The food menu is good with reasonable choice and reasonable prices. Last month when I ate there it was 2 meals for £7.you cant go wrong at those prices food was hot and fresh the only downside is they are never fast and I have waited an hour for food before, although at the time of ordering the bar staff did point out long delays not ideal for children although they are allowed when eating before cut off time (8pm I think)

I have eaten here and the menu is very good, varied and well priced and the food itself was of a good standard, definitely worth a visit whether it`s with the family or just a bite to eat with a friend. Once you've found it and got inside, you might be lucky and get a seat. It is fairly small but has a friendly feel to it. The pub always has one or two special beers on offer which makes every visit a bit different. The food offered is quite limited but is all made to order in the kitchen just by the side of the bar - you can peep in and see your food being prepared. Staff are friendly and the manager is usually about for a chat - he is very passionate about his business and has won awards from Everards for his pub. There is also a large skittle alley in a separate building out the back in the car park, and this is quite handy if you want to hold a club/work type event.
