Sales people were friendly. Website said we needed to make an appointment to visit the store but that was not true. They let anybody in. The store was not over-crowded so maybe they only check when capacity is an issue. The store has plenty of sales and a wide range of selections. I bought a couch in April 2021. I have had a problem with the armless recliner since we received it. I called about the issues in May/June 2021. No one came out to assess this issue they just said they ordered a part and when it arrives to call them and they'd send someone out. No part ever arrived and never was I kept updated. They closed the ticket and never informed me. I went in person to speak to a person in the store on Jan. 21, 2022. I spoke with a manager and explained the issues. He then sent an email to the service department specifically asking to have a technician come out and assess the furniture to see if it needed a part or if it needed replacing. I got a text from the service department asking for pictures of any damage or of the problem. I asked them if they would just send someone. They wrote back stating they needed pictures before the could start the service request. I informed them that there was no damage but it needed to be looked at before anyone could make a decision on a part. I sent them these attached pictures. I could not see what the specific thing was wrong in them how could they. The service department sent me a text saying they were ordering a part and I could call their 877 number for updates. I explained they did this 8 months ago and stated to them that a manager from the store requested an in person assessment. All they stated was they apologize. I'm so mad. I am at the point of canceling my store card and letting family and friends know to not ever use this company. Ordered a tempurpedic from the homestore in oxford ms in november...because I spent over 4k they offered a free gift which was a ps5...I thought it would be a nice gift for my son for christmas...upon delivery they refused to take my old mattress because it was not in a mattress bag...which they never said it had to be...they would not even give us time to go buy a bag from the haul store a block away...just dropped the mattress in the living room and left...to top it off I never received the free gift...calls to the store and they tell me to call elite rewards...elite rewards says call the store...for that amount of money I expected better service and will not be buying again. read more

Tip don't buy furniture from Ashley. I bought a new full Size bed and it was delivered today. This is there 5th time tring to deliver this bed and each time it has arrived damaged. This time the driver set it up and told me everything was good before I could check it he left. He also forged my signature saying I accepted it. I went to catch him and he said he noticed the damage and noted it on the ticket and left. ASHLEY is now say that because u accepted the bed all they can do is repair it. Having a horrible experience with communications, delivery and customer service call center. Receive emails from a no reply address only, calls go into a call center with an average 20 min wait time, all for call to dropped, no answer at the physical store, deliveries not occuring as confirmed. Understanding manufacturer and logistic issues during this covid time, I suggest Ashley try to excel in a true 'customer care' capacity. Decided to cancel my order and start over due to the poor service. If this is happening now, what would it be like if I need a service call or repair? I will NEVER purchase a single thing from Ashley HomeStore again. If I could give them 0 stars I would. My husband and I purchased a bed in store on 10/29. We specifically chose the one we did because it would be delivered quickly instead of the several month wait for most furniture. Our bed was delivered defective on 11/03. The bed wasn't even in our home for 10 minutes & we notified customer care. The delivery men were still here while we called. Customer care told us we would have to wait 7-14 days before the hardware was delivered & call back once it got there to schedule someone to assemble it. We immediately called the store & notified them. They said there was nothing that could be done since the item had been delivered into our home, but would make a note on our account for someone to contact us. We heard back from no one. After a week went by we followed up ourselves on 11/11 & spoke with customer care who was showing no notes on our accounts of previous calls or any service orders. She said that she was going to place a new order & the missing pieces would be delivered within 7 days. 7 days later, no hardware, no follow up, nothing. We call back & after being on hold for 10 minutes finally reach someone who says they do so an order on 11/11 and they'll check on the status. She puts us on hold for 10+ minutes only to terminate the call. We call back, explain the issue again & explain that the previous person hung up on us. This guy says he'll check on the status of the replacement parts & puts us on hold again. 