Enjoyed a nice dinner of ginger chicken with brown rice. Very good. Could not eat it all after having the hot and sour soup and sushi/spring roll apps. too! Yummy! The service was polite and very attentive to our needs. My place to go for Asian food. read more

Good food, nice people. Waitstaff was quiet but attentive. Wait time for food was reasonable. We got the Kung Pao chicken and the Mock Eel and both had beautiful presentation and were tasty. We will come back again. read more

The sushi here is pretty good. Waitstaff tends to be reclusive but are always polite.

Ordered food two hours early to pick up for family party. Got there twenty minutes late and still had to wait 1/2 hour for food. Have not even tasted a thing and I am done. You can not survive with this terrible customer service. No host/hostess. Ten people editing over 15 minutes on a Wed night. Restaurant was more than 1/2 empty no one spoke English even enough to address my issues. Food better be to die for. read more

We stopped here in Burlington on a Presidents Day weekend trip to northern New England. Despite it being a busy Valentines Evening we were pleasantly surprised at the fast and courteous service. The Sushi appetizer and Chinese main courses were of exceptional quality. We will definitely eat here again ! read more

This was the first meal I have ever sent back, let alone complained to wait staff about, in my life. We went around lunch time on a Friday - the place was empty which should have tipped us off but we thought it may just be early. We had the philly roll as an appetizer - sushi rice absolutely horrible, very dry and crumbly. It was hard to even swallow the roll - though the tuna was good. I ordered a Pad Thai special which came with a miso soup and spring roll/wonton appetizer. The wontons were decent, miso soup was clearly of the "just add water" variety but not too bad. Then our meals came... My Pad Thai was a small plate of undercooked lo-mein noodles slathered in a VERY watery, bright red sauce. The chicken "bits" were the cheap, grisley kind that comes with cheap chinese food. There were no scallions, no flavor, just lo-mein noodles, red water sauce and mystery chicken. To avoid confrontation I probably would not have mentioned it, but our entire table's meals were just as bad. My friend ordered the shrimp/chicken combo lo-mein - the shrimp were still frozen! When we explained the situation the manager offered to take our "meal" off the check and ended up still charging for the appetizers that came with the special. We walked away paying for the full price of the appetizer.. each getting about 2-3 dollars off the bill. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

Absolutely terrible. The man working there said they have been open for 10 years. 10 years of abysmal food. Congrats.

Place is going downhill. Two years ago portions were huge and staff was friendly. Now your rushed in, rushed out and food is mediocre and just okay. Inexpensive but not really worth it. read more

Quiet fine dining ambience. Excellent food at reasonable price. Will return again.

The food bas fantastic! Was a little concerned about the negative reviews but gave it a try due to them being apart of Delta skymiles dinning rewards program. Was very happy we gave them a chance. Food was the best we have had in the area. Sushi was fresh, rolls were done perfectly and everything was served quickly amd with a smile. Service was great and didn't have to wait very long to be seated. read more

An overall good place. Food is very good. Service is not the greatest during peak hours, so patience and time availability is recommended.

I honestly love this place! There were other Chinese restaurants around this place but I think this place is the best. I love the sushi here and the staff is constantly helpful and nice! Personally I think that for the value the food is great! read more

Long time lover of Asian food and have been here before but not reviewed previously. Dinner for 2 early evening on a Sunday. Started with scallion pancakes. In most places this is loaded with scallions held together by a dough or eggy mix. These were a bread shoe leather deep fried with a few flecks of scallion in them. We had 2 entrees. Both were buried in a nondescript, gooey brown sauce with minimal flavor. The vegetables in them were parboiled to death and had very little flavor or texture. Just cannot get too excited about any aspect of the meal. read more

This isn't "fine dining," but decent American-Asian style food. The menu choices are vast and varied, so they tend to do many Asian styles decently rather than any particular style excellently. Appetizers may be their strong point. After several visits, my experience is that the spice intensity tends to vary depending on who's cooking, so they need to work on their recipe consistency. Nevertheless, it makes for a fun family meal, if a little on the pricey side, and a convenient stop before heading to the movie theater. Had to update that on a subsequent visit, we had a less positive experience with a server who completely forgot to enter the order for my meal, so I better understand the negative reviews. Not only did my companions all finish their dinners before mine arrived, her mistake was never acknolwedged with an apololgy or offer for free drinks...nothing. It's the only time I've ever left no tip. read more

My dining companion ordered an interesting-sounding appetizer that came out showcasing a tiny blob of fried lobster & mayonnaise on top of a heap of seaweed salad & iceberg lettuce. The promised squid pieces in the mix were few & far between & the entire concoction was squirted haphazardly with hoisin & spicy mayonnaise. The waitress, though friendly, forgot my egg roll, but when it finally came, it was crispy, delicious, & promising. I ordered "Dragon & Phoenix," a $17 special that boasted 2 portions - a spicy seafood ensemble & chicken & snow peas in wine sauce. My hopes were immediately dashed upon tasting the food. "Dragon" was a few shrimp & tough pieces of overcooked, previously frozen lobster slathered in what tasted like a mixture of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, & a LOT of sugar. The "Phoenix" wasn't much better, in a sauce that tasted more heavily of salt than wine. Even a perennial favorite, the Seafood Pot (ordered extra spicy), may as well have been a school cafeteria's tasteless chicken a la king, only with shrimp & some mystery meats thrown in. I would have had much better quality food at a lower price by going a little off the beaten track to a competing Asian restaurant in Williston. read more

agreed, the asian bistro's sushi rocks! just ask them to recommend the better fish when you go, and you will not be disappointed! they'll also make custom rolls, so FYI! read more

I've eaten here many time, this is my last. We had 3 dirty plates, they were wet and had sauce on them. The food arrived and the Generals chicken was over cooked and the chicken and eggplant was cold. read more

Sooo good! Seriously! It is INSANE how good the food is here! I've eaten here a lot. They have a lunch menu where you get a main course, soup & salad for around $7 or $8 a person. It's a lot, I usually don't finish all of mine. I've never had a complaint here. You can't beat the prices and the food is just outrageous! They recently opened another restaurant in Winooski. We frequent McKee's Pub, so we usually have dinner at Asian Bistro then hit the bar. Both locations are equally spacious, the food is the same and the service is excellent. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed! read more

One star is really too high a rating for this place. My friend and I were going to get dinner and I was going to use the bathroom first. The man at the bar asked me what I was doing and I replied I was going to use the restroom. He told me there was not public bathroom and said I could use one that was at a bus stop down the street. I guess Black or Latin people are not welcome here. You would think they would be interested in our money but apparently I'm not good enough to eat here. The "bathroom" he told me about for the record was closed. Go to tiny Thai down the street delicious food and the people are not racist. read more

Ordered a sushi party platter and it came with 2 rolls one with fake crab and the other just tuna rolled,I expected better rolls. It also came with sashimi, which is not what I think of when I see sushi party platter., especially when another option is sushi and sashimi party platter. Fish tasted and smelled old. Spring rolls were doughy read more
