I had chicken bones instead of meat in the basket. They prepared this interesting dish with some onions and some peppers. Of course I complained. They made 20 percent discount my bill. It was my first complain for chinese food all my life. If this meal is always served like that, I don't think anyone will like it. Because nobody wants to eat bone or lick the bones. There were big noise coming from 2 private rooms which full of bustling Chinese men group. They made big noise and disturb all customers. The waiters warned them but they continued to make noise. I had hot and sour soup (very good), and my friend went with the Chinese mushroom soup. Both of us were happy with it. The meal was good too - offering you a large portion of food for the price. It also allows you to sample a variety of dishes (duck, sweet and sour chicken, and pork with vegetables) and comes with egg rolls. The egg rolls weren't my favorite, but they weren't bad. I really like the atmosphere here, its calm and relaxed. On a Wednesday night we were the only patrons there. They have a small cloak room with some children's toys as well to keep children occupied. And the bathrooms are fabulous in that they make you feel like your'e in some ancient Chinese castle! Our server was pleasant, personable, and my friend says she is always this way. My friend's been here on a number of occasions and the server is always the same. Consistency is good! And the service was FAST. We didn't wait long for anything - ordering, soup, meal, the check. I've just spent 6 whole days teaching English to Polish participants in a remote countryside being given free accommodation and food. Polish is good but hearty but just rich often with a lot of meat. After six days of eating this stuff, and with 3 full square meals a day, I'm ready to go on a 60 day fasting period. Luckily I didn't have to because I happened upon this restaurant. For what it's worth here in Europe, the Pho is good. Nothing spectacular like I would have in Little Saigon, aka., South Sacramento or sometimes San Jose, but definitely hits the spot.
