They firstly ignored the problems I described and wanted to do X-rays on him because they believed he had asthma, they refused to run ANY tests since I didn't want to do the X-ray for his breathing when we were there for his discomfort around his potty time. They then stated his potty issues was from eating fleas and they gave him something to clear up the "parasite". I did insist that I wasn't sure THAT was what was causing his discomfort because it only happened when he went to use the bathroom, I paid over $165 for this visit and was told I'd need to bring him back in a month for a follow up. That wasn't also including the other medication they were insisting he needed for fleas ect. (He had no fleas and is treated regularly for them) I trusted this vet when my instincts kept telling me the "parasite" wasn't the problem it was something else. I continued to monitor him until I was supposed to bring him back, however On 12/27/2025 we had to rush him to ANOTHER vet in town where he was diagnosed with a severe UTI and had to be put under and a catheter was inserted to save his life. I would not trust this place with my pet or my money EVER again. They ignored CLEAR signs from my cat he was in clear distress and needed help. They are MONEY hungry and will shoo you out of the door as long as they get as much money from you as possible. I would highly HIGHLY think twice before having a member of your family treated here.

In California a neuter is approximately 300$ if you go to a vets office. If you go to the humane society it's approx $150. The ABC Folks do this community a great service offering low cost spays neuter and shots. The staff are warm and welcoming but they're very busy preventing unwanted pets by offering low cost spays and neuters. I have a suggestion for the folks of Lawton. Go to the ABC clinic for low cost spays and neuters and maybe if you can. Leave 5$ extra? It'll add up and in the hands of these great women it will Serve the pet community. I can honestly say that my father's dog was a huge part of his life and I know he's happy that ABC Clinic has rehabilitated Otis the Serial Humper into Otis the Nutless Wonder! Thanks ABC Clinic! You're angels of mercy and protectors of the voiceless. You do a part of God's work and it isn't unnoticed or unappreciated.

While the staff is friendly it became harder and harder for me to convince myself that they knew what they were doing. My first concern was right after surgery when my dog walked out with blood dripping down his face from being able to scratch the stitches. I assumed they had forgotten his cone, but when I asked for one, I was told to buy my own. Everything went fine and the bleeding slowed down for a few days but on day 4 of post-crop, my dogs ears had an awful smell. I then called and asked if the bandages needed to be removed and I was told no. The smell got worse in the next few days and I became more concerned so I called again and was told by the receptionist to take them off after she said the Dr. was too busy to ask him about it. That same day, I took the bandages off with the help of three others and come to find out, he was not itching because his ears hurt. He was itching because there was a metal rod digging into the top of his head causing a VERY obvious infection. Frantically, I try to get ahold of the vet on emergency hours but he was "not taking emergencies for the next few days" (come to find out: he wasn't taking them for the next month). I was given no option but to leave a message and wait until the morning and even then, not a single call was returned. A week later I took my dog back in to see if he was ready to have the stitches removed. Upon picking him up, I found out that they were indeed removed and I was ensured that he had been cleaned up before his ear posting. Two days pass and his posting has collapsed and the smell is back. Again, I have to take the bandages off, but I was not prepared for what was underneath. The infection was now on his ears and his wounds were completely opened. I took him to another vet to get a second opinion and when the doctor came out, he asked, "can I have the name of clinic that did this to your dog?" Finally, I knew I wasn't just paranoid and something was very wrong. I was then told by two different doctors that my dog needed reconstructive surgery and $200 worth of medicine. In addition, I had to purchase the materials to post my dogs ears at home out of the fear of taking him back. I can only hope that my dog's experience is not a common occurrence for this clinic and I hate to leave such a review considering I have never used yelp in my life, but I would hate for this to happen to anyone else's beloved pet.

They even have lifetime shots. You pay a set price and it's good for the duration of your pets life. I won't be going back.
