I purchased a sofa at this store. Salesgirl said she gave me the best price. I get home and find the same sofa online for $200 less. I try to call the store (several times) but the calls go to a call center. No way to speak to salesperson. I drove out to the store and asked to speak to the manager but he was busy. We ordered a dresser with mirror, 5 drawer chest from Ashley Furniture, it was scheduled to be delivered on August 9, when arrived it was only the chest and mirror, the chest was damaged, we rejected the delivery, we tried calling but could only get in touch by texting, went to Ashley on Sunday complained and was given a promise of all three pieces would be delivered at the same time and new not repaired by August 20. Got an email Friday the 15th from their fulfillment dept. the only two pieces would arrive on the 20th, the chest and mirror, a lot of good the mirror does without the dresser. We visited the Ashley store in Okolona to buy a couch. We found a lovely soft, comfortable couch that my partner loved. I must make it clear that she has had two hip replacements, back and neck surgeries, and shoulder surgery. For her to love a couch was a wonderful event. We paid for it and awaited delivery. Ashley delivered the couch in a timely manner, but my goodness, the couch We received was so hard and sat us so much higher that my partner couldn't even put her feet on the ground. We returned to Ashley and they agreed to send out another couch. This was not before telling us that we needed to give the couch a break-in period. My partner replied that at 82 she probably didn't have time to do so. We did make an offer to Ashley to simply exchange our so-called new couch for the one used in the store display. Unbelievably they refused. Clearly, this made me suspicious that there was a known difference between the two and Ashley was being intentionally deceptive. On the positive side after sending a second couch with exactly the same result, Ashley agreed to refund our money. We took our refund and used that cash to buy a much better coach from American Freight. Ashley will never again get our business. I would not purchase anything from this company. COMEDY OF ERRORSall the way. We were given incorrect delivery dates from the beginning which was a sign I should have paid attention to: 1. Could not get sofa and ottoman delivered at first for 2 months, Then they offered couch could be picked up sooner and ottoman picked up a month later. We were then told another ottoman was found and they would deliver for free a week later. Ottoman that was delivered I made the intake of signing for before I unpacked, found defect in fabric Ashley would not take it back and only offered to have it recovered. We could not get an appointment tent for over month later, that was then res healed due to their issue another month later. 2. We purchased the set in July and the whole mess took us till October to get serviced. Reopholster job was terrible but I was tired of fighting. 3. Now that we have been using the set for less than six months thefabric pills constantly and it has to be fabric shaved weekly. Set is very bad quality for $1,500. I purchased a couch from Ashley furniture 09 /2022 and extended warranty .When I called Ashley furniture customer service I was given another number to call .When finally talking to someone I was told to take pictures of the problem and they said they would send someone out to repair torn place on couch, after waiting a couple of weeks called again and was asked to take pictures again and told them we already did this .A couple of weeks later called back and said we need to send in pictures again.After talking to another warranty person they said it would not be covered because it was not even tear across seat on couch but if did not have another claim on our couch we would receive our warranty money back .I just wanted couch fixed repaired never ever again will I ever shop there again tried calling salesperson but no luck , terrible service . My fiancé and I visited the Ashley Store in Louisville, Ky. on 3.24.24. We purchased a sectional and ottoman. The scheduling and delivery of the sectional has been a nightmare! In store, we were told that the sectional was on backorder and that we could expect to receive the delivery "around the first or second week of May". Mid-May we received a text message to schedule a delivery for the sectional and we scheduled the delivery for 5.28.24. A few days before 5.28.24, I received text messages asking me to schedule my delivery. This was confusing because we had already scheduled. After texting with the automated service and getting nowhere, I found a customer service number on a flyer that was given to us at the time of purchase. I spoke with a customer service representative and learned that all pieces of the sectional were not in the warehouse and could not be delivered. I expressed frustration with having to rearrange my work schedule for delivery and never received a phone call from a "live" person explaining the situation. I only received a text to "schedule the delivery". I ended up rescheduling again for 