We purchased a sectional right after thanksgiving. We fell in love with it on the show room floor. We had it delivered and set up. Sadly within a month the cushions started breaking down and the ink from the stickers under the cushions transferred onto our cushions. He had a repair guy come out because we thought the springs were bad but come to find out it was how they were designed. We took a cushion in along with a pillow and noticed that the cushions we had weren't the same as the ones one the showroom floor. Also our pillows were stuffed with down and were like pancakes. The pillows on the showroom floor were fluffy and filled with pollyfill. Since then they offered to fix the problem. First sending us pollyfill to stuff the cushions and another box to stuff the pillows. But the pillows also needed casings to hold the Pollyfill. So since they couldn't order the casings they said they would just order us new pillows. After waiting over a month we call back and were told they couldn't order new pillows or new casings. Our first call was in February and now it's the last week in June and this still hasn't been resolved. We just want what we originally purchased when we went and picked out our sectional. Now we are left with a sectional that is stained from the factory stickers and a lower quality of cushions also down pillows that are hard and flat. Definitely not what we picked out and saw on the showroom floor. Very disappointed. Buyers beware. The customer service is seriously lacking. Make sure you get what you purchased and make sure to get everything in writing if they promise to fix or order replacements. read more

You know sometimes things just don't turn out as they should, but it helps a lot when everyone pulls together to make things right. With the help of Stephanie, the store supervisor, our salesman Mukesh and the corporate office we resolved all the issues and are now enjoying our beautiful furniture. We knew when we purchased our sectional that it was going to be on back order due to cut backs at the factory from COVID. But we loved the quality, color and features of the set and we were willing to wait. We did not expect to only receive half the order 2 months later however and then another 3 months for the final piece! We were given a $100 gift card from corporate for having to wait and offered a 10% rebate from the store manager when the set was complete! Sadly I had not noticed that the wedge piece was assembled wrong at delivery, until the final piece came. The call to the store was routed to Corporate and they were very understanding about it but said they could not get a tech out for a few weeks! Stephanie stepped in and got someone out in a few days! I shop at this store often, my favorite home furnishing store. I have shopped around at other stores and have not been able to find as much as I do at Ashley's home store. I have five rooms that are furnished by them. The furniture is sturdy and well-made along with beautiful. When People come to my house they always rave on how beautiful my home looks. I cannot walk into the store without finding something that I would love in my home. There is one downfall to the store that I am not particularly ecstatic with when I go shopping there, and that is the sales people jump on the customers and don't even give you a chance to look around. There is one sales person that I would recommend hands down and his name is Bobby! He is by far the best sales person I have ever interacted with, and on my last two purchases I have dealt with him and on future purchases I will also deal with him as long as he is working there. Somehow he allows you to look and he is always in the background without you knowing. A technique that I like! My husband and I are allowed to look around and talk to each other regarding pieces of furniture and when we are ready he knows which furniture pieces we have been looking at and is ready for any questions that we may have for him. He is quite well informed on the furniture pricing and availability. He is patient and honest another trait that I like. We were just there the other day looking for a spare bedroom set and we were looking at one specific set and he showed me another set that he felt that I would like much better and boy was he right that was the set we purchased. So I say anytime anybody need's some furniture I would recommend Ashley's in Palmdale California and I would also recommend Bobby as their sales person!!! As I was thinking about my interaction with the people at Ashley's there is a manager at there by the name of Chris. He was very helpful in getting us into our master bedroom set. He gave us a very good deal a deal we couldn't pass up, hence that's why we bought it. Chris is easy to talk to and he is very personable. We got to talking and he also helped me with a personal issue And gave me a recommendation. That's how personable he is! I do not recommend this place. Terrible customer service , horrible follow up by entire staff. We purchased a very expensive bedroom set, so far we have had nothing but trouble with door hinges and drawer sliders. I called in to take advantage of our warranty we paid for. So as of January 2017 we are still waiting for our hinge replacement. Jag the manager is still clueless. Do dot shop here, do your do diligence and check reviews left by other folks. Around 45 days ago I was at Ashley's buying a living room set. It arrived about a month ago and within the first day, two of the 4 piece set were broken. We called the store who said we needed to call the repair people so we did. The repair people came out and fixed the coffee table but not the couch. I put in a separate ticket for the couch and the same repair person came out and said he needed to order a part and then come out again. At this point the coffee table broke again in the same place it was repaired and I still have two broken pieces of furniture. I contacted the store seeking to return them as they are neither functioning. The manager of the store claims I should have contacted the store right after I received the order despite when I did they said I needed to go through the repair people. I would not recommend this store to anyone for any purchase unless hey want substandard furniture and poor customer support. read more

