This is such a miserable situation and terrible circumstance for me in regards to Ashley's furniture. On September 2 my boyfriend and I went in to the furniture store to purchase a bed. We were given dates on the bed itself to be delivered by the 5th. Well the mattress and adjustable frame were delivered on that day but we were informed that the headboard rails and footboard would be delivered by 10/15. WELL TODAY IS THE 23RD. We reached out to them on Oct. 5th and were informed that it was on back order and it would be delivered by the 23rd. I take off work knowing this may be a process just for the customer service rep to call me 5 minutes before the driver pulls up to tell me they only have my foot board and rails. Now what the hell am I suppose to do with that? The man sits silently on the phone with zero solution and tells me now that the headboard has been located but he is not sure when it will be able to be delivered. So almost 2 months later I am sitting here with a mattress, adjustable frame and 2 big boxes on the side of my bed!!! Why not just keep it until EVERYTHING ARRIVES!!!!! The only thing the man can say to me is "sorry ma'am". I am truly disgusted and extremely disappointed. I promise you once I receive my item it better be in the best condition possible because I will NEVER purchase from Ashley's again. I can't even begin to explain my frustration in dishing out the amouny of money that we have spent to be treated like we purchased our furniture on the side of the road. I will never recommend my family, friends, nor clients to do business with them. I have done alot of business but I have NEVER dealt with business like this. February 28th, a month of fighting to get the 3 orders of furniture we bought on January 27th and still, 4 times rescheduled, drivers who disappear.... the only item we received, a mattress without a foundation and nothing else! To my dismay, I discovered that the $1600 mattress has 2 black boot marks on! The disrespect and unprofessionalism from Ashley Furniture is absolutely shocking! I have missed 2 days of income, due to the fact that they only deliver during working hours and now, the brand new mattress is dirty and we have NOT received a dresser, mirror, 2 x night stands,2 x lamps, table, 4 x bar stools and the rest of our bed! I have been provided with an email address and I was 'invited' to write an email, so that this matter could be resolved, which I did....but of course with NO RESPONSE!! Don't buy from Ashley home furniture they have horrible furniture and even worse customer service! We spent almost $8000 and received a couch that had a broken frame and after one use our dining room table had heat spots from our dinner plates(we used a table cloth and placements and it still ruined the table) I called and the lady I spoke with said that they would send someone out to look at it and that from the pictures the table shouldn't do that. The service guy came out looked at the table and said he sees this all the time and that it was a defect. After not hearing back from them for a month and a half I called only to be told that it was my fault that the table was ruined and they wouldn't replace or fix the table! I guess you aren't supposed to use a dining room table for meals! They were nice enough to say someone would fix our broken couch though but I still haven't been able to get anyone out here to fix it or heard from their service department! read more

My boyfriend and I have went to ashley twice because we liked a certain piece of a couch (the cuddler)that many other places didn't have. The first time we were hesitant on the price of the sectional and we didn't move yet so we figured we'd come back next time. Service wasn't bad, seemed like alot of salespersons standing around. Two of them were able to give us some info and tried to help us out. Now, the second time we came, we were helped by Amber(?). She would come and go, not much help or info, and when we were done browsing upstairs, she said she thought we had left. We told her we thought she was hiding. She tried pushing us into buying something but we told her that we called up a previous place we went to that said they could beat ashleys prices and so we weren't sure of sticking with them. She gave us an attitude saying "well we're the manufacturer so they can't beat our prices." After giving us her card, she went straight back to a co-worker friend from what it appeared to basically talk behind our backs even when we were still standing around looking at other stuff. Obviously, she gave up on us and didn't even want to bother anymore. So that same day, we went to stack furniture in fife, who said they could beat ashleys price and we were able to buy their oversized swivel chair plus a couch and 5 year warranty and tax for $1100. Delivery is 120 on the delivery day. Meanwhile, at ashley, that combo is 1200 for just the two pieces, not including tax, warranty, and delivery.... Wanted to go back and show the receipt to the woman at ashley but figured there was no point. We got what we wanted for cheaper and that's all that mattered. WARNING, DO NOT GO HERE!!! I first want to let you know I am an interior designer in the Seattle-Tacoma area. I have sent tons of clients to this specific location.... however, I never personally purchased furniture from here. I purchased furniture from here, 2 bar stools I fell in love with at the store and a full living room set including 2 oversized chairs and couch with end table, coffee table and a lamp. I received delivery mid November 2016 after a wait of a month and a half. While I was willing to wait for my furniture to make sure I got it all at once and was able to send back what didn't fit in the room (suggestion of the sales staff). When the furniture finally came, delivery was a 3 hour window and I have to say I was extremely excited to get it until...... 