For years, she was groomed by the same wonderful lady until she retired, so finding someone new has been a bit challenging since Sky can be very anxious. They firstly ignored the problems I described and wanted to do X-rays on him because they believed he had asthma, they refused to run ANY tests since I didn't want to do the X-ray for his breathing when we were there for his discomfort around his potty time. They then stated his potty issues was from eating fleas and they gave him something to clear up the "parasite". I did insist that I wasn't sure THAT was what was causing his discomfort because it only happened when he went to use the bathroom, I paid over $165 for this visit and was told I'd need to bring him back in a month for a follow up. That wasn't also including the other medication they were insisting he needed for fleas ect. (He had no fleas and is treated regularly for them) I trusted this vet when my instincts kept telling me the "parasite" wasn't the problem it was something else. I continued to monitor him until I was supposed to bring him back, however On 12/27/2025 we had to rush him to ANOTHER vet in town where he was diagnosed with a severe UTI and had to be put under and a catheter was inserted to save his life. I would not trust this place with my pet or my money EVER again. They ignored CLEAR signs from my cat he was in clear distress and needed help. They are MONEY hungry and will shoo you out of the door as long as they get as much money from you as possible. I would highly HIGHLY think twice before having a member of your family treated here.

She took a bad turn for the worse. Dr. Bower is not my vet as I am not from this area. After calling him on a Sunday, he met me within 20 minutes at his clinic. Later that evening, I knew it was time. Dr. Bower met me AGAIN on Sunday evening. He comforted my sweet Dubie and gave us as much time as we needed. His compassion and care for my pet was sincere and genuine. Further, Dr. Bower only had my phone number from calling his emergency line. He answered two emergency calls on a Sunday and didn't ask for a dime. I went back in the next day to make final arrangements and render payment. I cannot say enough about Dr. Bower as a professional and as a person. I am forever grateful to him.

It was nice and had a couch so you could sit with your dog and say your goodbyes. It's by the reception desk. Who you think would be respectful... all you could hear the whole time was them being very loud and giggling. Practically yelling their jokes while someone is doing one of the hardest things possible. It was very rude and we didn't get the experience we needed in order to heal. When I went to pick my dogs ashes a girl was coming out of the door crying and holding her dogs collar and leash. You know what she had just been through. Yet everyone again was so loud and joking with someone there standing with tears in their eyes.

We have taken our dog here twice, to be honest I don't think we will ever take our dog here again…read more Long story short, the most recent time we were in here I specifically asked my husband to have her vaccinated for the Bordetella & Parvo shots. Hell, I even wrote it down on a post-it note so he wouldn't forget. At my dog's appointment he handed the sticky over to the front desk and asked for BOTH shots. At the end of the visit, he asked them to print out our clinical summary to keep in our files. Side note, most boarding places in Lawton for dogs wont take your dog if you do not have these injections+ the rabies vaccine. We are uneducated when it comes to animal medical jargon. I saw the clinical summary, saw two injections listed, thought to myself, "great two injections total, one for each one we asked for". WRONG THEY DID NOT GIVE MY DOG THE BORDETELLA SHOT WHEN WE SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR IT. We didn't know the two injections were both for Parvo!? So, fast-forward to when we were going out of town and needed to board her somewhere, YEP.. they informed us that she was NOT vaccinated. We were livid & still are VERY upset with this business.

Hes 9 and arthritic in his hips, which was noted and initialed in the disclosure form we sign before dropping him off. She did zero actual work. I had to buy towels and a blow dryer from PopShelf just to get him dry enough to take him home. Been going here for years and this was borderline, if not actual, animal neglect. He's a three layer malamute and being wet in the cold can severely hamper his health. I am disgusted and demand accountability.