Horrible experience. I have been to four furniture stores the past two days comparison shopping around for just an inexpensive bed frame. I had a printed flyer they handed me for 50% off. The cheapest queen bed was $499 he said 50% off was $299. First, that math is embarrassing. Second, that bed wasn't worth it even if his math would have been correct. When the car-salesman-esque employee finds out I'm not going for it and his commission won't be high he goes from "friendly vulture" to "you don't matter to me". Then I still try to buy an accessory that was in their clearance section. A vase set sold as is for $6. No one would check me out! The woman in front of the register refused to ring me up and had to call over and over to the original vulture who first saw me. When he finally came he was upset he had to handle my small purchase. Then tried to make me fill out paperwork with my personal info for me to buy a $6 vase set!!!! I said I didn't want to and they said I have to or I can't buy the $6 friggin vase! (Name, address, phone, email) When I finally said this is ridiculous I'm not doing that, they acted like I wasted their time! Not as if mine was just wasted! But, to my surprise I am extremely happy with my purchase and the service from beginning to end. My sales person Sergio was a great salesman that was very patient and explained everything in detail. Good furniture, good sales and delivery, LOUSY after service even with purchase of 5 yr. home premium protection plan. Of four recliners purchased from different stores over the years this is the best so far, just one little thing to make it great. Simple problem, the slow close batwing type hinges on the arm cabinets are so stiff I have to use both hands to open them so I can use the storage space. The chair in the store didn't have this problem. I couldn't find any info online to loosen them so called Ashley, explained the problem, was immediately switched to tech support, explained the problem and asked for a home remedy that wouldn't violate the warranty, was told they would have to make an appt. to send a service tech. free of charge to fix the problem. TWO WEEKS later the service tech arrived to say there is nothing he can do, the chair is new and the hinges will loosen up with use. Uh, if I can't lift the cabinet top as I sit in the chair then how will they loosen up? Sorry, he can't do anything about it. Why didn't the service techs say something? He didn't know. Poor guy was stuck, not being able to fix factory installed devices, not being able to replace them because they worked...sort of. Phone techs either lied or don't know their business or don't care, take your pick. Don't bother asking about a battery pack to operate the chair in case of a power outage, they don't sell them and won't say what kind is best for their chairs. Phone techs, though polite as all get-out, are as useless as tits on a bull. read more

I'll begin this review with the cliché of "if I could leave zero stars I would." I've been personally buying furniture from Ashley since 2014. Purchased a mattress, entire bedroom set, massive couch, dining tables and end tables over the years. About two weeks ago, one of the arms on our couch was collapsed, which was our fault. We strolled into Ashley to pick up three things: a two seat sofa, and two recliners. Our sales experience wasn't the best (a lot of hovering of salespeople, a pointless pitch on buying a new mattress, etc) but ultimately, we got what we needed at a decent price. We were told that our delivery would have to be split, as the two recliners needed to be shipped from North Carolina. The sofa came quick and was delivered professionally. Two days ago, we were surprised to be scheduling a drop off of BOTH recliners for today, 12/29. On the 28th, we were called and told we'd need to cancel the order because one chair wasn't available until 12/30. We argued and got one delivered on the 29th, and accepted the fact that the 2nd one would get here on the 30th. Here we are, 7 pm on the 29th being told that our recliner was on back order until 1/3/18. Keep in mind, the salesman promised that both recliners would come together as they were both in the same stock status. Fast forward to my wife and I being hung up on 5 Times, jockeyed between our local store and corporate, and being treated with nothing but attitude and disrespect. This company does not care to address your problem, but instead would rather pass the buck. The local Palmdale store is full of dishonest salespeople who could learn a lesson in writing checks their mouths can't cash. Bottom line: STAY AWAY. Both local stores and corporate structure are absolutely horrendous. My biggest regret is that we didn't shop one of the local businesses in the area. I'm considering cancelling my orders just to be rid of these jackasses. read more