5 pieces out of 8 were assembled incorrect or were defective. The delivery company tried arguing with me and having me sign their ipad stating that the problems were not something they agreed on! let me get more specific.... first item they brought in was a barstool that was already unwrapped, it had a dent in the padding causing the fabric to wrinkle and a slight tear on the corner of fabric. I asked them if they had it beneath a bunch of furniture that caused this and they did not respond but tried to rub it out and pretend it was fine. After I refused it, they brought another stool in that was wobbling! This was no cheap stool either! Next came two $700 a piece overstuffed chairs. One of these chairs stitching wasn't aligned and looked awful.... the stitching was so bad that part of chair didn't have edge fabric. then the back wasn't attached but left a gap between chair and its base! Following those pieces I received a coffee table and end table and a box. the end table legs were assembled crooked!!!! and they did not move.... at this point I'm waiting for my couch...... everything was brought in unwrapped until the couch. The delivery company had cardboard and heavy plastic wrap around the couch making the couch huge! instead of unwrapping like the rest of the furniture, these men decided to shove it through my door.... as I watched taking pics, it did not even come close to fitting but was wedged into my door opening. This is when they decided to shove it back out like a marshmallow through a key hole! as they got it out I'm noticing the black paint chipped off my door and starting to cringe inside..... finally they got it out of the opening and I was thinking they would unwrap and slowing move it in. NOPE! They moved it to another side and again, shoved through!!!!!! As one of them rested this huge piece of furniture on my floor it dented and scratched my hardwoods and ripped my door seal! cringing the entire time, the couch was in and the damage was done. I made them stay (like my sales person said) so that I can make sure furniture fit. after all you only get 14 days to return item. So I tried to return stools, messed up overstuffed chair and end table. The delivery company told me to call Ashley Customer service and made me sign off stating they see nothing and its customer opinion!!!! As if I'm not just boiling at this point. I instantly call Ashley furniture and after a 45 min wait I finally got a hold of someone and sent them all the pictures I took. To sum it up, their telephone systems were down and this conversation took over 2 hours after a few calls back.... to get a technician out to see if they could fix the default furniture. If the technician could not do that they would then send new furniture like the furniture I bought! I tried to just get replacement pieces but was declined.... Of course, I debox the lamp and its got dirt stuck inside the glass too! That's not it..... There was trash up and down my street from the delivery company!!!!!! tons! A week and a half goes by and technician comes.... he says they are all not fixable. I was thinking he would exchange then, but no. He called Ashley furniture to say it all is not fixable and left. Ashley furniture then tells me to wait another 3 hours for someone to come pick up the overstuffed chair. Mind you, this is mid week day so I lost a day of work. Meanwhile, I contacted Ashley furniture every week on the phone and hold with them 2-3 hours per week trying to get my door and floor fixed. Ashley furniture uses a 3rd party! So pretty much had to wait and call all the time to see how I can get someone to fix this. after several complaints and people I finally get a call from this lady who tells me she will fix it all and the delivery company has 14 days to fix and they will help me if they don't contact me or resolve. I felt finally relieved and happy.... until this 3rd party called days after and said they would be handling my claim but need pictures of damage ( THAT I ALREADY SENT). So I tell her, she has it already.... she says no problem we will get back to you in a day or two to fix. Its been a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now calling everyday! read more

Helpful in-store staff and I found what I was looking for, which had to be delivered. So far so good. Where they went wrong was waterboarding me with 10 phone calls in one week to confirm that they are going to deliver on Tuesday. They've called me every day for the past five days, twice on Sunday, three times on Monday including during dinner and twice before 8am on Tuesday. I love my furniture that I bought and Kristina for helping us out however the delivery and customer service department is lacking as suggested by other reviewers. They went to the wrong house last week when out delivering our stuff but called us and we got it cleared up they also called 72 hours ahead to confirm last week as well. Today a week later, no calls confirming anything in fact I had to call them this morning to confirm , they were supposed to deliver more furniture and I got a automated call saying they were 20 minutes out when they didn't show up 45 minutes later, I called to see what's up turns out they went to the wrong house again. I was then told that they got the correct address and they are going to head our way but since they were already halfway there they stopped at another house to go ahead and deliver someone else's furniture first which I thought was kind of rude considering that we had been waiting longer and we had to have this whole ordeal with them going to the wrong house in the first place so now here I am waiting a couple more hours before they're going to come and deliver all my stuff. Yelp took off my original review saying it did not pertain to the store. I disagree. Although I might have been a bit brash it was because I was upset over the events that happened that day. I wholeheartedly believe that their security guard harassing my family is relevant to the store itself. The security guard was hired by Ashley furniture therefor it is relevant. This was a case of horrible customer service