6.12.24. As of 6.11.24 I had not received any communication from Ashley on the "delivery window" so I reached out to inquire about the delivery. Upon speaking with the customer service representative, I learned that all of the sectional had not been received in the warehouse and couldn't be delivered on 6.12.24. I again expressed frustration with having to yet again rearrange my work schedule for another delivery. I was told that a partial delivery, "everything but the ottoman", could be delivered on 6.15.24. The ottoman (reportedly) will be in the warehouse on 6.26.24. On 6.15.24 our sectional was delivered BUT a part of it was damaged so we had to send it back! We received a text from what we assume was an auto bot but no one from Ashley's called to inquire or apologize! So, we anticipate another couple of months before we can actually utilize furniture we purchased in March! Pay attention to the reviews!! I very rarely provide feedback on retail experiences; however, I would like to help those I care about avoid a similar experience with Ashley HomeStores of Louisville. We went on Black Friday (11/24) and purchased 4 items as follows: 1. An accent table that was discontinued and they let us take it that day. Great table, we love it. 2. Two lamps. Gets interesting here. We provided our billing and home address assuming that's where they would send the lamps. Funny story...we bought something there a few years ago, and they sent the lamps to another address about 100 miles way. No worries...we'll eventually get there and pick them up. 3 & 4. An end table and shelves. They promised these could be picked up directly from the warehouse on 521 Industry Road in Louisville the following day. We showed up. You guessed it. The items were not there. No worries. Everyone makes mistakes, right? We came back on 12/1 to pick up the "boxes." Yep...sealed boxes. Both items required assembly. You know I have wicked...Okay, mediocre...skills with tools, so I could absolutely put legs on an end table and assemble a set of shelves, right!? Unfortunately, when I opened the boxes, the shelves were severely damaged. We called the store, but they said there was nothing the could do and gave us a customer service number. We called that number, and although the customer service representative was super polite, she shared they have a no return, exchange or refund policy. That's cool, right? Except they sold me a broken item. The item was in a sealed box in multiple pieces. Each piece individually wrapped. I was asked why I didn't open the box at the warehouse after they loaded it onto my truck and inspect each piece. Huh? Are you serious? Long story short, I'm out $420+ for shelves that are damaged. I've been a patron to Ashley but that ship has sailed. We purchased a leather family set from Ashley 4 years ago and the extended warranty. 2 weeks ago the leather and the seat started falling apart and peeling. I contacted the warrant company and was told it did not cover the leather failing which make zero sense to me. I contacted Ashley directly and at 1st told don't worry we guarantee your leather furniture for 5 years. After hoops of repeated phone calls and pictures and different angles of picture ls they conclude it is not covered. So I buy leather with the impression it was going to last for years and if not we have a great warranty/customer service that covers it all. So if I accidentally ripped it that would be covered but if you sell me a hunk of junk low quality leather furniture as mid to high end with an excellent full spectrum warranty and it begins to fall apart do to piss poor quality then not that's our fault but it's on you. Never will I ever shop with Ashley again and will do everything in my power to make sure no one around me spends a penny with them. I purchased a sofa, loveseat and an ottoman last may in a Louisville Ashley Furniture store. The ottoman lost its shape immediately. Ashley furniture sent a replacement cushion and had a technician install it. Immediately it lost its shape again. This time they sent a tech to repair it. It happened again. When I contacted Ashley Furniture they said that I could not return it because it was purchased in store and that I could not exchange it for a different model. After speaking with a manager he advised a technician would have to say the ottoman was defective. However, they will not send another technician because they had before. I used to buy a lot of furniture and accessories from Ashley- those days are over. I purchased a lamp recently- when I got it home and actually plugged it in, you could see huge stains on the shade that were not visible when the lamp was unlit. I realize you cannot return accessories to Ashley- but I was never informed that the items were "as is"...I didn't see this posted in the store, and that is not listed on my receipt. I certainly would have paid closer attention to the purchase had I known I was buying an "as is" item. I spoke to a very rude salesperson named Brian about this situation- and was immediately met with a bad attitude. I accept that I am stuck with a gross lampshade- but I do not accept