The wait time was not very long - also, they have nice pens that you can keep.The office is tastefully decorated and the receptionists are professional. For those of you who still have all their teeth, the implant process takes months. You have to do the extraction, bone graft, implant and then the crown is the final piece. I already had the extraction and bone graft so just needed the implant piece. My mouth won't set off metal detectors but it is strange to think there is a screw in there. I would come in periodically to see if things were progressing nicely enough to finally get the crown. Their equipment is state of the art and should I ever need another dental implant (here's to healthy teeth!) I would not hesitate to come back here.

Before anything even happened, I was charged $300 -- $135 for X-rays (fine) and a $165 "referral consultation fee." $165 just to find out whether I even want to work with this oral surgeon? As a business owner myself, I would never charge someone simply for asking questions about my products or services. I paid it anyway, thinking maybe the service would justify it. Instead, I sat in a packed waiting room for over an hour with zero communication, no X-rays, no update, nothing. Every seat was full, and people ahead of me looked just as frustrated. I was literally falling asleep waiting. Charging upfront and then leaving patients sitting indefinitely is not how you run a professional practice. I ended up canceling the appointment and requesting a refund, which the front desk processed. I left and won't be returning.

    I had one of the most stressful and upsetting medical experiences of my life at this dental office,…read moreand I feel obligated to warn others. From the beginning, I was quoted one price for my exam and procedure, only to later be charged more due to an "error" on their part. That error somehow became my responsibility to pay. I was already in severe pain and felt completely trapped--waiting another week to find a different provider was not realistic. I made it clear that I did not want to be put under sedation. During the exam, the doctor probed a severely painful tooth with no Novocaine and pushed all the way into the root pocket. The pain was extreme and unnecessary. Because I reacted to that pain, I was then told the procedure would not be done unless I agreed to sedation. This was frustrating, especially since I've had far worse and more abscessed teeth treated in the past without sedation. After a full week of agony, I felt I had no real choice and agreed to sedation simply to get the tooth removed. What happened next was terrifying. After I was sedated, I was later told directly by the dentist herself that I had "overdosed on fentanyl." I was told Narcan had to be administered because I stopped breathing, and an ambulance was called to ensure I was okay. I had previously disclosed that I have sleep apnea, which increases the risks associated with sedation and should have been handled with extreme caution. Even after the procedure was completed, I was required to remain in the office for what felt like at least half an hour because they were unable to get my blood oxygen levels back to a safe or reasonable range, and my oxygen saturation was floating dangerously low. Despite this serious medical incident, I was then charged to be sedated a second time in order to complete the procedure. When I later attempted to discuss the overcharge and the overall situation with the office, one of my calls was abruptly ended. When I called back and spoke with Nora in billing, I was met with defensiveness, blame, and a complete lack of empathy. I tried to calmly explain my frustration with being overcharged for an incident caused by their own error, but the conversation was repeatedly turned around on me. I was told it was my fault and even told that I had not overdosed--despite that being a direct statement made to me earlier that day by the dentist herself. There was no attempt to work with me on the bill or acknowledge the seriousness of what I had gone through. Because of this office: I was overcharged I was subjected to unnecessary pain I was sedated against my initial wishes I stopped breathing and required Narcan I was charged again And I was treated dismissively afterward At no point did anyone attempt to acknowledge the seriousness of what happened or work with me on the billing. This experience reflects poor medical judgment, unsafe sedation practices, unethical billing behavior, and a complete lack of empathy. I strongly urge anyone--especially those with sleep apnea or concerns about sedation--to seek care elsewhere. No patient should stop breathing, be revived with Narcan, blamed for it, and then billed extra.

I called BCBS for a list of oral surgeons in Roseville and this place is clearly the best reviewed. After being referred by the dentist in Union City I spoke to Kim at length and she explained the process and answered all my questions. I am really pleased with her service for a potential patient. We set an appointment for 31 July and though dentists are shy of people's wish list I'm looking forward to a professional likely pulling a tooth and starting an implant procedure. I'll update this as time goes on. The consult went well 31 July with scans, timeline and cost (be prepared even with insurance) explanations and prescriptions sent in. Veronica was clear with her instructions for the scans. Dr. Kuo and numerous staff members I've lost count of did all they could to make things clear. So the day after my consult I'm here for the extraction and implant. I'll update again after the procedure. So the extraction, grafting and implant went very well and my nervousness decreased substantially after the locals and because of the staff. Dr. Kuo has talent. From engineering and woodworking I'm a good judge of precision and this implant is as centered as a precision machine could do. It's looks like art.

I came in for a routine exam and cleaning and was told -- based on 6-month-old x-rays, that I now needed two crowns, possibly even a root canal, and a deep cleaning. What was frustrating is that at my previous appointment no dentist mentioned any of these issues or recommended treatment. Had I been properly informed at that time, I could have started treatment sooner and used last year's dental benefits instead of being faced with a large out-of-pocket estimate all at once and now needing a root canal. After spending about an hour and a half at the appointment, I left with an estimate of roughly $4,200 out of pocket and very little clarity about why this information wasn't communicated earlier. When I expressed my concerns, the response was dismissive. I looked at the paperwork I was given after the appointment and it showed that my insurance was billed for services -- including a cleaning, X-rays, and dental photos -- that were not done during that visit. I plan to follow up directly with my insurance provider to report this. This was so disappointing and I don't want this fraud and malpractice to happen to anyone else.