nothing less! Here is my original review: THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!!!! Now that Chick-Fil-A is next to them they have been really pushy about their parking spaces. I think that it is rude for them to threaten to tow peoples cars for using spaces that were never being used in the first place. A good company and smart business owner would see this as an opportunity to expand their clientele. Lets be honest, before Chick-Fil-A was there your lot was empty because your stuff is crappy, over priced, and your customer service sucks. When we tried to park today we were aggressively spoken to by the security guard IN FRONT OF MY SMALL CHILDREN!!!! Funny thing is we were going to Ashley furniture first to see what their "big sale" was all about. Whatever you do DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ACCEPTANCE NOW. This is a "too good to be true" moment. We bought our couch set which totaled around $2100.00 in March. Since we've been paying $220/month (total of $1400.00 so far). Today I called to see how much was still owing on our account to find that we still owed $1900.00?! The woman who initially signed us up for this program went on and on about how it was such a good program and how she'd only ever work for an honest company. (Which is ironic now) We were told we were signing up to pay the $220.00 for 1 year then the set would be paid off. Much to my disgust today I found out that she had set it up for a 3 year term? This means our $2000.00 couch would end up costing us $8000.00 in the long run. This is SUCH a scam I can't even begin to explain all of the random "fees" that we've been paying for. We would end up paying $720.00 fees over the 3 years for "account maintenance". While I understand this program is not ran by Ashley themselves they clearly vouch for it as it's in all of their stores. I cannot even begin to describe to you how much regret and grief this whole situation has caused my family. read more

Our sales rep Amber was great at the Tacoma store. HOWEVER, we had our delivery scheduled and I took the day off way ahead of time and they never delivered our furniture because their "truck broke down." They never called ME to reschedule the new delivery, I had to call them and there was no sympathy at all. I asked for a refund on my delivery fee and they said they would schedule me for Monday. Now it's Monday and now they're telling me they're going to deliver on Wednesday WITHOUT confirming with us. We both work full time and aren't just able to schedule appts last minute. When we first came into the store we were greeted, but once we went to look around and finally decide on something to buy. It was almost as if they didn't have to be nice or try anymore, because we were ready to buy the things we liked. Check out, took very long, and in that time my husband and I stood around a front desk as they gossiped about how the company keeps changing things and they don't know what to add in the computer. Finally we made it to check out and pay. Which was the easiest process, them taking our money. The person who helped us, ran as quickly away as possible for her sale was done. Very rude and when buying expensive things you would think the present of the employees would be nice. She looked like she worked at a night club. ( should have been a red flag) After getting a delivery date. I scheduled to take a day off work to be available for when our things can be delivered. For we were not given a time, just a date. Now the day before the items should be at our house, we are told that our items will have to wait another day because they were unaware that we live on a military base, they only delivery to military bases on Mondays, Wednesday's and Friday's. So now I will request another personal day off so I can accommodate. For a service we payed for, and now they can just change at a last minutes notice. Very unhappy with costumer services, with the delivery process. Absolutely enjoy the quality of the products. From the sounds of other complaints and my experience. They are in need of some training and better management at this location. Plan to travel to another location next time. Bad news again :( So it is Friday at 10:46pm and still no bed. We were told our delivery would be here between 3pm-7pm. At 6:30 I called the store and told them I never heard back from anyone and it is almost 7. She said she would going to find out what happened. So at 7:10 I got a call back that the truck left for drop offs at 6:15pm (why? not sure when we were number three on the list and it was suppose to be here between 3-7) So 8:20 I call back and said "hey still no one is here" she calls back and they said we were the next stop. They should be here in 20 minutes. She offered to give us back our fee we payed to have to brought to our house. Needless to say store is closed at 9, and still no one is here. I am very DISAPPOINTED AND AGGRAVATED with this location ONLY DUE TO THEIR RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE AMBER. I signed the paper work while sitting on the same exact model and color that I wanted and was told that it was in fact that same one. I was also told that they had it in a gray color and they offered to show it to us but I refused, as I was sold on that original furniture that I was currently sitting on. I signed the papers and was currently happy on that decision. On the day that they had delivered the furniture, they had brought the WRONG COLOR, the delivery guy had ALSO CONFIRMED with the warehouse that it was the WRONG COLOR so they took the furniture back, and It is NOT at all the delivery guys fault, which we appreciate that he had checked for us. We had called Amber who then continuously insisted that the delivery guy and the warehouse was wrong and that she was right and sent the right furniture. Keep in mind, that the furniture warehouse is located in OREGON, so tell me, how does She know that it is in fact the right furniture?! Again, the delivery guy