10+ minutes later & the call is terminated AGAIN. We call back a third time & after being on hold we finally reach someone who tells us that not only will the hardware not be here in 7 days, but it won't be here until JANUARY. At this point, this disassembled, defective product has been sitting in pieces on our bedroom floor for 2 weeks & now we are going to have to wait another 2.5 months minimum before the pieces arrive. We requested that they schedule the bed to be removed from our home & our account refunded for the amount. She tells me that we have to call the store we made the purchase in. We call the store & ask to speak to the store manager, but are told he's in an interview. We explain our issue to the woman on the phone who to no surprise tells us that the store can do nothing & that we have to reach back out to customer care. We let them know we've already spoken to customer care who said we had to go through them for the refund. We're then directed to the warehouse because they have to approve refunds? Makes no sense at all to me, but maybe we'll finally get someone to resolve our issue instead of bouncing us around. We call the warehouse with the number to store provides & request to speak with a supervisor. The man who answers refuses to transfer us & instead wants to relay messages back & forth. He tells us the only solution is to be credited the amount of the bed & purchase a new one. So now we are looking at several more months without a bed. We ask again to speak to a supervisor & he again refuses to transfer us so we requested the number to corporate. We call the number to corporate to immediately be transferred to a different person. We explained our issue again & requested that the defective bed be removed & we be refunded. He calls the store & after more time on hold tells us that the only solution is store credit & then transfers me to another lady who can "explain it better." This lady tells me Ashley doesn't have a return policy. A blatant lie as it's clear as day on the website. She then tells me that not only is the only solution to be given store credit for the purchase of the original bed, but the bed has been discontinued so we have to go back into the store & start this bs process all over again. We told her we did not want the credit, we wanted the bed removed & a refund. She again tells me they don't do returns and that's the only solution. Stay far far away from Ashley HomeStore. We had such a great experience with this store. We bought a condo in the area and needed to furnish it in a hurry. To complicate things, we aren't local at all, so we needed to coordinate all of it remotely. Jacob Goolsby, the store manager, was incredible. He took lots of time with me over the phone to get everything ordered and ensure things would be delivered on time. I had to reach out to him about delivery coordination and some changes, and he was always readily available to help. I purchased a recliner the first tweek of December, tore up after 10 days, and started the warranty . What a joke! You have to text pictures to them with all of your sales information. Did that didn't hear anything back after a week! I resent the text, and two days later, they stated they would order the part and it would be two or three weeks before the part would come in. So I called the store 3 times and it took a week for a manager to call me back offerd no solutions, call me back to say sorry. This was all in December, in the middle of January I call them back and said the part was on order, so now the first payment is due so I asked for a replacement, they said I had to wait for a repair. The part arrived at my house around the first of February, I send an email after it's been here for a week and they stated they would get back with on a date for the repair. Today 2/15 I received a text saying they need pictures of the problem so they could start working on the claim! I informed them all the information with pictures was sent the 2nd week in December. I informed the of the last email and that the part had been at my house for 2 weeks and I can't get a date for the repair ! So now I have a date the middle of March. Went in to the Southaven store on Feb 26th. White guy passed us off to the the black guy. That's ok. I asked why. The answer was " He felt it was a better fit for us and the sale'" COOL!!! Placed the order. The sectional came first. It was ok but the chaise was on the wrong side. The table arrived 3 days later in a box. It was delivered to the wrong address even after we alerted them that the wrong address was on the paperwork and it as too big. Called the store. We were advised to call Guest Services. Have been trying for the last four days to get someone on the phone. The one day that we did get someone on the phone 1. we were told there was no refund on the table we didn't want and 2. we were put on hold to speak with a manager that never came on line after holding for 45 minutes. The guest service rep hug up. This is bad business and we will never buy anything from Ashley Furniture again while advising everyone we know to NEVER BUY anything. If there id no return, customers should be told. I guess then that would hurt sales. So why tell when it hurts Ashley's bottom line. We could have cancelled the order before delivery!! read more

I would like to start off by saying forged signature !!!! I was waiting with my daughter as the delivery guys pulled up at 9:16 AM left at 9:40 AM. Never asked her to sign a piece of paper or even showed us a piece of paper to sign saying we received the furniture left in such a hurry. We didn't even have time to walk in her room to look at the furniture! And I understand why The furniture was messed up busted the boxspring was even broken in a lot of spots with holes in it. The only thing that was OK was the mattress and the nightstand, so headboard, footboard lingerie, chest boxspring all messed up! We had to wait till 10 AM to call. We tried to call the store itself but got told we needed to call the service people which I did and was told that the pictures that the delivery guy sent them it didn't look like there was nothing wrong with the furniture at all so if you see their pictures and their pictures I would say from the angles they took at the furniture, looked great, and then said that we had to wait to hear back from our service tech to find out when they could come out and try to repair the furniture! This was my daughter's first big purchase And she was so excited until this happened . Then service tech said that they could only get somebody out by February 9 so my daughter has to sleep on a broken boxspring and have busted up furniture and I know what that means when he comes out he's gonna look and say it can't be fixed now she'll have to wait on them to even get her another one in there and hope this shit don't happen again, I do not I repeat do not recommend Ashley furniture because you can't deal with them directly you deal with some service tech and delivery people that's not held accountable and you're left with busted furniture to deal with!! crappy crappy service would give it a 0 read more