people being rude when I am being pleasant. I moved my work schedule around to be off that Wednesday.. they call on Tuesday and say the couches are on back order they can come the 22nd. Furniture may be nice but you have to be willing to wait a good 4 weeks for delivery, after being rescheduled once. They know that they have a problem so all they had to say to me was we'll refund you your money, that means that they don't really care about that aspect of their service. Called the customer response team after the truck "literally" blew by our house. The response team member tells me that the dresser was not on the truck and the delivery was "Canceled" . I went Into this Ashley furniture location today intending to possibly purchase a sectional, however to my disappointment I was never approached by any of the THREE associates! Eye contact was made with Each person As I strolled through the store, but No "Hello's" or "how can I help you!!!" There were no customers in the store at this time (3:30pm). I was alone, so why wasn't I helped? I have never had this happen, and it's really got me feeling uneasy! This Was the first and last time at this Ashley furniture location (Jefferson blvd location). The customer service here is terrible! We bought a mattress on Black Friday weekend and ordered it in store through a salesman. They told us the mattress would be in the warehouse by December 19th at the latest. I called today (December 11th) to check on a pick up date and they told me it wouldn't be there until the 20th. Keep in mind this is a mattress in a box. My husband then finds the exact mattress through their website online and available to have delivered to our house this Friday the 13th. I called the call center and the woman I spoke to was rude and unhelpful and informed me I could "risk" canceling my order and having delivered through the website but that I would probably be charged a 10% restock fee for cancelling. I'm not sure why I would be bred a restock fee for something that isn't even in the warehouse yet apparently?? This has now been going on for two weeks and still no mattress we already paid for. I also tried to call the store manager regarding this and was hung up on twice. Do not recommend whatsoever and won't be back. UPDATE- December 15th- it seems as though their idea of reaching out to offer a solution, is just as bad with costumer service as the original problem. It's now December 15th and we still have not been offered any kind of solution to our problem, or even contacted by this so called "escalation team". This place is an absolute joke. If I could cancel this whole order and move on to another retailer I would, but now we will be charged for cancelling an order for a restocking fee for a product not even in the warehouse to be "restocked ". We ordered a complete bedroom set in July 2020. we were told that due to Covid we could expect a 6 WEEK delay in getting our furniture. 9 MONTHS later and we still do not have the bed. I have literally made and birthed a child in the time it has taken them to deliver this bed... and we STILL don't have it. I understand with Covid a lot of normal things are out of whack, but Ashley has NEVER once tried to contact us to give an update on our order status. Every time we call we end up on hold, get disconnected multiple times, and never receive a call back. They have our money and don't care about our satisfaction anymore. They blame their manufacturers and say they have no control over them... what kind of business plan is that?? That you can sell items and have no control over your suppliers?? Horrendous. I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. It sounds like delivery is the biggest problem - mine is getting a refund bc of delivery problems. I bought my sofa (which I love!) at the Jefferson Blvd store. It was $150 less than at Wayfair. I didn't mind waiting weeks for delivery. Two days before it was to be delivered, I got 7 phone messages about the time on Saturday before Easter. The messages were garbled, but I got the 3 hours time frame. Great - I waited all Saturday afternoon till 5:45 with no delivery. I called the store number and the auto message said it was closed. Of course - Easter weekend. Monday I went to the store (1/2 hour drive for me) and told them what happened. They said I didn't confirm the delivery. If that was on the message, I didn't get it. They also said I should have gotten a text and email. On my receipt, neither was listed, although I remember giving both to the salesman. When I told them I called on Saturday at 6:00 and the store was closed, everyone at the Service Desk said they were there until 10:00 pm just as the website said! I asked for the delivery charge ($50) to be dropped and the young man at the Service Desk said Sure and I signed the form. We rescheduled for a week later. I made sure they had all the correct information. I got phone, text and email notifications about the time. The delivery was made with no problems and as I said, the couch is just what I wanted. BUT - a week later I still had no $50 refund so I called the store again. A woman named Amber said