had confirmed it with the warehouse that it was wrong. Amber then proceeded to tell us that the furniture that we ordered didn't come in the specific color that I had originally wanted/signed for and implied that we were color blind because the lighting in our home is different from theirs in the store. I understand that the lighting is different but it wouldn't make such a difference that we wouldn't be able to tell the difference between gray and light brown. She then began to tell us that "she's been working there for 5 years and she's not wrong." Let me just say that the number of years that you have worked for a company does not matter! So Amber, STOP insisting that you are always correct just because you've been working there for a certain amount of years! She continued to yell and then proceeded to hang up on us. Through this whole thing, WE had to continuously call them until someone finally answered and we NEVER received a call back after being told we would numerous times. They kept giving us the run around and it is extremely frustrating! In the end, we canceled the order because of all the games they were playing with us. Read these reviews and STAY AWAY! We went in the store to cancel our order (within the 48hours of order). The manager was VERY rude and unprofessional. Don't. Just don't. All you'll get is a migraine. We're military and had just PCS'd to the area, we needed a new sofa and a new mattress, since our stuff wasn't going to be here for another 3 weeks. We got approved for financing and started shopping. Amber was our sales associate and was very busy, yet very helpful in the beginning. We picked out a sofa and a mattress & box springs and was told that they'd be delivered in 2 days, that was perfect. We went to sign all of the paperwork and we were told that delivery would be 2 week later than what we were initially told. I let them know that Amber said 2 days, not 2 weeks. Amber came up to the office and was quite rude stating that the 2 day delivery was before she knew we lived on base. I asked her why she didn't say anything when she found out that we were on base and I never got an answer, just attitude. We decided that we didn't want the sofa and that we'd just take the mattress and box springs with a 1 June delivery (1 week out). Well, 1 June comes around and neither my husband nor myself have gotten a call to confirm a delivery time so I call only to find out that our delivery date has been changed (per the customer service rep on the phone) to 8 June. She asked if we'd gotten a phone call to let us know of the change and I said that we obviously hadn't or I wouldn't be on the phone with her now. I spoke with the store manager and she had absolutely no interest in fixing the situation or making it right in any kind of way. I even said that we would pick up the mattress and that they could cancel the box springs, as that was the hold up apparently. She informed me that delivery was the only option or our other choice was to cancel everything. Are you getting where this is going? I called their corporate office, only to discover that no one in that company really cares and that they do what they want, when they want to do it and that customers and/or customer service isn't really that important to them. Promises are just words with no meaning and apparently they don't need customers with that kind of problem resolution. We will be taking our business and our money elsewhere, as we deserve to be be appreciated and valued as customers, not jerked around. Avoid this place at all costs if you have any kind of expectations of getting what you paid for in a reasonable amount of time, but then again if you enjoy ending your day with a migraine, shop there. read more

I have felt nothing but irritation since purchasing our couch. I should preface this story with letting everyone know that my husband and I are trusting people. When the sales person tells us something we tend to believe it (until now, lesson learned!!) READ ALL OF THE PAPERWORK GIVEN TO YOU. Amber followed us around the store for awhile, answering all of our questions. I specifically told her I wanted a couch where the cushions came off the back (aren't attached) so they can be washed (we have dogs). This was my number one need in a couch, easy to clean. They didn't have any like that in the store but she showed us one online that looked really nice and she insisted the cushions came off the back. She talked us into purchasing it by letting us know that we can return the couch for a full refund within two days of getting it into our house (untrue, it's two days from the date you purchased it, first lie). She also told us we had two weeks from getting it into our house to exchange it (untrue, you have two days, second lie). She also told us we could exchange it for any couch, including the less expensive one we were considering (untrue, it must be of equal or more value, third lie). She also told us we would be able to pick it up from the warehouse that following weekend (untrue, we bought it the 1st of May, couldn't pick it up until the 17th of June, fourth lie). Being the absolute morons we are, we believed every word coming out of her mouth. Fourth lie...just got the couch into our house and of course the back cushions are attached. The only reason I bought the damn couch and it wasn't even true. In reality if we had read the contract instead of believing the girl who gets paid to help you, we wouldn't be in this mess. And thankfully the couch is pretty, it's just a $1083 mistake and headache. Needless to say I will never shop here again, even though I am very familiar with their policies now. Every.Single.Thing.Was. Horrible. This is gonna be a loooong story! I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again. Here is what happened to me: We went in on the Memorial Day Sale on May 26th. Found a couch set we liked that included a sofa Sleeper for our college aged daughter to sleep on when she came over. We were told in wouldn't