When we first entered the store, Elijah introduced himself and asked how he could help us. We were looking for an accent chair. He pointed us in the best direction to start looking and told us about current sales, and then he let us wander through the store on our own. I appreciated the freedom to roam, as I hate having a salesperson follow me around. That said, Elijah did check on us to see how we were doing, but didn't hover or pressure us. After looking at, trying, and comparing several different chairs, I found one I thought seemed right for me. Just then, Elijah appeared again to see how we were doing. When I said I thought I found the one, Elijah helped me pick out a custom fabric that I'm super excited about. The checks process was easy and quick, and I'm looking forward to the chair arriving in about 6 weeks. To be honest, Elijah's service and personality were big factors to my purchase decision. Purchased a recliner on Tuesday that ended up being very uncomfortable for me and caused a very sore back. Contacted them two days later asking for an exchange for better unit, however was told they have a strict 24 hour return policy not 48. So if I had contacted them on Wednesday they would of taken back for 30% restocking charge, however on Thursday, no go. Now I understand there are rules, but it just seems odd to lose a customer for life over something so trivial as one additional day. Was really hoping I would get used to the chair, however my back would have nothing to do with it. Very sad how little there customer means to them. If you don't like what you purchased, be sure to request a return right away not wait and see if its just because it is stiff not broken in. Very disappointed with my experience at the Ashley store in Green Bay. I purchased outdoor furniture in-store, only to find it listed online at Ashley's website for $200 less. I contacted the store expecting a price adjustment, and at first, they said they would refund the difference. However, they later called back saying they couldn't price match because my purchase included a "free" Solo Stove promotion for spending over $2000. This doesn't make sense--how is it truly a free promotion if they charge more for the furniture in-store than what's available on their own website? It feels misleading. Essentially, the Solo Stove wasn't free--it was bundled into a higher in-store price. Very frustrating and feels like a bait-and-switch. Just do not understand why I can get this furniture faster from Amazon and cheaper. Went to the Green Bay store to see if they would price match. Asked if it was in stock and they said yes. Asked if I could get it that day and they said it would take 4 to five days. Decided to order from Amazon and had it delivered for free in a few days. Green Bay manager at that perticular day didn't seem to mind losing a sale. Maybe because the packers were on at the time. They wonder why people are not shopping locally. Our experience with Ashley furniture was absolutely terrible. We ordered over $8000 in furniture. We got the first couple pieces in the first few weeks. They took $100 off an $800 piece that was damaged. They also forgot to give us a portion of our couch upon us picking up. This wasn't even the 1/2 of it. We were promised dated over and over for a recliner that was part of matching couch set that continued to get delayed for four months. They lied to us numerous times. When the rest of the furniture did come in there was damage to that as well. I would never ever ever recommend shopping at Ashley furniture. The service was awful. The communication was awful and two pieces were damaged. To say we were upset would be an understatement. We also took a survey to get "free cups" never got those either. I'd definitely shop somewhere else. I'm not one of those Karen's that write reviews for everything either. This was just extremely upsetting. read more

Ashley delivered a damaged box spring to my home. I have been trying to get it fixed for 7 months now. They offered me $20 if I didn't want to get it fixed, but if I took it and fixed it myself, then I would not have the warranty. Also, I paid upwards of $1200 for the bed, so $20 seemed sort of pathetic. Also, they have horrible customer service. They told me they only do service on Tuesdays, and will not give you a time far in advance. If they give you a time slot that doesn't work for you, their next available date for service is months out. They have also flaked on me several times. They don't have a person that you can call either, only a robot that hangs up on you! It's safe to say that I am very frustrated, and feel the need to dissuade others from making the same mistake of buying from Ashley. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I would highly recommend avoiding purchasing anything from here! We attempted to purchase a bedroom set from the Green Bay location almost a year ago and have yet to receive it!!! The truck attempted to deliver the set roughly 6 times! Numerous times it arrived damaged and/or it never got loaded on the truck. Extremely poor customer service. 2 sets were purchased and roughly 10k later - unbelievable - I would look elsewhere! I bought a power recliner last week. I needed one quickly and Dave was able to find one in stock at the warehouse. He said that he could have it here by mid-week. Or, if I was willing to drive to the warehouse, I could get the next day. It was about a 75-minute drive and an easy to find warehouse. The warehouse staff was also excellent in pulling the chair from the shelves and helping me load into my vehicle. I'll do business with Ashley again! read more

