They made me wait in a dental chair for 2 hours waiting for insurance approval then told me they didn't have time to clean my teeth when they are in network with my insurance. I came back the next day and paid the bill before the cleaning and they later billed me the full $167 I already paid with a credit card. Apparently they refused to bill my insurance even though they take my insurance! A year and a half later I get a bill for $42.10 saying my insurance only paid $124.90. Well they owe me this refund of $124.90 because I paid the entire bill in advance. Well I've never got the refund and they are going to send me to collections for the balance of $42.10 they say I owe despite paying the entire $167 before they would clean my teeth! Please don't go here if you're considering dentures! As a new patient needing first time dentures choosing Aspen in Claremore was a horrible decision! It's been 10 months of aggravation and tears. Same dentist owns Owasso and Broken Arrow. I tried them all! The office manager in Owasso said I owed $2000 when I didn't! Wouldn't let me see the dentist. Walked out in tears. Tried to resolve with Claremore but office mgr. would not talk to me. After complaining to higher ups I got an appointment with the dentist who owns all of them. On my first visit he actually said to me "Those are really big front teeth?" He was referring to my denture that HIS office made! Haven't smiled much since! I paid in full including the comfie fit so I was stuck. I bided my time and waited 6 months. I started in Jan and by mid-Feb I'd had 4 visits for my "permanent" set of teeth. No communication about the process. First one they choose pure white teeth?? I'm in my 50's... really? Went for 2nd try in. Teeth were worse!!! Bottom teeth stuck out like a bulldog! After 25 minutes in a freezing room (hair all over the floor) for a dentist to see me while wearing the horrible wax things I handed them to the assistant and walked out! I went to a reputable dentist to discuss my options. PLEASE Be Aware... Aspen calls them "temporary" teeth but files as "permanent" on your insurance. Most companies, if not all, will only allow a new set every 7 years! It's costing me $1800 out of my pocket to get teeth I can use!!! read more