be in until around June 26th. OK, no problem-we were getting 20% off anyways. We paid for our delivery fees and taxes and put the rest on a credit account we opened up on that day. June 26th comes around. We get an automated call saying the couch will be delivered the next day between 12:00-4pm. After the call we proceded to take couches to dump and rug doctored our floors-excited for the new furniture. My husband took a half day off at work to meet the delivery folks. No one showed up. No one called. Nothing. He calls me quite upset-he had been on hold with the customer service desk for 50 minutes! I call over there and get accidently hung up on before I get to talk to anybody at the store so I just went over there(I work nearby). I talk with a few folks who tell me to talk to another lady. I wait for her to get off of the phone and tell her my story. She checks my account and sees that 1.03 $ is due on my order. Yes 1.03. The order I put on a credit account they set up for me to use, a credit account that has a 5 thousand dollar limit. But she explains that they would still deliver the furniture, it shouldn't have been an issue, and they should have called to let us know if they weren't. About that time my husband texts me that the lady at Customer Service just told him specifically it was because of the1.03 $ that our furniture did not get delivered. Mind you, we have no furniture in our living room/family room now because we got rid of it when we got the delivery phone call. She explains to me(the same thing that the other lady told my husband) they would not be able to get a delivery until July 2nd. JULY 2nd! For their own errors! There was no way that was acceptable. She told me to wait until the morning and she would talk to "corporate" to see what she can do to speed up delivery. She would conact me as soon as she got ahold of them. Next Day. Noon comes and I still have not recieved a call. Screw it, I am just going into the store again. I show up and the lady explains that she has not heard back from "corporate" yet. I tell her I am not leaving until this gets fixed and I sit there, awkwardly, staring at her. After tons of phone calls she finally brings someone in the store over to me that apologizes for the inconvenience and she gets on the phone to get things figured out. Aparently, until this magical 1.03$ gets off of my account I can't even get a delivery set up-and nobody can take it off accept for some dude that they can eventually get on the phone. The second lady talks with him, they press some sort of magical button and the 1.03 is finally gone. But they are still talking about July 2nd being the delivery date, but they would credit my delivery fees back. I stay there explaining that is an unacceptable timeframe for delivery when they were the ones that were in the wrong, my husband had to take time off of work-not to mention the time I have put in to fix this. Somehow, after HOURS they are able to get it delivered to me that night. Alright, you would think this would be the end-right? Wrong! I finally get my first bill in the mail on July 31st. Guess what? No delivery fee credit! I call Ashley and talk with the same lady who helped me before. She explains that the credit usually gets put back on the card at the last payment due. Like I pay 11 payments and the 12th is going to have my delivery fees returned on it. Well that didn't sound right to me so I called the credit company. They show no credit on my account. It shows up in account 7-10 days after it gets done. So I call back Ashley furniture again and guess what? They didn't credit it back! The reason she gave was that they switched systems. She says that now the credit should be back on my account. Who knows if that is the truth or not. Honestly, I think that they are scamming people. If I wouldn't have looked at my credit card statement I might have never know. It has taken 2 and a half months so far to get this all taken care of. read more

When we originally went to the store we were immediately bombarded by sales people who then proceeded to follow us around the store. We were looking for a mattress and it was strongly suggested we try the tempurpedics (which I agreed to given that it was clear that if we didn't they would continually be brought up despite being far out of our price range). After finally deciding on a mattress we scheduled a delivery for thursday when I would have the whole day to accept the delivery. We then had to wait until tuesday to "set up a time" to have it delivered. What actually happened was that they told us that due to our zip code the mattress could not be delivered until the next day. This was a bit of a problem as I have class in the morning but I agreed that it would work if the delivery could be scheduled in the afternoon. Wednesday when they were supposed to call us to set up a delivery time we did not receive a call. I called thursday in the morning and was told that the delivery time had been set to Friday morning because it was based on our zip code. The next available delivery was wednesday when I have finals! I read the reviews before I decided to shop at Ashley and I must say, I had a fabulous experience. I have been looking for the perfect sectional for nearly a year and I finally found it. I was greeted at the door and told about the current promotion which was amazing and truly allowed me to get what I wanted. Financing until 2020. My sales person was very helpful and not pushy, I felt like Cherie had my best interest in mind. We actually had a great time and it was a awesome experience . Purchased leather sofa and love seat; as well as long dining table and 8 chairs. The furniture is beautiful and was on sale, good prices;however very soon after purchase, the dining chairs wood stain started to chip off and I don't know why because I'm single and have no pets and didn't use the furniture much other than serve guests at a dinner. The LR furniture seems very quality. I like it--just the matter of the stain chipping off when no one is banging against it or using it very much. read more

