I was so worried I would not have a place to sit with my family for weeks. She went out of her way knowing the situation we were in and asking her manager if we could leave with a couch today. So glad the manager understood our situation and allowing us to take a piece home today. Thank you Lisa and manager for the great customer service. Go see her y'all. We purchased a dresser today and left very happy! The customer representative who assisted us was Jaimie Pieri. She was pleasant and helpful. Jaimie had a good balance of assisting us as well as not hovering. Best part is while we looked she actually came around and recommended we look at a dresser we eventually purchased. I have mixed feelings about this store. But sadly their recent actions is what brought the star count down to 3, instead of 4. So my fiancé and I walk in to do some shopping, we need a few items for our new home and are looking to do some spending. Small eat-in kitchen table, entertainment center, office desk... eventually an upgrade to a kind bed, and a new dining room table as well. So, lots of potential money going into a good company. One of the sales clerks tracked us down as we were roaming, wasn't really a bother, but just wanted to check with us and also let us know that furniture was currently discounted. So to let her know what we were interested in and she'd get us a current price with discounts. This got our attention because we are in dire need of the desk and entertainment center quickly! We pick a few we like so she can price them, then wait patiently as she not only gets cost and time frame for delivery. First: She starts with delivery. "Looks like it'll be next week", this was a Wed or Thursday, so we were happy to hear this new! Second: Cost. We actually had to look at each other to figure out what change. We might have saved $20. Disappointing to say the least because the clerk had us hyped up, with the in-store discounts + military discounts, we were expecting at LEAST 20% off each piece we picked. Instead, it was more like 2% off each piece. While not thrilled, we did like the choices we made, and after online searching prior to shopping we knew we were at least getting a semi decent deal/cost compared to others. So we went ahead and made the purchase. Then (no more than 4 days later) we get a call from the sales clerk saying there had been a mistake and it would be yet another week before delivery could be accomplished. (hence the one less star) I'm a firm believer in what you promise the customer. If you say there will be a discount... I'd like to think it's a NOTICABLE discount. One that might even have the customer saying... "Wow! What a great deal!". And if you check the inventory/store and say, we'll deliver next week. Then, you should deliver next week, not 2 weeks later. We MIGHT return, but will be checking with other furniture companies first! read more

We ordered a new set of living room furniture through them last year. The salesman was very adamant about trying to help us find what we were looking for without resorting to being pushy about any of it. We also got a great warranty (5 years) along with a nudge and a wink when the salesman explained the warranty to us. Delivery was prompt (it took 2-3 weeks but it was delivered exactly when they said it would be). Prices on furniture is naturally going to be higher but Ashley isn't nearly as ludicrous as some of the other higher-quality names. The new location is very nice and they even have a station with several TVs and video game platforms set up for the kids. read more

