    Armless recliner

    I bought a couch in April 2021. I have had a problem with the armless recliner since we received it. I called about the issues in May/June 2021. No one came out to assess this issue they just said they ordered a part and when it arrives to call them and they'd send someone out. No part ever arrived and never was I kept updated. They closed the ticket and never informed me. I went in person to speak to a person in the store on Jan. 21, 2022. I spoke with a manager and explained the issues. He then sent an email to the service department specifically asking to have a technician come out and assess the furniture to see if it needed a part or if it needed replacing. I got a text from the service department asking for pictures of any damage or of the problem. I asked them if they would just send someone. They wrote back stating they needed pictures before the could start the service request. I informed them that there was no damage but it needed to be looked at before anyone could make a decision on a part. I sent them these attached pictures. I could not see what the specific thing was wrong in them how could they. The service department sent me a text saying they were ordering a part and I could call their 877 number for updates. I explained they did this 8 months ago and stated to them that a manager from the store requested an in person assessment. All they stated was they apologize. I'm so mad. I am at the point of canceling my store card and letting family and friends know to not ever use this company. Like anything else if you take care of your customers, your customers will take care of you.

    The bed

    Tip don't buy furniture from Ashley. I bought a new full Size bed and it was delivered today. This is there 5th time tring to deliver this bed and each time it has arrived damaged. This time the driver set it up and told me everything was good before I could check it he left. He also forged my signature saying I accepted it. I went to catch him and he said he noticed the damage and noted it on the ticket and left. ASHLEY is now say that because u accepted the bed all they can do is repair it. Excuse me I didn't purchase refurbished furniture. They also left trash behind and did not install hardware or mattress cover like they were supposed to. Stay clear of Ashley Furniture!!

I'm involved because I'm the one that's paying for them, a house warming gift since my brother didn't have a set. He lives in Tupelo MS and drove all the way to Memphis TN to get what he thought was a great deal. He drove up on Monday 8/26/2019. It took about 3 hours to get the paperwork and purchase made with a promise to deliver the washer & dryer on Wednesday 8/28/2019. Received a text to confirm the Wednesday delivery and it was confirmed. They never showed up as promised and when contacted Conn's we didn't receive a reply until Thursday after contacting them again. Conn's replied that the delivery was never scheduled according to the rep that said they spoke to their manager and that was the answer that they received. Their manager allegedly notified corporate of the fail to schedule a delivery and failure to deliver as promised, but has now allegedly scheduled a delivery for Saturday 8/31/2019 Conn's delivery truck actually showed up unannounced on Friday morning 8/29/2019 with a washer & dryer. However, they delivered the wrong dryer, it wasn't the one we purchased. Now after calling again, we were told that we couldn't get the correct dryer until this incorrect dryer is returned back to the store/warehouse and my brother has to drive back to Memphis on Saturday to "reorder" a dryer and wait again for it to be delivered. Very unprofessional, lack of customer service, lack of customer appreciation, and lack of customer care. It appears that they just want your money and can careless to keep a loyal customer.

    In the past several months I've had a lot of stuff around my house that had to be taken care of…read more One of those things was to install a new water treatment system (septic) system, that left my backyard a nightmare--it would need a lot of dirt, along with spreading and leveling it. A change in homeowners insurance required that I get it taken care of, and NOW. I started looking online for suppliers and prices. The first one up was a big box supplier that had their prices listed online. But I wasn't sure how much dirt I would need to do the job. A couple more lines down the search results was Backyard Landscape. When I saw the location, I realized I had driven by the place several times and had been curious about them. Now was my chance to find out what they were about. When I called I immediately noticed two things--first, they actually answer the phone, and two the person who answered was very pleasant. Good start! I explained my situation, and when I told Tony the big box price he said, "I can get you three times that amount of dirt for the same price." Yeah, I was stunned! Then he quoted me a price to come out, spread it, and level it. He also told me he would be the one actually doing the work. Another point in their favor--no worries about trying to explain something to another person down the chain in the company. When could they do it? Tony understood this was related to keeping my insurance coverage, so he didn't want to make a promise he couldn't keep. He told me he would check with his supplier for the dirt, verify the schedule, and call me back. That was where Backyard Landscape really came through for me. Tony called me back, when he said he would, and gave me a firm date to both deliver and spread the dirt. And it was just three business days from the day I first called. And that is EXACTLY what they did. All promises were kept and on time! The work looks great. As I said my yard was a mess full of sink holes, tire tracks, ruts, and hardly passable. Now it is filled in, smooth, and Tony even took care of leveling the dirt just the way I wanted around a couple of trees in the backyard. It was only then that he asked for payment. It was also then that I found out Tony was the OWNER of the company. To say I'm pleased is an understatement. I've already asked Tony to estimate what some gravel work would cost, and intend to get quotes on sod to finish off the backyard. I've found a company I both highly recommend and intend to use in the future. NOTE: I have posted a few photos showing what the backyard looked like right after the new water treatment system was installed in January, and what it looks like after Tony did the work. (It looked even better before it rained--within a couple of hours of Tony finishing the work!) I wish I had some pics of how it looked right before Tony did the work--between January and May several sink holes had opened up, ground had settled and so on. Because as bad as the photos from January look, it looked even worse before Tony got started!

    I almost never write reviews, but this experience deserves one. I walked into Rooms To Go in…read moreSouthaven with a very specific sectional in mind--size, shape, and comfort for my long legs. Within minutes, sales pro Fred Kieffer was pulling up options on his iPad and guiding me straight to a sectional that felt like it came out of my head. Only snag? The color was "mint green", but my eyes saw a gorgeous gray-blue - which is what I wanted. Fred explained the lighting was being upgraded to avoid color confusion but I trust what I saw. We looked at other pieces, yet I kept coming back to that sectional. Fred never pushed, never rushed--just stayed helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. I bought the cusotmized sectional on the spot three days ago. Delivery came right on schedule today: three courteous pros set everything up perfectly and were gone in minutes. If you need furniture, go to Rooms To Go and ask for Fred Kieffer (Southaven location). He turned a stressful search into the easiest, most satisfying purchase I've made all year. Nothing wrong with them so now I'm out all that money because they are in my possession. I'll never buy from them again. They also said the chairs are real wood. Absolut lie. Wood grain doesn't look like these chairs.
