Despite this being visible in his chart, staff applied standard adhesive tape to his arm. When the bandage was later removed, it tore his skin open, leaving a wound that was still unhealed ten days later and caused him significant pain for several weeks. This was not an emergency situation. He was there for a head CT and was stable. There was no reason his allergy could not have been checked before tape was applied to his fragile, Prednisone-thinned skin. I filed a formal complaint and received a response acknowledging the issue and stating that staff had been educated on allergy documentation. An apology and a staff training do not undo the unnecessary pain this caused my father. Documented allergies exist for a reason. Patients and families should not have to fight to have them respected.

Only downside for me is the cost of care for tests, or things not covered by insurance. (Check out alternative places, like Bright Light Imaging for CT Scans or imaging). The halls and main spaces are kept clean and in order. I especially appreciate the staff in the Breast Care Center. They are very caring individuals. I also find it is a perk to have a nice Starbuck's in the lobby here too, so you can treat yourself to a hot or iced beverage after an appointment. And, this is your reminder ladies (and men) to practice self care and get checked regularly each year. You matter! And this is a nice place to go when care is needed.

After northwest joined Midwest, everything went down hill. They supposedly have more providers now, but yet you still can't get in to see a doctor regardless of the time or day( I had to see a NP after 30 weeks instead of a doctor-which is against their own rules, what a coincidence). Who knows when this practice will finally get everything organized and figured out. I waited 9 weeks to get my placental previa checked after they finally realized that they didn't check it. Even though the ultrasound tech recommended it be checked between 24-26 weeks. After being a patient with Midwest and Northwest women's healthcare for several years, I have received a letter today stating that I am no longer a patient at their practice due to noncompliance in their opinion. But the fact that they wanted to induce me without factual results or any other reasoning is absolutely normal in their opinion, risking both my life and my child's. Dr. Stobinski initially told me that everything was great, and then I received a call while driving telling me that she made a mistake and that I had low amniotic fluid, which was absolutely terrifying to hear. I was later able to confirm that it was false. Ultrasounds up at 41 weeks can show false numbers, but nobody wants to acknowledge that, they'd rather get you scheduled. I thank God that I went to the hospital to get a second opinion and was able to make sure that my baby is healthy and safe. I was offered options by the doctor on call, who never saw me before. My baby was born perfectly safe and healthy when he was ready and when his lungs and body were fully developed without any interventions or inductions, completely natural. Who knows what would have happened if I got induced by these providers who didn't offer me any other options expect for an induction which can rapidly bring in a slew of interventions and increase chances for a c-section. I'd advise your practice to speak to the patient before making assumptions. Oh, and the so called missed appointments that you used as reasoning is a lie, your front desk and nurses didn't call me back to arrange a new appointment and wouldn't cancel the previous one.

Did the urine test and came back negative. Was essentially sent on my way and was told it was a strain. A day later (today as i write this) i wokeup with severe pain and continued blood in urine. Went to the ER. Ultra sound was fine and urine test came back as double infection. So not sure why it didn't yesterday... Wasted a few bucks, time, and a day of pain for essentially nothing. Wouldn't come back based off of that.

She is efficient and really cares about her patients. I wish I had known her when I was having my second child. I would have loved to have had her deliver my daughter. :) I had chosen male OB/GYN doctors in the past, but I have found that Dr. Gerber is a great doctor as well. :) She is responsive to my questions and gives me all the options available. I am not disappointed with her bedside manner or care. I will definitely see her year after year and recommend her to women who need a new OB/GYN doc.

All to just see a doctor for no longer than the amount of time it takes him to write you a prescription. This is not "immediate care". Basically what they're doing here is making an appointment for you and making you wait until it rolls around. Once, when they told me the wait was 2 hours (which, I'm not stupid, I know with them probably means more like 4 hours), I asked if I could come back in 2 hours, and they said no, I can't do that. You would think they would be smart enough to just hire more doctors, but apparently they don't care about their patients enough. I have also done lots of babysitting and a few families have specifically told me NOT to take their kids to Sherman in case of an emergency. You suck, Sherman immediate care!! For my last in-person appointment, it's a 45 minute drive for me to reach the office and when I arrived, the entire office was closed and empty, even though I had continued to receive appointment reminders up until that point. I've been calling the office for days trying to make an appointment and refill my prescriptions, with no answer or option to leave a message. I'm aware that they had a large staff turnover, but it's been months now of frustration.
