Julius came to repair a gutter drainage down pipe that had become disconnected…read more during the recent high winds. It was a difficult job to do because of the height of the pipe. He had to make two visits, the first was in pouring rain but he still climbed a ladder to fix the reachable sections. He then researched where to hire the cheapest 9 metre ladder and went to pick it up before returning to fix the disconnected pipe at roof height. From beginning to end we received nothing but delays, excuses, no shows, pestering for keys and changes of plans. As soon as we payed the deposit for the works he announced he had a dog with separation anxiety which he had no choice but to bring along (Despite having been told that we didn't want a dog in our house). This dog was then the catalyst for the barrage of plan changes and no shows. He brought this dog into our friends home on a previous job, same story, he was told the dog was not welcome and as soon as the deposit was paid, separation anxiety revealed and he brought the dog anyway. I do not see the need to recount the specifics of our disappointing experience in their entirety but I recommend avoiding this trades person as he obviously takes on far more jobs than he can handle at any one time.

He would say I will be with you by 10 , this happened first 2 days , then after that missed 2 days , one day per week . Then general turn up at 11 /12 Stay for 3 maybe 4 hours, always some excuse to leave. He told so many lies as to why he needed the money. Early , wife ill, yet she came and helped him. To put up the last strip of wall paper upside down. He told me wall paper not a problem, then he kept saying I always, go round my work with you to sort out snagging, issues, obviously he didn't he vanished, within 2 days he closed 2 website he was advertising on , blocked me on everything. I managed to try and get a quote via a friend with him. And he said he was changing numbers so email only . Don't ever let him contact through WhatsApp , because once, he's taken your money with his sob stories, he will block you. He's a liar. I have every message, WhatsApp, and screenshot, the lies he told me when I pretended, I wanted a quote. I said who I was, he tripped himself up. I have pictures of the work he said he had done and never did. I notified police, trading standards, every website he was on. Now I am going to small claims. My son didn't have a bed , because we was getting him room decorated , then new flooring then new bed , he knew this a my son has had to wait 4 weeks instead of one. He is a wolf in sheep clothing, please don't let this cowboy near any of your family or friends