He was very knowledgeable and patient as I'm pretty picky and gave me a great deal. the store was very clean, delivery guys were so nice. We got our sofa here and we love it. They delivered it they assembled it, it's a three-piece sofa, they took their time making sure it was placed exactly where I wanted it. The sales representatives in the store were very helpful and they provided cookies and water while we were looking around. Who can turn down free cookies? And my favorite part about it was it they weren't pushy and some of the other furniture stores that we looked at they were really pushy about some of the furniture this place was really laid-back and felt very welcoming. Why would you not hook up a person that is telling you that they are looking to drop around four grand at your store. I understand you have to make a profit but on a damaged and discontinued piece you give a guy a deal. You need to scratch a back once in awhile. I walked out the door and was astounded and angry. I purchased a dining room set on May 19th online. I paid in full online at the time of the purchase. They processed payment and then I received an email that the chairs and dining table will be delivered on two separate dates. We received the chairs within 2 weeks and given a 6 week date until the dining table would arrive. (June 30). My debit card expired within this month and I received no call nor an email that they were having problems processing the split payment..meanwhile I believed the product was paid in full and was on a delivery date so the thought didn't even cross my mind there was a payment issue. Well, this online company called the local company store in my hometown and I get a call the Monday before my delivery date and she says we have your table but you need to call a corporate number to get it to be delivered to you...I'm thinking ok? I call the corporate number on June 23rd and the customer representative tells me she not sure why the call she shows my delivery date June 30th the same as the email confirmation they had sent me. I then call back Ciara at my local store and tell her I am not certain what is going on here and why I am authorizing you to deliver ...she said let me call and find out and then call you back and let you know. She calls me back and tells me she is conferencing me in with finance...now I am thinking what is going on and feverishly trying to look back at my account to see if the item is paid for and see they credited back an amount and only processed payment for part of the order. The financial representative Megan sends me an email link and says she has to stay on the line until it processes. I entered my information and given a confirmation on email and her that everything was good. Next day Ciara calls me and tells me the table at her store is damaged and she can order a new one with another 6 week wait and use the damaged as a loaner. I decided this is unacceptable customer service and call the corporate line once again and Tavion answers and I explain the situation and say another 6 week wait is not good customer service and he sends me to a survey which I promptly gave a 1 (worst rating)...really that just happened. I call the customer service back again and explained to Ikyea what just happened that we got disconnected or I was transferred to a survey line. She told me she would put me on hold so from 1021 to 1045 am checking in every few minutes to talk to her escalation department...I asked her if she had a supervisor I can talk to after 5th check in and she told me how busy she was but hang on the line. I never talked to a supervisor nor an escalation department instead I was patched back in with Ciara again from my local store once again that the only solution was accept her loaner table and wait for the new table for another 6 weeks. Was this the only solution really...no other table available for delivery and I asked Ikyea so if this table doesn't arrive as expected I am now with chairs and no matching dining table? Well, the answer is yes because I can at my expense ship the chairs back but ONLY as a defect. The other takeaway was for personal service and issues it is best to order in store because better than online issues such as this? I have ordered all my furniture online through another company since 2007 and I will not order from Ashley again...if you do not have the items all at once why split ship it and now I am waiting for my table ordered May 19th until July....unacceptable along with the customer representatives whom refused to find a way to get a product to their customer ...the table being damaged was not in my control and the finance department could have been professional and emailed or called me for my new card information instead of calling a local store and having them call me to tell me to call corporate and Ciara nor I knew why and neither did the customer representative..completely unprofessional on all levels of this purchase! read more

I bought a mattress from Ashley Furniture back in 2013. The mattress was defective so I used my warranty to get a new mattress. The new mattress was also defective. It was a $1200 mattress and it was literally the biggest piece of crap. It looked like I made it myself! It was 5 different size pieces of foam glued together. The owner's son was very nice and let me exchange it for a different mattress. I picked out a different mattress and paid the difference in cost. I really thought that this mattress was going to be the ONE. I was wrong they sold me another defective mattress. The minute I got it, it started sinking in the middle. My advice to anyone who is shopping for a mattress, don't shop at Ashley Furniture. read more

Knew the piece that I wanted and walked in with cash. I had researched prices for the piece and the lady offered me a discount. The dresser at her discount was $75 more than what you could find it online for with free shipping. Seemed upset that I had researched it online and talked about their overhead. After more research all their furniture can be found online at least 10 to 20 percent cheaper. After more research Ashley also sells most of their pieces online at Amazon for an even bigger discount. read more

Poor product quality and horrible service. I have purchased furniture for my living room. The recliner couch I bought came with a failure mechanism. I have called service department like 10 times and visited their store several time to enquire about replacing mechanism. But, no response what so ever. Its been 2 months and still waiting to hear from them. I will never ever buy anything from these guys and will not recommend to anyone. read more

Never buy from this store!! They have horrible customer service. Their delivery barely made it in the 30 days then 3 tables were scratched and it will take another 4 weeks for delivery. This is a horrible business. Not to mention they ran my credit card wrong and double charged me I almost was unable to pay my rent. read more

We bought a love seat recliner in February 2012, They promised delivery the following week. The next week came and went, so I called the store to find out what was going on. They informed me that they only make drops to my area once a month and that it would be an additional four weeks before I got it. (First red flag) we didn't say a lot about it because the salesman expressed regret for the mistake. Then it October the recliner broke (we bought the additional four year repair plan) it took the store three weeks and one missed appointment to LOOK at the recliner. He had to order parts and would have them shipped to my house. December 7th the parts finally came in after two followup calls to the store. When we called to set up an appointment for the repairs they can't get to us until December 28, another three weeks. The recliner was bought ten months ago and we have had use of it for less than seven. They have no service, I plan on calling to have them come and pick it up and refund the money. We will see what the next step produces. read more