I love that they send a text message and/or call to remind you about your appt. The dental assistants, hygenists and doctors take the time to walk you thru your dental care as well as answer any concerns or questions you might have. They use modern dental technology. Absolutely "wonderful" I cannot speak higher volumes about him and his staff! -- On 12/12/2025 I went in for last minute two lower teeth removals and bone grafts! I am a 48 year old old male and I hate dentist and even worse, I strained my jaw muscles and mentally I was scared completely drained and completely freaked out worried I was gonna restrain the muscles! Dude this dentist was gentle, very kind and highly sympathetic and went up and beyond to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible, and the amount of relief that he gave me at the end of the process I couldn't thank him enough!! This dentist is truly amazing!! --- I always take a long time to leave a review. Give it a lengthy process of about seven weeks. Despite the above praise, there are critical issues with this office that have unfortunately expanded since Jamey retired - my issues revolve around solely the front office staff as well as the designation of this office as a Delta Dental Premier Provider, despite the customer service, scheduling, and billing practices being akin to a less-than-basic Medi-Cal Dental office. Beginning with the front office staff when Jamey was managing the operations. Jamey was bubbly, considerate, truly caring - did everything she could to make patients feel heard, comfortable, and made sure to never offend - I mean, the prices here are much higher, so this is the expectation at their price point. After Jamey retired, Tammy (the claims/billing specialist) unfortunately resumed communications with customers. Tammy is an anxious, rude, and unkind person who has no business working with the public- she used to work from home/behind the glass door, but now she is working with patients full-time, much to the detriment of this business, in my experience. Here is an example: After having a front tooth broken during a boxing hard sparring match, Colleen kindly explained that due to how the tooth had broken off, a post was not possible. She then called in Tammy to explain the metrics. While between jobs (I had told the hygenist - no one else, which is strange these two knew about it, indicating they placed these notes in the system... CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY TO THEM!!), I was concerned about the price (I still had the same insurance so that wasn't a problem), something was not explained to me, and I expressed what was not conveyed to me, to Tammy and Colleen. Tammy then had an outburst and retorted "WELL YOU DIDN'T TELL US YOU WERE LOSING YOUR JOB!" It was extremely unprofessional and categorically incorrect - I had the same insurance (you know, COBRA...?) so it was also irrelevant. It made me feel terrible and I really didn't need her in there. I've never witnessed such an outburst in a dental setting and would never expect this from a premier provider dental office. Despite Tammy no longer being needed in the room, she remained. I looked over to Colleen and spoke/looked only to her for the remainder of my visit - being unaware of her own irrational behavior and how it impacts others, I'm not surprised Tammy remained in the room, despite her not even saying anything, just standing around. It was so gross. Example 2: After receiving my long-awaited implants for back teeth missing for quite some time (over a decade) I was under the assumption that I could utilize a payment plan as I had in the past (since it was part of my original treatment plan). I was so happy to have my teeth restored, they looked amazing, they felt amazing, I was absolutely elated and pleased with the work. This was one of my last visits at this office - I already knew Tammy was unsavory and mentally prepared myself. I was clearly in a good mood. Tammy was there to discuss the cost with me regarding the implants after insurance pays (just under 2k) I said "...I was hoping to get on a payment plan for the implants like I was before." And Tammy's face lit up into a smile "Absolutely not!" she grimaced, "We are not offering payment plans at this time!" I asked her why not, as I had utilized this in the past and she advised "Since the implants were not in your original treatment plan, we will not be providing a payment plan." The implants ABSOLUTELY were part of my treatment plan - the teeth were missing for YEARS. This was very disheartening, especially since she was so giddy to tell me the bad news. She then said "it was up to the "book keeper." I asked to speak to the book keeper, and she said "they work off-site, I don't know the next time they will be in the office!" I asked to receive a call from the book keeper and she said she would give them my number. Tammy could have said "Let me check with Dr. Winger and get back to you," But never did until after being difficult, and never advised she would talk to him. It's quite clear she is unfit to be working with the public. After, I received an email from Tammy, she knew she irritated me - that was likely her plan. They offered me a payment plan. Kayleigh is being trained by Tammy, so she is learning poor habits. Additionally, they have zero timely openings- I scheduled a cleaning at their EARLIEST APPOINTMENT in October... they scheduled me for March LMAO. It's like a bad joke it is so terrible. The cleaning is the same as it is everywhere else, except since they are a Premier Provider, they leave you with a MUCH larger copay!! I recommend avoiding this place, as I asked to be placed on a list for cancelations, and have heard absolutely NOTHING.