First off, we were bombarded by sales people when we walked in. Second, we chose what we wanted and upon delivery. I had to send the tables back because they came damaged. Along with the dining set which scratched instantly. So they once again came to get it and we had to go back and pick out other pieces. Had I known the furniture was put together by blind people I wouldn't have bought it. The dining set I have now is literally put together with glue! You can see it all over they didn't even clean up the extra. The couch and ottoman we have is losing the stuffing and is not looking as nice as it did (wrinkling) and it's just me and my husband. The old adage you get what you pay for fits here. Also I paid the extra $$$ for the insurance and lo and behold it doesn't cover the stuffing coming out, or the couch shape. I repeat...DONT buy the Insurance! It's useless and just another way for them to get a few hundred $$$ from you! I won't ever buy from this place again! read more

Absolute and profound lack of customer service. Will never ever buy from any Ashley or Boston store again. I even gave them a second and third chance. The store tells you to call the 1-800 number for help, the people on the phone tell you to call the local store. You have to beg somebody to help you with a problem. Moved to the area just over a year ago and bought a couple pieces from here. Dave was the salesman. He is very knowledgeable of their inventory and made great recommendations for my price point. I went just went in again looking for a basement couch that can fit down an abnormally narrow staircase. Everything was great at the store, there were the usual small issues you can kinda expect when you are buying new furniture (it takes a bit longer than expected to arrive). Service at the store was as good as one could hope for me. The issue came with the team who delivered and set up the furniture. It was a couple of dudes who were acting like they were doing me the favor for putting the furniture in the house since I paid for delivery and installation. These dudes were acting like it was 4:59 on a Friday. They were hasty, inconsiderate, and could care less if they smashed into every wall or railing in your house. If it was just a bump I wouldn't be complaining. Then to top it off, a couch was going into a room where it would have to be carried to the back door to make it through. This was explained on the phone to them but it was a problem when they got here. The exact quote was "I'm not carrying your big ass couch around your house". So I did it myself no problem. Then to top it off a 10 year old with Lego set experience could have done a better job assembling the chairs. My recommendation, don't pay for delivery and install at the very least. The furniture isn't a great quality value for what your paying to begin with. read more

We've been shopping at Ashley in Green Bay for a few years now, and when our daughter & son-in -law moved out to Kewaunee, we brought them to Ashley, too! Between the four of us, we bought a whole houseful of furniture, and loved it all...until we started having problems with our loveseat recliner and lift-top coffee table. BUT WAIT!! This review has a happy ending!! We had to have their service tech (Steve) come out 3 times to change parts on the table & loveseat. (Steve has been wonderful throughout all of this, by the way.) That was aggravating enough, but the final straw was when the 3rd set of brackets were damaged in the box!!! We called the store manager (Nate) who said our best bet would be to speak with Mike Amick (Regional Mgr), as he would be the one to authorize getting our money back. After some discussion with Mike he agreed to let us change out our living room furniture, and if we couldn't find anything, he would refund our money. We went back to the store, and since our original salesperson was no longer there, she recommended Renee Harrell. Renee took her time with us and after asking exactly what we were looking for, worked with us over a couple weeks to find the perfect set for us! She advised us since there was one piece that wasn't available in the warehouse, that it will be 6-8 weeks before we get the whole set. She arranged for the pick-up & delivery when everything comes in, as well as the credit for the damaged furniture. Yes...it was a bit aggravating, but we understand sometimes you can get a "lemon" in anything...cars, appliances, electronics, and yes...even furniture! We recommend Ashley Furniture, and especially Renee Harrell, who turned a frustrating experience into a pleasant one. We're really looking forward to our new furniture! Recently purchased a table, and I love it, staff was kind and not too pushy, however, one of the pieces arrived broken. After trying to contact customer service for 3 days and being hung up on every time, my boyfriend and I went back into the store to show them the