Absolutely worst experience with this company. First they order and deliver the wrong rocker recliner, then they say that will fix it, then they try to charge me a second delivery charge, then they forget to deliver my coffee table on the day they chose. I complain about wanting my money back they say it's not possible and then mark in their system that my case has been closed when it was not. After haggling for two weeks they agree to exchange my delivery for the correct recliner I ordered which I then have to wait two more weeks for. Then I'm told it will be delivered in a certain time frame and of course delivery is an hour and a half late. STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE this company doesn't give a rats ass about customer service and will push you to the side. I REPEAT, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. read more

I am moving into a new apartment and stopped at Ashleys to buy some of my furniture. The guy that helped me was awesome, very helpful and informative. However the management is so extremely bad,This guy that was helping me was receiving such rude replies from his coworkers. When I explained them that I wanted to pay some of my furniture on cash and some from my debit card. The female manager had such a hard time understanding what I wanted to happen, She said she was " confused" with such a bad attitude.. Anyways I was so tired I didn't pay much attention since I just wanted to get out of there My delivery was schedule for the 10th which was a Friday, they told me they were going to give me a call 72 hurs prior with the time of the delivery. The 10th I was still waiting for a call and around 10 am I called the store and the lady tells me that I wrote my number wrong, when it makes no sense because they had me check all my info before I left. I asked her how come she didn't send me an email. She rudely told me that they don't send no emails and that it was my fault for not writing the contact number correctly. After some more rude answers The female tells me they could deliver my furniture the next day, which was the 11th The next day arrives and I don't get no call from them. When I call they have me speak with the delivery side of the store and then another lady tells me that It wasn't delivered the day prior because my phone number was incorrect and that I didnt have any appointment for the 11th for my items to be delivered, so the manager to whom I spoke with didn't do anything like she said she did now the rescheduled me for the 15th .. Let's see what happens. . I want to add that I read all the bad reviews about this place, but being the "open minded " person I am I decided to give them a chance myself. I have had the WORST experience ever. I was in late May and purchased a couch. I was told the soonest delivery would be July 3rd. However I work M-F, so i was told July 4th would be the next saturday available. Okay fine, only one day later. I was told i would be getting a call 1-2 days prior. I got one Thursday July 2nd to comfirm delivery on the fourth. I was told i will now get a call on the 3rd to give me my time window. I never got one. So now i'm calling and calling, and was finally told, Oh your warehouse doesn't deliver on the 4th. So we will have to reschedule. Even though I have talked to customer service, the scheduling people, and the STORE MANAGER, and none of them knew of this. So now i'm pissed and am tempted to return the whole damn thing. Screw this place. I have waited over a month and now I have to wait even longer. To top it off, the price in store was almost a thousand dollars more than on THEIR website. So i did what anyone would do and went back to the store for price match. Well this so called "store manager" was being so rude and then when I mentioned that my father who just bought his couch online and got free shipping she proceeds to say "uh yeah free SHIPPING. not delivery!" PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ WHOLE RESPONSE. I will NEVER do business with this company again. We were given a damaged coffee table the 7th of December. We called and were told we could not have a replacement until after Christmas. I was then sent a replacement on the 28th of December and when the delivery drivers removed it from the box IT ALSO was damaged. They contacted the customer service along with taking pictures of the damage to send them. They put me on the phone with the agent and he apologized and said he would "make sure this one was taken out of rotation". I was appalled by that comment. I asked so when you have damaged merchandise you still try and deliver it to someone else? He said "it sometimes happens." I let him know that before delivering me my 3rd replacement I would like it to be opened and inspected PRIOR TO DELIVERY. He told me that he would "make sure" that was done. Guess what? 3rd one came and it was also damaged. The delivery drivers asked if they could give me advice? They said they would not even bother trying another time, there was obviously something wrong with the manufacturer. When they called customer service to let them know this also was damaged, the lady got on the phone with me and was very rude asking me if I was declining the delivery? I replied absolutely and I want this other one picked up from my house and request a refund. She responded by saying "you have to deal directly with the store" then she hung up. After numerous calls on my end the table was FINALLY picked up on the 23rd of January. Guess what today is the 30th and I am still waiting for my 400.00+refund. They could care less and said it will be at least 10 days and I should just keep checking back. The worst customer service and stall tactics to keep your money. I will follow through to check my refund status, then if there is still nothing, I will be on the attorney generals website and BBB although it sounds as though there are so many other negatives with this company they are probably overwhelmed. read more