They say it's on sale then after they done tan your credit say well if you get it on credit you have to do regular price when the whole time your topic and discussion was around credit so why not say that in the beginning they dont want to add match website like they say and they tricked me into getting a store card instead of synchoney bank so I could only shop in store and not online which they don't tell you. As much as I enjoyed our in-store experience, the headache of the delivery afterwards is what gives this a 1 star. Our furniture was supposed to be delivered yesterday between 3:30-6:30. At 7pm it was still not there and when I called, I was told it wouldn't be at our home until 11pm but that it would be delivered that evening. My husband and I stayed up until midnight waiting, they never showed and never called to tell us they weren't coming (we couldn't call them because the only number they give out to the Guest Care Center closes at 7pm). We called first thing this morning and they basically told us they would "try to work us in" but they couldn't give me any sort of time frame. There was no apology, no trying to make it right. After my husband and I both called multiple times and were given the run-around, my mother-in-law actually went up to the store where they FINALLY gave us a time for this evening. We are stop number 16 so I am not hopeful that it will be delivered today. This is by far the worst customer service I have EVER received and I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. **Updated to add that our furniture did come on Friday, even though the time they gave us was between 4:45-7:30 and they called at 3:00 to say they were on the way to our home. Purchased this couch from this store and they would not replace the couch nor did the warranty we purchased cover it. Finally getting it repaired and you can see why it broke. It was built to break. My experience at Ashley furniture in Southaven, MS was completely awful . I guess I'll start first with my sales floor representative . She was really sweet but this woman ran my credit 10-12 times without me knowing . I thought to myself what is taking so long . Finally I got up and asked her what's taking so long. This lady has a sheet of typing paper with each borrower she applied for on my behalf for my furniture. I asked her why would you run my credit that many times. She tells me I was just trying to get you the best deal. I was really pissed but at this point I was already there and had my mind set on this lovely section that was mark 20% off . I was told by the sales floor representative that because of covid, things have been slowed down and I should expect my furniture in about 2 months. Well furniture took forever and not to mention the chaise had a run in it. I called and emailed several different people. Asked to be compensated for my inconvenience and I was told I already had a discount. Here's a time line on how Ashley furniture handles people who spends money with their company 8/15 ordered $2,000 sectional couch 12/12 delivery of the couch 12/29 emailed service ticket about run on the chaise 1/19 called customer service to tell them I emailed a service ticket and haven't heard anything back . Customer service fell asleep on me several times during my call and didn't make any notes on my account about the run. He told me that a someone will be scheduled to come out on 1/26 and look at the couch. Of course no one showed up because he didn't make the notes. 2/6 at this point I was fed up and I went to Ashley furniture in Southaven,MS. The Manager tells me that he does not handle service tickets and he could get me on the phone with some about it. I talk to a Customer service representative and was told that she would put a order in for a couch cover and cushion for the chaise. She said that a couch cover would be sent to my address and the warehouse would receive the couch cushion and then someone will reach back out to me to come and put it together 2/15 Received a couch cover 3/15 talked to 3 different customer representatives to try and figure out when the couch cushion would be expected. 1st representative was rude would not let me talk to a manager 2nd representative placed me hold while trying to get me to a manager on the phone and the phone mysteriously hung up and she did not return the call . 3rd representative got me to a manager and the Manager went through a whole spill of apologies but could not compensate me on any of my inconveniences because I received a 20% discount in the store. She also told me that she don't know why the cushion has not made it to the warehouse but she'll expedite a email to the service department and have someone to response to the email in 2-3 days . Of course I heard nothing for another month or so 4/27 got a automated call about setting up a appointment so they could come and put the new cushion and couch cover together for my chaise . 