piece that was broken and that we needed replaced. I purchased a "Bellaby Dresser" from Ashley HomeStore. My sales person, Dave Martens took care of all the details and kept me informed. I did take the white glove delivery at a reasonable cost and was very glad I did. I was kept up to date on delivery day and times....and it was accurate. No waiting around and wondering when my furniture would show up. The dresser was brought up to my apartment, unpacked, placed exactly where I wanted it and the packaging was removed from my apartment when the delivery men left. They were polite and professional. I will definitely purchase from Ashley HomeStore again...Actually I'd previously purchased a dining table, chairs and a bench and an end table...so I am a repeat customer. Purchased a custom couch and accent chair in April 2018. Really enjoyed the experience since I have had many poor experiences at WG&R (way too pushy). Ron Zittlow was my salesman and while he was new in his position, he was very friendly, helpful and informative. The entire process from purchase, financing and delivery setup was pleasant and timely. Delivery was great as well. The guys who delivered the furniture we're friendly and more portantly ON TIME! MUST SEE PHOTOS BEFORE BUYING FROM ASHLEY - In July 2019, I purchased a sofa, loveseat, chair and 1/2, dining room table with 6 chairs, ottoman, four end tables, sitting chair, and a bedroom set from Ashley Furniture in Green Bay, with a delivery date around September 2019. Since that time, I have had problems with everything but the bedroom set and sitting chair, and Ashley Furniture has done everything they can to slow down the resolution to the problems. Also, the rapid decaying of multiple brands and multiple types of furniture suggests that Ashley Furniture puts little effort into building quality products. Full Descriptions of my issues below (Photos are better)..... Dining Room Tables- I am now on my FOURTH dining room table from Ashley since my original purchase. The planks on the table top of the first dining room table I purchased started warping a couple months after it was delivered, and the paint was practically wiping off of the table. I reported this in December 2019, and I didn't receive a replacement table top until March 2020. The replacement table top starting doing the exact same thing, and I reported this in May 2020. Ashley Furniture agreed to let me return the table for store credit to purchase a new dining room table. I did so (purchasing a table costing hundreds of dollars more), and that was delivered in June 2020. By October 2020, I the planks on the THIRD dining room table, a different model than the first two, showed significant warping. It took until March 2021 to convince the store to replace the third table for yet another model (they initially issued a credit in February, but this didn't include the dining room chairs that I bought with the table). End Tables - The paint on three of the four end tables (one is in storage) we purchased was practically wiping off of the table (similar to the dining room table) almost immediately after it was delivered, and the edges on two of the tables started warping. These issues were reported with the dining room table in December of 2019. I don't remember the exact timeline after this, but one table was repaired around the time the dining room table was replaced and the other had to be replaced (adding months on to the process). By October 2020, all three end tables started exhibiting the same issues as the ones we replaced. It took until March 2021 to convince the store to issue store credit for the four end tables (initially only offering credit for two back in February). Ottoman - The ottoman has four plastic straps supporting the middle of the ottoman, and all four are secured using very small staples. These straps tear easily and don't support any reasonable amount of weight. Since the delivery of the Ottoman in September 2019, it has been repaired twice. By October 2020, the ottoman started exhibiting the same issue as before (collapsing in on itself), and I again reported it to Ashely Furniture. It took until March 2021 to convince the store to issue store credit for the Ottoman. Couches - Of all the pictures shown below, the pictures of the couches are the only ones that show furniture exceeding four months of ownership, but it is clear from the issue appearing on all three pieces of furniture that the problem started much sooner. The Sofa, Loveseat, and Chair and 1/2 all have razor-sharp, metal tabs protruding through the seat surface below the cushions, and this was reported in October 2020 (one month past the warranty date). Twice I've cut my hand on these tabs searching for a remote, and Ashley Furniture refused to do anything about it until a report was filed with the CPSC. It took until March 2021 to convince the store to issue store credit for each piece of furniture. $700 later, I will have replacement furniture (in July 2021!). read more

