay in place until my permanent crown came in. I explained to them that I was having to take time out of my day and work just to come back to Aspen to have a crown placed on. Angela had said she would get back with me and see what she could do. On January 18th 2021, I called to let Aspen know my temporary had come off again and the receptionist told me I should be fine until January 21st 2021 when my permanent would be placed. On January 21st 2021 at 10:00 I had my permanent crown placed. Again, I had asked Angela if they could give me a discount or reimburse me with some money since I had been in here so many times to have a temporary crown placed on. She said, "According to her records I had only been there 3 time, December 14 2020, January 6th 2021, and January 21st 2021". I explained to her and showed her my calendar and all the appointments I had scheduled on my phone to go back to Aspen Dental to have a temporary crown put back on. I told her how her receptionist knows my name and situation because of how many times I had called over the same issue. She stated she would look into it and talk to her boss to see what they could do about the issue and that she would give me a call back by January 29th the latest. I am extremely upset with the fact that they are accusing me of only being at Aspen Dental for my crown 3 different times, when in fact you could look through their cameras, or phone records showing that I had called/made appointments for 6 different times. I even tried to call back and talk to Angela on January 29th2021 to see if she had heard anything about giving me a discount or reimbursing me. Instead, I was told she wasn't in the office and she would call me back. Which I never once received a call back. I filed a dispute with Aspen Dental through my credit card company and refuse to pay my remaining balance amount. Definitely will NEVER go back to ANY Aspen Dental and I tell EVERYONE my experience and to seek a Dental Clinic elsewhere. Hey, my name is Evgeny Palshin. I'm a first-generation American with two small children. For the past few weeks, I have had intense tooth pain. I booked an appointment with Aspen Dental. I come on time and they make me wait for over an hour. They let people who came after me go before me. The dentist did x-rays, but the dental hygienist told me I have a horrible infection in my teeth. She offered me to buy a special flashlight to check the "cancer" in my mouth. After another 20 minutes, the dentist told me I have a root canal. The treatment needed to be immediate and would be very expensive. I talked with the receptionists and manager, and the bill was extreme. The long list was very confusing for me. They wanted me to pay out-of-pocket $1,000. My insurance is meant to pay for cleaning, but they billed me under a "special cleaning". After seeking a second opinion from a more reputable dentist, I was told I do not need a root canal or fancy cleaning. He said I do not need to buy a flash light for my teeth. He was able to fix any issue with my teeth completely covered with my insurance. I do not recommend Aspen Dental, because I think they value profit over the client. I wonder if I were targeted due to my nationality and foreign name. read more

Well thought this would be an easy process for my husband and I. Not so much. Pros: convenient location $19 Consultatio & Exray Good Deep Cleaning Cons: They create packages and charge you for items you don't even want or need. Go through your bill and get explanation of each line item BEFORE proceeding. Example we were charged $135 for toothbrush we didn't need or discuss. We already use a Sonicare Diamond. Floride toothpaste- really in Memphis? Have they heard of all the flouride added to our water supply? We did not take toothbrush and were told it would be refunded. Guess what- after a week I had to go and it was never done. We spent $1488 for the deep cleaning and follow up visit, products not needed or a toothbrush taken. Oh about my visit- well it takes me 10 minutes to get to their location. I did not take into account that school started today and was stuck in two first day of school traffic jams. Shame on me for not knowing since my child is grown. Well that made me 18mins late for my 9:30 appointment. Their policy indicates I will now be placed on walkin list and there is no time frame for which I MAY be seen. I have no problem waiting for the person who was on time going ahead. Thats fair, but to say it may be another hour or two is crazy. I do have the option to reschedule, but after going through 3 degrees of drama with the front desk to get a "Request to Refund" for a product we don't have my perception of their abilities is at 0% read more

I recently did a review and I received a phone call from the new office manager. She apologized for everything that had happened and promise to make things right, even went as far to close her office door to tell me that the front desk employees will be replaced. She also promised to call me back on the following Monday, that never happened. Why would a potential patient be lied to so many times by different employees. I had no issues with the services provided. I had a 3.30 appointment that I was able to schedule online without issue (its 2021 - I should be able to do everything online), I was also able to fill out all the paperwork ahead of time. The front desk worker was very polite and professional. The gentleman that did my X-rays was also very professional and friendly. The dental hygienist was polite and explained what she saw on my X rays. The dentist came in and he was nice and friendly. The visit took about 1 hour 15 minutes, a very reasonable time for an initial evaluation. I then sat down with the office manager that broke down the suggested treatment -- I did ask her for a breakdown of prices and she gave it to me without issue, overall I had a great experience, the staff was great and I plan to establish my care there for general dentistry purposes. read more

