Ask restaurants dont really differ too much on the whole from branch to branch. The only real area they show a noticable difference in is usually service. Of the branches 've visited over the last few years, this is one of the better ones.
Its also one of the more compact venues, so the two are probably linked as it never really gets TOO busy, unlike some others I've been in.
The food here is usually fresh and tastes fine, although sometimes the pasta can be overcooked and the pizzas a little burnt, but its nothing which really spoils your enjoyment. Theres plenty of choice on the menu starters, main courses, and a dessert menu, which is the only overpriced element to the place. The drinks menu is pretty extensive too - with a decent wine list, and an occasional specials menu which offers something a little different from time to time.
As mentioned, service here is unhurried and friendly, and the atmosphere - particularly at night when they put the candles out - is cosy.