it didn't go through bc it had to go through her. No one told me that - I would have walked it through! She submitted it and I called 3 days later and was told (by someone else) that it takes a week to 10 days to process. Really? Home Depot refunds show up on my bank the same day. The men that delivered it just did not care how they handled the furniture. Found a small hole from where they had shoved it into the house. I talked to on the phone while they were there tried to act like it was something I did wrong. So happy when they left because the delivery people were so rude. They said someone would be out to fix it. I received the fabric but after a few calls was told the couch had been discontinued to could not get anyone to fix it. Less then 24 hrs, after being delivered, I went into store and talked w/Dre, Asst Mgr. Explained the issue. I bought 4 items of furniture and on delivery one was badly scratched in three different locations and an end table was wobbly and unstable with uneven legs. I called the Store in Louisville where I bought the furniture the next day and tried every number listed and got no answer. This was 10:30 1/2 hour after the Store opens. I called again 15 minutes later and finally got someone on the 4th number. That person said I would need to talk to customer service and offered to transfer me. I had already tried that and got a very bad connection and had difficulty understanding the person. I asked if I could speak to the manager and it turns out I was. When I asked if she could help with my problem she said she was by trying to by transferring me to customer service. I was admittedly sarcastic in thanking her for all her help . Then she hung up on me. On a later call from customer service they said they would schedule someon to come out to try and repair the damage. So brand new furniture and I'm waiting for someone to try to repair it. And the store where I bought the furniture doesn't want to be bothered. Now I know why they push very hard when you purchase something to get you to buy extra warranty coverage. I am still waiting 2 months later with no contact from this company. I really wish I had read the reviews before buying from this Ashley HomeStore. According to sources I have since read, they will try and split my order so that it will be difficult for me to return the furniture (if I ever get it) or if something with the furniture is wrong. I have also recently read that the furniture they sell is of a lower quality than in previously, but is sold at a high quality price. May of 2021 I ordered a $5,000 bedroom set (without mattress) It wasn't delivered until August 31, 2021. Upon delivery, the dresser drawer was broken by running into a doorway. The headboard has a big run in the fabric, the mirror is distorted and the chest has paint chips. The delivery men took pics and reported the damage. Never heard a word. I called about a month later, they had no information. So I was instructed to send email with pics and I did. Nothing. Called a few weeks later. They said a repairman will be there in a few days. Never did. I called again and they said they would send someone from a different company. He did come. He did nothing but take pics. I waited another month. Nothing. Went to the store in person in January. They had no info and needed 'pics'. I sent them again while I was there and verified that they were received and they were. Waited another month, called again, and again I had to send pictures. That was February 27, 2022. Today is May 23 and nothing. I called and was told the dresser is due in on the 5/25. The mirror 6/21. She said the headboard and the chipped paint was dismissed as there were no pictures sent. I threw a small fit over the phone and then "oh yes, here it is.....the headboard in due 6/29 and the chest 8/2". This is terrible service. My parents also had a terrible time a few years earlier with a kitchen dinette. So I've been purchasing from Value City with NO issues. read more

This has been a nightmare experience. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING THROUGH THIS STORE! We ordered the $4k sectional through a sales team member. It is the first sectional you see when you walk in. The sales member said the pieces connect through a specific hooking system so it doesn't move around, this was a big part for us in buying a sectional. It was delivered and it didn't have these parts. We called the sales member and he said "Oh it doesn't. Shoot I thought it did." The delivery drive for Ashley said "this happens all the time. The sales members have no idea what they're doing." The delivery driver put in his notes that the sales member lied to the customers. I tried calling the store 7-8 times a day and no one picked up. Every person I've talked to about refunding has seemed like I'm a major inconvenience even though it was their mistake. Also, their head company has no control over this store so everything is processed through a store that has no customer service and a sales team that lies about products. Not worth the headache, there's plenty of other places to get furniture in Louisville. read more