5/1 service guy showed up with no cushion . He was very polite but the fact of the matter is , I've been waiting on a couch cushion for months and your service guy shows up empty handed. I'm grateful that at least they sent out the couch covering to my place. I insisted on him just changing it out and I'll contact Ashley about the matter. Whole experience was unprofessional. I will NEVER buy furniture from Ashley again. Kevin & Kena sold me a protection plan that WE NEVER DISCUSSED NOR DID I AGREE TOO. Not only was it a protection plan but it was for OUTDOOR FURNITURE-reference the pictures I took- I NEVER PURCHASED OUTDOOR FURNITURE. Their furniture came damaged and dirty...nothing like pictures I took in the store of their display furniture. A mattress was brought opened and dirty to my home. The delivery guys told me to leave it because Ashley would pick it up with next delivery.. now Kevin, the manager, refers me back to customer service and refuses to take the mattress back because I called him out concerning his integrity. The people I've encountered here seem to have integrity of Satan himself...NONEXISTENT. I will post how they delivered the furniture damaged. They lie and don't care once they make the sale. Beds damaged, dirty, no bracket (still leaning against wall in my bedroom), mold looking stuff, dirty with dog looking hair. Look at how filthy the paper towel was after trying to clean the Realyn headboard-no footboard because nothing ships together or its either broken or dirty. Langford beds had no bracket and other one damaged. The 2nd console (REPLACEMENT) they delivered was DAMAGED too. I've literally heard from customer service 30-40X Probably. The original post was regarding a sales rep, Jennifer B., who was kind to assist me with my purchase from another location tWhen I returned to the Southaven store today the Jennifer was extremely unprofessional and has further made me no longer want to do business with either the Southaven or the Memphis location. Never in my life have I experienced the unprofessionalism that I experienced today which I would consider financial bashing. I would suggest in the future if employees are talking on the store radios that they ensure that a client is unable to hear what they disclose!!!!!!!! I have mixed feelings. The furniture I bought is great. The sales woman (Aerial) was communicative. However, through no fault of hers I was given 4 different arrival dates on my furniture. Additionally, when I went to pick it up from the Air Trans drive warehouse the guy I dealt with was racist. He was friendly enough and talkative with the black customers but when it was my turn I didn't even get acknowledged when I thanked him. I will never purchase anything from Ashley Home Store, ever again. I had just moved into a new apartment, and bought a very expensive bedroom set. When the delivery people showed up, they brought the wrong headboard. Then, when bringing in the dresser, they put a deep hole in our new walls and continued bringing furniture in without acknowledging the damage. They told us they had to leave our FOOTBOARD and dresser here and took everything else back. Beth, the sales lady at the Southhaven store, would not return any calls or emails. Finally, she emailed days later and said she corrected the order and placed it for the next week. We received the wrong headboard and rails.... AGAIN. Once again, no help from anyone, and they refused our request to return the furniture that we were TOLD had to stay here. Now we are stuck with no bed, only a very expensive and unwanted footboard and dresser... Still trying to get in touch with someone. So far so good. Our buying experience was a good one. Our sales person, Barbara Dowell, was well acquainted with the merchandise features and benefits and options that were available. She also helped us to order a coffee and end table set that we had seen online but wasn't currently available at the store. When it came down to the close of the sale, I told her what we would accept and she delivered. Our delivery date was about 2 1/2 weeks but that worked well for us since we are painting and having new floors installed. We where in the process of buying a home, we informed the sales person of that from the beginning. We paid over 10k cash for our furniture which included "master bedroom set, 3 kid full size bed sets, dinning room set, kitchen pub table, living room set, and a entertainment center". This was in August. In September when all of our furniture came in "Wife verified that everything was in", they called to set up a delivery date unfortunately we had not closed on our house yet so we asked them to keep it at the warehouse until a later date. Here it is October we closed on the house and called Ashley's to schedule a delivery. What we got on delivery day was "all the master pieces, 3 kid full beds, one dresser, 3 mirrors, two night stands for the kids room," 5 dining room chairs no table and one chair missing, pub table, living room set, and entertainment center". Evidently they sold the other pieces to others and had to order our pieces again. Now our dining room table has been back ordered and we probably have to get another one. Who gives them the right to sell something that's already been paid for in cash. The sales women was great that's why I gave it a star. read more

Went in Ashley Furniture on 8/29/2016 about an hour before they were supposed to close. Mrs Eliza Jones was my sales consultant. They were very patient and willing to work with me as I was very demanding About what I wanted to purchase . Me and my family were very pleased with the customer service and the help we received. We've made changes to our order and still have a great delivery date. We will definitely make this our home store driving from Marion, Ar. We purchased a few items last weekend. Terry Moore was so very helpful and knowledgeable. He approached us as soon as we came in the store and offered to help. However, he wasn't pushy and gave us the opportunity to explore different options on our own. He readily answered questions and helped us pick out some great pieces. We had our children with us, as we were picking out some items for their rooms. He was very patient with them and us. He really made it a pleasurable shopping experience.