I wanted to update my previous post about Ashley's furniture. 1st the bad news, I went to pick up my table and chairs believing one of my chairs was damaged and now on back order. When I got to the warehouse they brought out the box with my chairs, wanting to inspect the package to make sure nothing else was damaged, to my surprise all 4 chairs were there...when I questioned which chair is damaged, the lady helping me came over and informed me they needed to removed one of my chairs to give to another customer who had a damaged chair. and back order one for me. I was in total shock and refused to let me them take a chair... the lady said she had to...after asking for a manager, they called and let me keep the chair....this made zero sense.. Now the good news. I assembled the table and chairs, all parts were there. no damage and everything went together great. The product came out great. I also ordered and received my 2 lamps, again everything was great. For the actually products I bought, I am very satisfied with... price was great, quality was very nice... my issue was purely customer service or should I say poor customer service. Finally, today I got a call from a manager from the corporate office in Texas. He was reading my post from this site and traced my order down,,,,very surprising.. I told him my story especially the part at the warehouse and the not so damaged chair. He was in shock as well. I could tell that the corporate policy is very different then what the Tacoma store follows and this manager truly is concerned about their customers. Maybe this will help future customers and after this call maybe I will give them another chance... it says a lot that Ashley Corporate office cares enough to contact a customer in regards to a post. Good Customer Service is everything and people will pay more and return every time for it, something the local Northwest stores should learn... If I was rating the corporate office and purely the product this would be 5 stars but the service I got from the local store was a one star but I'm giving it 2 stars only because nothing was broke... read more

I'm completely ecstatic about the future I purchased, a new dark brown Darcy sofa and the Trishelle? I believe dining table with optional dark brown chairs. They are gorgeous and I cannot wait to get home to use the dining set. Hopefully, my couch will be delivered on Tuesday, which was supposed to be delivered today. : / The salesman Tim was wonderful even though I had him running around the store trying to find something I liked because what I had initially wanted was discontinued, but the dining set is perfect that he found for me. I didn't receive a phone call right away like they told me, which was excusable I called them to find out when delivery would be. The delivery was pushed back a day, perfectly understandable. BUT, today I've spent half the morning trying to get ahold of someone from the Tukwila store and either was hung up on or it just went to voice mail. My couch IS currently at the warehouse and arrived today, but for some reason they chose not to deliver it today. I am completely dissatisfied about this, which is why I'm only giving 3 stars. Luckily, a few of the customer service people I spoke with at the Tacoma location at least told me what was going on and attempted to assist me. Good furniture, bad delivery system! read more

It has taken me a little while to write this review so I hope the information is still accurate. My overall experience at Ashly was great and I've made purchases both times I've gone into this store. The most recent was a bit weird... I was in jeans and might have looked like I didn't have two pennies to rub together ( that's an exaggeration) so getting assistance was a little difficult. OR maybe the sales representatives don't want to crowd shoppers. I'll stick with that scenario. Initially, I was helped by a salesman who seemed rushed and distracted ... He passed me off to a really nice and easy going salesman by the name of Chris M. Chris took the time to make sure my ottoman matched the fabric of my chair and helped me finance my purchase for 90 days same as cash. When I go back next month to purchase my dining room furniture I WILL look for Chris. read more

First all, I purchased a sofa sectional from Ashely in October 2016. The salesperson said that the sectional could be purchased in a sofa and loveseat or two loveseat configuration also a right or left side. I showed her the picture in the catalog what I wanted, which was a sofa and right facing loveseat. I was told that it would be ready on October 25th, which was 3 weeks later. I didn't hear anything from the store that the item was ready, so I checked a week later to find out that it was already at the warehouse. I picked up the item a week later and after getting it home, only to realized they ordered the wrong configuration, the configuration was a left facing love seat. I called the store and they said that a right facing love seat would connect with the left facing love seat, because the left facing sofa would not fit in the room. So they ordered the right face love seat, and a week later they delivered the right facing love seat and the driver said that it wouldn't connect without a wedge. I contacted the store and they said the sofa didn't come with a wedge. They said they would order the right facing sofa and right facing love seat, also they would try to get it into the room. Two deliver attempts were schedule with the wrong piece, finally they told me the right configuration would be delivered the day after Christmas. I been sitting at home all day, I get a call around 1:25 PM that the driver would arrive in 15 min. Around 1:50 PM I received a call from the driver, that he couldn't find the house, I gave him instruction how to get here. Around 2:17 PM, I got another call that they still couldn't find it, so I texted him my address. No one showed at 2:45 