Okay, I'm really not sure which store I contacted, being that I ordered online. However, I googled the 800-240-3440 number that I called regarding my order. After waiting 6+ minutes for a rep to answer. A Rep finally got online she then transfers me to the online purchase customer service. I was confused because I called the number noted on my purchase receipt. So here I am on hold again. I can't hang up because I don't want them delivering the remaining items on my order. They were supposed to call me before delivering. But no, they just delivered to a home in a remote area with only one neighbor surrounded by vineyards and orchards. There is a reason why we asked to be contacted prior to delivery! So we can be home!!!!! So I am still waiting to find out how many items delivered. I am so frustrated with the lack of care this company has for their customer... First and last. read more

Don't believe any stories they tell you about customer service or when your purchase will be delivered. I ordered a 3 piece sectional on 7/15 and paid a pretty penny for it. They said due to Covid it would not be delivered until 8/27. I said okay, since a lot of things are delayed these days. They said they would confirm 2 days before delivery. No one called so I had to call and they told me it would not arrive until 9/3. Again they said they would confirm. I received robot calls on 8/31 and 9/1 confirming delivery on 9/3. I also got a call from a person that confirmed the delivery would be between 1:15 and 5:15 and I agreed to be present. I got another call on 9/2 stating I had to confirm that time again. I did. On 9/3 I received a call at mid day stating the time was moved to 3:30 to 7:30 pm; I confirmed I would still be here. Then......... nothing! No call, no delivery, nothing! and no one would answer the phone either regarding my delivery, saying offices were closed. Today, I called at 8 a.m. - I had to be transferred several times - they said the escalation dept would call me. A lady did call this morning to say they had to rescan the sectional into the warehouse when they didn't deliver it and now it would be several days before they can get it out to me. She said there was no reason for it not to be delivered yesterday and she understood why I was upset - finally she agreed to try to get it delivered tomorrow and she would call me back to let me know. Hours later I am still waiting for a call and no matter where I call, no one seems to be able to get that darn sectional on a truck tomorrow! Everyone wants to pass me off to someone else and no one has any authority to do anything!!! I will never purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley! read more

