I like the Mongolian grill and always have a good experience with it. The buffet itself is a crap shoot as to if you're going to get fresh hot dishes or leftovers from an earlier rush. While I understand the need to use prepared food you can tell some of it has been in a heating tray for a couple hours. The staff is awesome and quick to refill your drinks and clear empty plates. Have always enjoyed the Mongolian Grill as well as the Asian buffet. We have been going here for years and years. We have known the owner for years as well and catered to his previous establishment as well. Due to an illness in the family Rick had to go home so consequently when he returned he started up Asia Garden. We also love the fresh fruits, ice cream and the desserts. Only reason giving 4 stars is due to the fact the rating for this restaurant is way too low for what it is. I will think 3 stars will be fit it more. The buffet foods are ok, nothing stand out, some of the breading on meat can be a bit too thick from time to time. However, the grill part is worth to go for the price. Choose your own things and grill it by the cook is a great idea. Not bad place to go for the price: Service is good, friendly staffs and owner. Inside environment can be updated a bit, things are getting old but everything is clean enough. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. The buffet was terrible. Many of the items were cold, some had even dried out sitting there for who knows how long. So unless you are fond of explosive diarrhea I'd advise you to try their Mongolian grill or eat somewhere else. Those in our group that ate the grill seem to be fine. read more

Old building inside perhaps should be updated. But clean with friendly staff quite attentive to keeping your table cleared. Buffet offerings just like most Chinese places with salty sauces and a number of fried dishes. Soup and dessert too. What makes this place outstanding is the Mongolian Grill that comes with the buffet. Choice of noodles udon, egg or rice. Choice of meats pork, chicken, beef and fish and shrimp. Sauces as desired and lots of fresh veggies like cabbage, nappa cabbage, zucchini, broccoli, onions, mushrooms and even pineapple bits. The dish is brought to your numbered table when done. Served very hot. Meal with dessert but no drinks came to about $15 a person. read more

On the way home from Christmas holidays, we were in the mood for some good ol' chinese food, so we took a chance and ordered delivery to our room. So, in this review I can only speak about the food. The delivery took a little longer than the estimate, but when we received the food, it was tasty. It wasn't too greasy like some chinese cuisine can be. I would definitely order it again. read more

Took the family to dinner 4 of us ordered buffet food wasnt very good either it was plain no flavor or over salted . I was very out dated and dirty inside floors very sticky you could hear everyone walking as there shoes were sticking should have left at that point. The food is amazing and the staff are really friendly. We ordered out take out food and they forgotten the almond gravy with our order. After 2 minutes receiving our order the restaurant phoned and told us they were sorry for the missed gravy and sent out a special delivery with a double side of the almond gravy. I am so impressed that this restaurant phoned us and sent out our gravy on the side, because most places would have just over looked this mistake. I highly recommend this incredible restaurant to everyone. ! read more

I feel it is important to update these reviews. This restaurant has been renovated and is very clean. The food is fantastic! You can choose from the Chinese smorg, the Mongolian grill, or both... all for the same price, which is very reasonable. You can also order off the menu and take out is available. Charge way too much for delivery and wouldn't honor their websites pricing, just telling me that it's 'their old prices" and they had no plans to correct it. I've ate here twice, and I've gotten violently sick both times. I went there a while ago to try the buffet. The decor is ugly as hell. The walls are painted a puke green color with pink on one side and it looks like a 1960's retirement home on the other. The food tasted horrible, the buffet wasn't stocked very nicely, you could tell by smelling the chicken on the Mongolian grill that it had turned bad... Lady at the till could barely speak English so attempting to get the proper amount of change back was a battle. The only reason I'm giving Asia Gardens 1 star is because it doesn't allow me to rate it lower on here. EASILY the most disgusting restaurant in the city, possibly the whole province. I love that Asia Garden has a Mongolie Grill where I can create my own unique dish and spicify it the way I want to. I love that there is rice noodles available. The staff are very accomodating to people with food allergies (egg) and children! It is a very casual atmosphere. read more

A really great restaurant! The smorg is good, the prices reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. They recently renovated their space and it is now a very gorgeous and classy looking restaurant, with luxurious Chinese inspired art of golden dragons and phoenixes. They also have a Mongolian grill bar, which allows a customer to customise a Mongolian bowl, with excellent selection. There's also a flattop grill next to the bar which allows customers to watch their food being made. Overall, a really great restaurant! If you went before they renovated and were dissatisfied, please go back! It's definitely worth it. read more

This is one of our better Chinese buffets. The food is always fresh, flavourful, and the trays are replenished rapidly.

My favorite restaurant in town. Great Mongolian stirfry with fresh vegetables. Clean, friendly place. Good Chinese buffet as well. Love it!
