Complained to the social worker and director and nothing was done. Never saw a doctor never saw a chaplain as they promised before they start hospice, they make it sound so wonderful as your loved one will be taking care of. They offer no compassion, they don't listen to your concerns. I never even received condolences from the nurse the day of my mother's death when she looked at me in the eye. They should not even be in the business of hospice absolutely disgusting how they treat their patients and family members.

I previously gave a review of Valley View Village and its care of my brother who is 66 years old…read moreand has frontal lobe damage and beginning stage of Dementia. In the review I spoke of the LVN Teresa Lehman . Through 7 months of going back and forth about medical care with my brother , many discussions and frustration on both of our sides I always feel it is necessary to update either way good or not so good . Teresa has listened and been receptive and not so receptive and I'm guilty of the same . We have definitely one thing in common the well being of my brother . She has stayed through arguments, discussions and we both want what is best for my brother's care and emotional well being and support . She is the only LVN in the facility and that a tremendous amount of care for one person and I now understand that . So I'd like to Thank Teresa for her unwavering commitment to a lot of residents my brother being only one of them . All though a person may lose their cognitive skills they are still there and it's just overwhelming for family . She has taken the time on her day off to go over things with us and I believe she does care about the profession she chose and it's a daily learning curve for all of us . So Thank You Teresa for helping and staying with a very difficult job and making sure my brother is cared for in the best way possible. Cynthia Manning

Instead of working primarily on my neck, he had a table that stretched my lower back, then he put a tens machine on my lower back and left for a long period of time. When he did touch my neck, he only adjusted one side, leaving the other side more painful. Before leaving, he placed a menthol rub on the counter and said it was $45 dollars. I wasn't expecting that, but I paid. I went two more times, while he seemed to still focus on my lower back. Then, on my third visit, they said I needed to pay $25 more for the X-rays taken on the first day. Since you can only pay in cash, I paid as much as I could towards it, even though I was never told about this extra charge. I feel completely duped and manipulated! I cannot suggest this doctor in any way.

They supplied us with everything we needed and it all came on same day when asked for. They provided a hospital bed, oxygen tanks and machine, adult diapers, pads, wipes, Ensure and all the medications. Our comfort care provider Alexandra ( Alex ) was outstanding, she came by 3 times a week to bath, shave, change sheets, pads and diapers. Her advise we really appreciated. The good thing about Oyuna is that when you call for help you get a experienced Nurse that answers not an answering service. We had bad experiences in the past with 2 other hospice services that weren't there when we needed them so we were hesitant to try it again. I'm glad we found Oyuna Hospice, they totally restored our faith back in Hospice care. Thank you, Oyuna Hospice.