PM, so I called the delivery number and waited on line for 12 min before I was able to speak with someone. I gave them my address and direction how to get here, they looked at it and tracked the right route. They said the driver will be here by 4:00 PM, and they would call me back. It's now 5:02 PM, still no delivery or phone call. This was furniture that I suppose to have for family visiting on Thanksgiving, now it's after Thanksgiving and Christmas, and still haven't received the right furniture and horrible delivery problems. I found the communication from the store poor. I called because I had not received any update on my delivery that i ordered 04/20/19. The delivery date they gave me was 05/18/19 due to one item being backordered. I called to check up on my order on 05/02/19 to see if there was any way that we could move this along as I really wanted my new furniture and was hoping something could be done. Person I spoke to said they would contact the warehouse and call me back. I called on 05/07/19 and they said they would schedule 2 deliveries and I could get a refund of my $200 + tax delivery fee but I have to come to the store which is not super close to get my refund. I asked if there was any way that I could get that refund without coming in and they said they would have to contact corporate and she would also email me that day with updated delivery information for my 3 items. Now on 05/11/19, I am calling back again because I have no email, corporate hasn't gotten back to them about refunding me without me coming in. This stores communication seems to only be on my side and not theirs. I have no faith in their ability to process orders without so much work on my side. read more

I wanted to give no stars, but you have to have something in that field! Went to Ashley Furniture today to look for a new bedroom suite. I saw that they were next to the new Chik-Fil-A, so I thought I would get something to drink before I went to look for furniture (it was hot and I was thirsty). The second I got out of my car I was approached by a VERY rude rent-a-cop who shouted I couldn't park there and to move my car. The parking was designated for Ashley Furniture and since I was going there, I was surprised by this. I tried to tell this to the man & he simply yelled "you can't park there it's not for Chik-Fil-A customers" WOW! Prior to the restaurant opening, there was hardly any cars in their lot. Every time I would pass the store I wondered if they were still in business but never stopped to check as I was not in the market for new furniture. It seems that the new place has brought more traffic and as a result more potential customers who, like me, thought the store was closed. I moved my car, got my drink and promptly left without going into the store. I did not want to even go in after the way the man handled the parking issue. Had he bothered to listen, Ashley would have had another customer. My original intention for this was to warn others that they needed to pay attention to the parking signs, so they could prevent being treated poorly. When I saw the reviews and pictures of the furniture and problems other customers have had, I am glad I changed my mind. If Ashley Furniture wants to draw customers, their customer service needs to start in the parking lot with their security guards. First impressions are EXTREMELY important, especially in sales. I certainly understand the need for traffic control but I feel that part of that should be LISTENING rather than running business away. read more

We walked in and were greeted right away. It was at first a promising experience. The first guy who greeted us, introduced us to Amber, who he said would be able to answer all our questions about bedroom furniture. She was nice and showed us a couple sets. Then, we asked to see more and she said, "ok well there are more downstairs." We asked if there was any more on the far side of the upstairs and she said, "oh those are fancy ones; they're more expensive, but I have more sets downstairs." My partner said informatively, "we want to see them anyway; you never talk about money unless you are asking for the sale." From that point on, I was pretty much done. Maybe I looked like I don't have any money to spend, but I made key points initially by stating that we are looking for a bedroom set and we are looking to invest. Now having been a sales person, never judge a book by its cover and if someone is looking to "invest" we're talking long term, something that is going to last 20+ years, we are willing to spend money $$$$$ to get quality. Maybe I should have worn a suit, I don't know, but when someone makes a bold accusation about my financial state, I'm just done. read more

I've been pretty lenient with this location...I'm very unhappy how the front desk associate as well as the "customer care" manager handled my situation. You would think if someone came in and paid CASH for their items they would be treated with dignity. This was not our first purchase at Ashley's, the first time was wonderful except for the fact the pieces were broken on my sons bed and parts were missing. I had to wait almost 2 extra weeks for delivery. This current purchase was a disaster. We purchased a couch, accent chair and entertainment center. They failed to inform us that our couch would not be coming the same day. So I called the store to get information on what was going on after we were told the of the exact day it would get there, the first representative I spoke to was so rude that I got fed up with speaking with her so I called back and asked for a manager. She was the same way. I'm pretty disgusted in Ashley's and probably will not shop with them ever again. They are not worth my money or time. Update (5/7/16): Our delivery drivers were very nice! I guess so much H*** raising worked because our couch came with the rest of our pieces. The delivery guys are awesome! However, I'm still very displeased with the customer service and reps at the store. read more