This review is based on my experience at Ashley's compared to a same day experience at Ross furniture on Ave K in Lancaster. At Ross, the owner David, treated me like crap. I bought something the day before which he said I could return if it didn't work out. It didn't but when I tried to return the item. he refused to help me move it back into the store, then he refused to let me return it at all. He was rude and aggressive. My autistic son was with me and I was surprised that an owner of a business would act like that towards any customer, let alone a woman, but more surprised that he would act like that in front of a disabled child. Maybe he doesn't like women or the disabled??? I left Ross and went to Ashley's. At Ashley's, Vernin spent about 1 hour with me and my child, even though I told him I was just getting ideas for my son's room and for my living room, and that I wasn't buying today. He treated my son exceptionally well, and he was very patient with us. I left with a ton of ideas but more importantly I left feeling happier than when I walked in after the terrible experience at Ross furniture. On 8/26/2018 Me and my family went to a few furniture store by my area and experience real bad customer service. I suffer from severe back and knee pain due to a previous injury.I recently purchase sofa and mattress from a previous store about 4 months ago and spent thousands of dollars the salesman said it was the best for my back pain so we purchase them and within days I felt severe discomfort and when I tried to explain the situation to the salesman all he could tell me was the sale is final. Me dealing with severe back and knee pain every day and working hard for my family I need to find comfort. So on Sunday we went to 4 different stores and I felt rushed and pressured to purchase anything the salesman wanted to sell me, and ended up at Ashley furniture and we meet Bobby and all I can say was WOW what customer service he took the time to explain all the sofa comfort and had us sit and take the time so i can feel the different and even made me lay on the couch so I can feel the support on my back, when I explain to Bobby about my mattress he had two pillows ready for me and my husband to lay at and show us the difirent position all the mattress offender never once did I feel pressure, he honestly made me feel comfortable and he genuine cared about my pain and comfort we must have spent a good 3 hours with Bobby. We ended up purchasing 2 sofas and a orthopedic mattress from Bobby. EVEN WITH A 90 DAY GUARANTEE ON THE MATTRESS. If at anytime during the 90 days i feel that the mattress causes me pain we can return it for a diferent one.I say Bobby because yes he works for Ashley furniture but I believe in my heart that no matter how much training a salesman can receive if you don't have compassion in your job, you just don't have it!!!!. Your just a salesman that ain't worth nothing and customer's will not return. Ashley furniture you have a diamond and if anyone is looking to purchase any furniture in the Future go to Bobby you will not be disappointed. Hand down to Bobby and thank you!!!! Worst place to buy from!!! I bought my daughter a bedroom set back in August(8/30/2020 to be exact) & I've yet to receive her FULL order, mind you I had to wait over a month for the first part of her set. I understand we're in this covid situation which has slowed down many things but c'mon, this is not the first time it happens with Ashley. Back in 2015 I ordered a sofa set & also waited over a month, so don't feed me that covid storyline. I've made several attempts through the phone, they couldn't help, they advised me to go to the store where I purchased, I did, a person named Noel tried to help me, he said it appears that the dresser & nightstand was delivered on Sept 8th, which is a bunch of bs because I've yet to see that. He told me he'd investigate & call me within 48hrs, fine, I kept my cool, allowed 48hrs to transpire, the day came along, no word from Noel. I decided to reach out to him & check the status, he responded hours later saying he had been stuck in a training class & would get back to me as soon as he was done(that was on a Friday) no word from Noel whatsoever that day. The weekend came & went, I waited on Monday to hear a response, still nothing. I finally reached out again, the response I got was: [I did follow up with Stephanie, she and I were trying to figure out why and who canceled your order back in September she does have it now she is aware of what's going on and doing further research to get you an answer I will keep following up but if you do want give her a call at the office as well.] So, all in all I am tired of getting the run around, I don't have the time to be calling you guys nor to visit your store. I am very fed up at this moment that no one seems to care but solely making sure I make my payments on time. This is ridiculous!!! Do not buy from this store if you want to be treated this way!!! After being a customer for many years, my last experience with Ashley will be my last. Right before Xmas, I had ordered a sectional. Only half was delivered. Suffice to say I was furious as we had company coming over for the holidays. The store blamed the warehouse and said the remainder wouldn't be delivered until mid January. This was supposed to be ok. Well it was not and I called and gave them an earful. After I made a huge fuss and spoke to a salesperson, the chaise was delivered on January 2nd. As a customer, you expect that when you order new furniture, ALL of it will be delivered. I received no phone call letting me know the chaise was on back order, nothing. If a courtesy call would have been made, I would not be writing this review. I will never shop here again. They lost a valued customer. read more

We found the perfect couch set and then asked the salesman to come talk with us. After a little bit of haggling on price we came to an agreement and made the purchase. I was totally surprised when they said delivery would be 2 days later! Quick!!! They gave me a 4 hour window for delivery and I fully expected to wait the 4 hours, but Thursday morning I received a call 45 minutes before the time frame and they asked if it was ok to come now or did they need to wait? I was very pleas d with their professionalism and timely delivery!! They put the furniture exactly where we wanted and even helped my mother hang a mirror that she couldn't hang!
