Soon I will buy an apartment of my own and I will be glad to have Conor to guide me through that process. But would it be. In fact it was a better deal than we had expected. Four minutes walk to Sagrada Familia and numerous good, reasonably priced, restaurants and bars. Transport also within five minutes. Secure entrance past a reception which was always manned by very helpful guys. On out first night the poor guy was in panic for me when we didn't have a corkscrew in the kitchen. He was great and found me one within minutes. I think he realised that you couldn't visit Spain without wine. Lift up to the apartment, in our case the third floor. Nice large lounge with TV (never used by us) with plenty of seating and telephone. Two bedrooms for four people, one with safe. Both with plenty of storage space. Bathroom with everything you could need. Girls said that the hair dryer worked better than any they had used in other establishment. Toiletries. Shower in the bath. Fully fitted kitchen with all appliances, including dishwasher. OK, missing a corkscrew but that was amended immediately. Balcony. If you are lucky at the front, with a view of the Sagrada Familia, but with the road noise (not too bad at night). A great apartment complex for a reasonable price.

There was a narrow balcony, not possible to sit on but you can stand on it and enjoy the view to La Pedrera (Gaudi). Air condition in both beedrooms and in the living room. The only complaint we had was the noicy construction site just outside the apartment. Because of that, and heavy traffic, you don't want to keep the balcony doors open. The hostess was nice and all the details about the booking worked out perfect. Very good location of the apartment! Not far from the station Passeig Gracia. You can easily go by train from El Prat airport.

So many things were broken when I moved in, and then they tried to charge me for the things that were already broken that I told them about. The same thing happened when I moved out. And you have to spend hours upon hours upon hours to finally get to someone who can make a decision then tells you "Sorry! you have to pay us!". They are completely unresponsive, so if anything goes wrong or the "accidentally disconnect your access", good luck getting back in! AVOID AT ALL COST.

However, it turned out that the apartment had severe issues with humidity, which resulted in mold appearing everywhere, even damaging my clothes and luggage. Initially, the customer support team accused me of not ventilating enough, but later they acknowledged that the apartment had significant issues and was uninhabitable due to health concerns. They agreed to provide me with another apartment, which was significantly smaller than the previous one and did not cover any cost related to the damage they made to my goods. After two weeks, the entrance door literally fell off the hinges, leaving us unable to leave the apartment for several days. This made us wonder whether all of their apartments had issues. After I left, they messaged me, ten days later, saying there was damage in the apartment, and sent me some images without explaining the issues. After I asked for justification, the support team said they had decided to deduct it from the deposit. They provided NO INVOICE or DETAILS on what was broken or how much it would cost to fix it. THEY JUST KEPT ALL THE DEPOSIT. The support team has since been ignoring my emails days, without offering any proper explanation

Enough for 3 people n luggage. Older apartments only fit 1 person n luggage. This is typical of buildings in las ramblas area but the convenience is worth it. Staff so friendly. Even helped me print my ship luggage tags. About $15 euro for taxi to ncl epic. $39 euro from ship to bcn airport.

In the first place, we ran into SO many issues with our one-month rental on La Rambla (the flat was smelled terrible, had weak wifi, came completely empty of basic amenities, had enough hot water for 5 minute showers etc). The disappointing state of the flat is one thing, but the treatment by the manager of EasyFlatBCN is a whole other ballgame. They became very aggressive as soon as we raised our concerns, addressed them very late, and then 3 weeks into our stay suddenly threatened us with eviction as we had no contract (they never offered us a contract from day one, which we would have actually gladly taken in order to protect OURSELVES from their treatment which was beyond a matter of professional or not, but legally questionable). The manager lady literally tried to break into the apartment while I was there to intimidate us, and she even went as far as cutting the water and taking my key! We were like hostages in our rental flat, which we paid a lot for. It was an absolutely surreal situation, and I resorted to filming and recording it for evidence later. We were completely mortified by the rudeness, total irrationality, dishonesty and violence of our encounter with EasyFlatBCN. Overall: How Not To Run a Company is how EasyFlatBCN treats people and it's a huge risk.