Bad experience with kitchen table- any moisture caused massive bubbles all over table. We bought 6 chairs. They would only replace table once and not chairs so we're stuck with same quality table since didn't want mismatching items. Tables are poor quality. Never had a table do that in my life! I did also buy a bed for my daughter and we love that. I'm just not impressed with customer service and not being able to exchange or get a refund on a poor product we had 6 months. Have purchased tow times from Ashley. Product is OK. The Customer Care Department is the WORST. Called today 5 times. They answered 2 times and I was put on hold for over 27 min. I was scheduled to have my furniture delivered on 1/18/18. They couldn't find the order, then they said my order didn't come in. Good customer service. Was slightly disappointed to hear there was a fee to put our furniture together for us, you just assume if your buying a piece it would come together. Furniture came in on time. A little disappointed as well on the table. It was a distressed piece and much more so then the one in the store. I don't usually leave reviews... but this made me pretty angry. We ordered a bed set from them a month and a half ago. They said our stuff would be delivered today, however multiple pieces were missing. The footboard and the chest. Those won't be delivered for another month and half. Nobody bothered to call and tell us this. We had to call them and ask for something to take it's place because we currently just have a headboard and a mattress laying on the floor. They said we could drive 2 hours to get a different footboard and set it up ourselves or wait 2 weeks for them to deliver it. Talk about a major inconvenience. When I called again to speak to the manager- they magically said they could get a footboard delivered in 2 days. They are blaming this all on covid. When speaking to our neighbors, the EXACT same thing happened to them. Not impressed with this company at all. read more

I will never shop at Ashley furniture again, they have the worst customer service repair department I've ever dealt with. I called them at least 15 times to have a recliner rocker fixed. They kept passing me off to their so called supervisors. They said that they I didn't pay upfront they have the service man come out to my house, I told them check your records you're supposed to boost at all your calls are recorded. Of course they found it, so they apologized. Had an appointment set for a specific date never got a call In advance, I called back and after another 15 minute wait I asked for a supervisor, he said I didn't pay in advance, I told him check your records, sure as hell they found I had paid. So here we go again waiting for a service tech to call. I told him I wanted a refund on my $76, they said they try and get it done but I still had to pay for parts and the next service call. I had a 'service technician' come to my home after having my couch and love seat 2 months - showed up in a Penske RENTAL truck - and did absolutely NOTHING but take pictures and said a manager would call me, which they won't. Absolutely no respect to the paying customer, no standard or even the SLIGHTEST display of customer service... especially don't buy the BS 'insurance'. Good furniture quality (sofa, love seat, side table and storage ottoman), but DON"T buy the guardsman protection program!!! The ottoman strap came off, a sofa seam tore, the side table got scratched, and my child drew on the sofa with marker. The protection plan will not cover your furniture when breaks or is damaged. I have called Ashley no less the 5 time to ask to speak with a manger to express my disappointment with the insurance that was sold to me. I was NEVER able to speak to a manager, and the ONE call they returned was simply stated that my one furniture inquiry was denied. Poor customer loyalty, I just wanted to be heard. I wanted to say "When you sell a Guardsman protection program don't, "sell it", it's not a worthwhile service and Ashley Furniture looks bad for selling Guardsman." Or at least don't give your employees an incentive to sell it. All things considered I would shop here again, I like what I see on the whole and the staff was kind. Ordered my furniture on Aug. 30th and was told that it would be delivered on Sept. 25th. Received a call on Sept. 13th stating that the furniture will not be delivered until Oct. 2nd. But Oct. 2nd came and went, with no furniture and no word from the store. I called on Oct. 3rd, but there was no answer, so I left a message. But there was no response. On Oct. 5th, I called the salesman on his cellphone. But again, there was no answer, so I left another message. And once again, there was no response. I was finally able to reach someone on Oct. 8th. The young lady informed that my furniture would now be arriving on Oct. 16th. She stated that she wanted to verify that this date was correct and that she would call me back. Yep, you guessed it! I never heard from her again. Today, Oct. 13th, I drove, 60 minutes, to their store to confront them face to face. They apologized and said that my furniture will now be arriving on Oct. 23! Unreal! If/when the date changes again, they'll have to my money. I know there's a lot of other furniture stores that would be happy to take my money. Waiting over 8 weeks for furniture is just crazy. And refusing to call and talk to the customers is unheard of! And no way to run a business. They clearly don't care about their customers. I'll never shop there again. read more