Let, me first stated the staff member are extremely friendly and Professional. I am a humble person. barely complain about anything. The whole process was a rushing experience from the start. Myself and the dentist that was to perform the procedure sit down, and he stated to me what my dentist plan was, which I agreed. But, on the day of the procedure. one of the main thing that were to be included was not in my dentist plan. I was so disappointed and angry at myself, because I always take my time and find outstanding physician, not stated that this particular dentist is not. I just think it very unprofessional to reneging on your word. Now I have to wait until next year to start any procedures to correct the problem and I also stuck with an credit card bill for $3000, that I have to pay for no service. Long review ahead but overall: I would NOT suggest coming to this Aspen Dental!! When I went for a cleaning, 1) I had to wait more than an hour to be taken back, and I had many long waits in between getting X-rays taken and seeing the hygienist and doctor. There were SEVERAL red flags while I was at this location. Any time someone walked in the exam room where I was sitting, no one introduced themselves, so I was unaware for several minutes who was the doctor and who was the hygienist. After looking at my x-rays and walking out of the room several times and coming back, the doctor introduced herself. I was told I would need a deep cleaning. The doctor also told me I had several cavities and needed fillings, but did not say where they were in my mouth. At the end of my visit, I was quoted a super high price for all the procedures I needed. Because of this high price, I asked for a price breakdown of every procedure and what my insurance would cover. I decided to go somewhere else because I wanted to compare prices for what I needed. I WAS NOT given a paper detailing which procedure costs what, but instead I was just given a paper that had the total price of everything (just the number amount, nothing with what specific procedures were needed). This made it extremely difficult to tell other offices what I needed and why. I decided to go to a different office and the dentist there told me I, in fact, DID NOT need a deep cleaning. I also needed to request my x-rays from Aspen Dental to be sent over to the other office, and THEY SENT THE WRONG X-RAYS!!!! The staff at this location seems to be under-staffed (due to my long wait times) and they make mistakes because of this. Overall, like I said, I would not come to this location at all! RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM ASPEN DENTAL!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would.... I had a toothache and needed immediate relief. I was happy when they could see me the same day (3:00 p.m. appointment). I get called back, they do x-rays and place me in a room. All the rooms are open with absolutely no privacy. The Cordova location was very busy with people coming and going. Finally the dentist comes in asks me why I came in today...I tell him my tooth was hurting very bad. He briefly looks at my tooth says okay and leaves the room! I am sitting there like "WTF". So I sit there for another 30 minutes and the dentist comes back and to go over my x-rays...he tells me that I am going to need 18 crowns and three root canals or he can pull all my upper teeth and replace them with a denture and that the office manager will be in to go over financing options and just leaves the room!! I am freaking out and still in EXTREME PAIN!!! I ask someone going by the room if they are going to do something about my tooth and the dental assistant says " He called in an antibiotic and Tylenol 3 for you". The finance manager comes in and takes me to her office to discuss what the procedures will cost..Option#1 the 18 crowns and root canals it will be $10,000+ AFTER INSURANCE and option #2 pull all my upper teeth and have a denture made it will be $7.600+ AFTER INSURANCE. I am literally in shock, pain and made to feel like this what I needed to do. So I go with option #2 $7,600. We make appointments for the following Wednesday and I give them $2,000 down to get started. Luckily, I go home and my husband tells me all that is ridiculous and to get a 2nd opinion because it is just crazy. I go to a reputable dentist for my 2nd opinion with X-rays in hand and the 2nd dentist tells me I need two root canals and only ONE CROWN!!! He put a temporary filling in the tooth that was hurting so bad and all my upper teeth that were so bad can be fixed with fillings and DO NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED!! ASPEN DENTAL WAS GOING TO PULL MY PERFECTLY HEALTHY UPPER TEETH TO TURN A PROFIT!!!! My next battle is getting my $2,000 back for no services provided....Stay tuned. read more

BAD EXPERIENCE!!! I went to Aspen Dental today for an a simple teeth cleaning and was there for over 2 hours!! Due to COVID-19 they had told me to call when I was in the parking lot to check in, so I did just that when I arrived. I called 5 times and nobody ever answered the phone, I even left a message. Nobody ever called me back. So 30 minutes later I went in and nobody acted like it was wrong- apparently that was what you had to do, even though they told me AND it was on the door to call first. I then had to wait in the lobby for almost an hour before I was taken back. I had xrays (which I didn't ask for, I just scheduled a cleaning). They sat me in a room where I had to wait for the hygienist, then wait more for the dentist. Then they sat me down in another room to wait to talk with the manager, when she eventually came to get me we went into her office and she told me it was going to be almost $300 for a cleaning and to have 1 filling replaced. If they were only going to charge me for the cleaning that I came in for, it would only be $10!!! I was very aggravated at this point so I told the lady I only wanted the cleaning and I was not paying for all the other stuff. She then told me that I would have to make ANOTHER appointment for the cleaning!! So I was there for over 2 hours, paid my $10 copay, and never got a teeth cleaning. RIDICULOUS!! I will never go back, and I suggest that nobody else goes unless you want to waste time and be overcharged. read more

DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL!!!! They need to be shut down for bad service, rude employees, and most of all over charging customers. They will base everything on what your insurance pays. There should be a standard fee for everyone, regardless of whether you have insurance or not. They charge you an arm and a leg for tiny denture teeth. Everybody doesn't want thin, small, fragile teeth. My husband had dentures made at Aspen. He is a little bigger than the average man. The teeth that they made for him looked they were designed for a petite woman or a teenager. They were "baby" teeth and the gums were a bright pink. When he got them home we both looked at them and burst into laughter. What human being has bright pink gums? He demanded that they make him another pair, but with teeth that fit his mouth and size, and more natural looking gums. This place is absolutely a rip off. They bait you in with the $19 X-ray and evaluation, then they try to rob you. Most of the employees are inept and the female dentist is very lackadaisical. She acts like she doesn't give a hoot about her job or her patients. I wish I could give this place a goose egg.!! Yelp should change the ratings to begin at zero stars. The lady that handles the finances is the only person that I could give a decent rating to. She is wonderful and she would get 5 stars. She's warm, soft spoken, and very efficient. I hate Aspen Dental so much that when I drive past it on Germantown pkwy, I can't look it. Just as quickly as they set up shop, they should pack up and leave. Would not recommend this dentist AT ALL. We just moved out here, so I'm not familiar with the local dentists. Saw their ad for $20 exam & x-rays, & my husband needed to see one ASAP due to extreme jaw pain. He went in Wednesday afternoon & they said he needed $6k worth of work, scheduled him for an appointment next week, & said they'd call in antibiotics for him. Waited until a couple hours after his appointment & went to Walgreens for his antibiotics, no record in their system. By this time the dentist's office was closed, so we waited until the next day to check the pharmacy again. Long story short, we called & checked on his preacription at Walgreens 3 times throughout the day, then had to call the dentist 3 times to see what the holldup was. "Oh, sorry, we only have 1 doctor in, we'll take care of this right away." Well if they can't even do something as simple as calling in antibiotics, I don't trust them to work on my husband's teeth. Only problem is that they charged us $350 for an appt he has next week (which is kinda weird), so NOW we have to fight for our refund. And I have to find a new dentist ASAP. This has been my worst experience at a dental office. Went in they did x-rays and nothing else total time 2hr:44 min. Just wanted a general cleaning. Upon arrival for a general cleaning, (my previous dental office was going under renovation \ retirement and becoming part of another group) I presented my pre filled out dental paperwork. It was time for my 6 month cleaning. Waited in the lobby for about 15 min. after going to the back taking dental x-rays and sitting in the chair the hygenist comes in. She doesn't clean my teeth but talks to me and then does a gum line test. I am familiar with the process and I think she is going to do a usual cleaning as she said I may want to come in again for them to clean under my gum line. SHE DID NOT do a general cleaning and proceeds to walk out the dentist comes in and says she will come back and do the cleaning. The hygenist comes back and tells me to go to the a different waiting room for the billing specialist. I go to the waiting room. I dream of Jennie is just starting, then Bewitched come on and goes off on Me tv an I am still waiting. The specialist comes and tells me that I have good insurance and that I will have to pay 2000+ for a general cleaning, X-rays and deep gum cleaning. The treatments and payment could be broken up as I could have the dental cleaning done today. I have never had to pay for a cleaning and as of this year or any other time and although health care has changed it has not changed that much in 6 months. I never had to pay, that much even when I had a root canal. I Do Not recommend this place. read more

I started coming to Aspen Dental about a year ago when it first opened. After not having dental work for years I was very excited about my initial visit because the staff was nice, the facility was clean and the people who helped my very first visit were exceptional, however now that I have been coming for periodontal maintenance, I have not seen the original people who helped me and convinced me to get the service. The hygienist who now cleans my teeth was not aware of what I had gotten done previously. I also called about my periodontal maintenance and received three different explanations on how my cleanings are supposed to be scheduled. NOW my issue is that every time I come, there are underhanded "FEES" and "BALANCES" that I was not made aware of. I asked to talk to a financial advisor and the front desk woman seemed irritated. I also wrote that I changed my insurance on the sign in and they tried to say that I had to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket for a service because they no longer accepted my insurance, yet they did not pay attention to the fact that I said my insurance changed. I keep receiving these bills in the mail even after paying my patient portion IN THE OFFICE. This office now just seems money hungry and clearly does not explain EVERYTHING about the services you sign up for to fix your own oral health. I have to say I am disappointed and will be seeking a new office. read more
