I cannot put into words how unbelievably upset I am at the customer service I have received from this particular location. I ordered a couch, the Owensbe sectional, from them early last year and upon receiving the couch, I immediately realized that the chase was on the incorrect side. I called and spoke with the associate, Crystal, that sold me the furniture and she stated that at that time, the couch was completely out of stock for the foreseeable future and that she would contact me as soon as the couch came back in stock. Two months had gone by and I began to notice that the chase that was delivered to me incorrectly was ALSO damaged. I payed the extra amount to have the 5 year warranty so without thinking twice, I called the number given to me to get that addressed. A technician came out and tried to fix the couch but was unable to with the tools he had so they delivered a brand new chase...but keep in mind that the couch is still incorrect!!! I waited a few months and still had not heard anything. I tried calling towards the end of July 2016 and after 4 days of trying to get in touch with the store manager, I gave up. I accepted the fact that I would just have to wait to hear back from them and for the time being just deal with the couch I did not pay for. I'm now in need for some more furniture and still have not gotten my couch replaced with the correct chase. For the past 5 days I've been trying to get in touch with the store manager and was FINALLY able to speak with him. His name is Frank and he told me that he would look into the matter and get back to me that day if not by the following morning. The following day, TODAY, at 12:00pm I still had not heard from him so I called and he was in a meeting...which is what they always say!!! I mean how many meetings can they be in in a given day. He called back around 1:00pm and I had just missed his call so I called right back and guess what??? He was in a meeting again. I eventually spoke with him around 3:30pm and he explained to me that they would not be able to help me because the associate that sold me the couch did not put in any notes. Now get this, the office manager Aaron told me this past weekend when I first started trying to get ahold of Frank that she wouldn't be surprised if the associate didn't put in the notes because she was never good at her job anyways and that's why she was fired. Not only was that unprofessional for the office manager to tell me but that explained why the associate didn't put in the notes to begin with, because she didn't do her job right. Frank asked why I hadn't called and requested the correct couch when that's exactly what I did! He asked why I hadn't mentioned it when I had the chase fixed 2 months after receiving the couch but what he couldn't understand is that at that time I was under the assumption that they would contact me when they had it in stock. But I wasn't about to have an incorrect couch that didn't fit right in my living room and also have it be damaged. He was extremely rude, kept cutting me off and saying that he needed to end the discussion so that he may attend to customers in the store...am I not a customer?! He would not listen to what I had to say and clearly had already made his mind up that he was not going to help me. In fact, it came across as if he was trying to find every reason not to help me. At this time I am at a loss and hope to get the situation resolved. All I want is to get the couch I payed for. But for those reading this review, please do yourself an enormous favor and go to a different Ashley's. I love their furniture and I am going to have to get more pretty soon but I will avoid going to this location and I urge everyone else to do the same. read more
