    Just bought a leather sofa bed from Ashley Geneva Illinois. They didn't have it in the store, so I had to take the recommendation from the salesperson, Malika. She was very helpful, made sure that I got the sales price, and noted on the invoice that I wanted delivery as soon as possible. It came 13 days earlier than the original estimated delivery date! The delivery notification was also great. They confirmed the date and time of the delivery right up to the hour! The men were courteous, efficient, and removed all the packaging. Best of all the sofa bed is GREAT. The sofa is beautiful and comfortable. And the bed is surprisingly firmw & supportive. One of the best purchases ever!! Highly recommended!

    We purchased a sleeper sofa from here with Malai. My wife went to the store and picked one out and sent me the link to it. I was concerned that it would not fit down the stairs though. I spoke with Malai and gave her the measurements of the stairway and entrance to the stairway. and she guaranteed it would fit down their easily and if not that they would remove the banister to get it down and put it back up. SO we ordered on the spot and waited about 5 months. Well they went to deliver the couch on Wednesday and the crew refused to even attempt to bring it downstairs. The stood the couch on end and said it wouldn't fit. They would only take it down if we signed a damage waiver which we were never told about previous to this. Again Malai guaranteed it would fit without any issues. They left the couch there with us then. I called the store to speak with Malai about this and she was off. I explained to the store what was happening and was told Malai would call me back immediately. 3 hours later I never received a call. I then called and spoke with Jennifer who agreed this was not acceptable and was unprofessional. She took my info and said Malai would call me at 1pm on Thursday. I thought that would be fine but Thursday came and went and no one called. I called in again today and Malai was with another customer so she is supposed to call me back yet gain. As of 4/29/22 at 3:23 pm there has not been one apology or effort to remedy the situation. At this point it is clear Malai purposefully deceived us about it fitting or at least about their effort/ability to bring it down. So needless to say my wife and I brought it down last night without taking a banister down at all. If we can do this then how can their delivery team not do it? I had also emailed customer service and messaged them on facebook. It was only a few minutes ago I received a response which blamed us for the couch not getting into the basement.

    Sectional wedge arrived broken.

    The middle wedge of my sectional arrived broken. I didn't notice until the delivery folks left. It's been impossible to get anything done with customer service. They claim a tech needs to come out to see if it should be repaired. Yet, it's clearly unrepairable. Multiple calls with customer service, emails, texts, and it's still not replaced. Be sure to search other stores online before purchasing. I ended up finding the couch for several hundred dollars cheaper online after ordering.

    My husband wrote a review about how we ordered,and paid in full, our furniture Nov 18,2020. Was told delivery would be the beginning of February. Then the first official delivery date was February 18. Then it became a lot of lies and unkept promises. "Oh your furniture is in. We can deliver Monday" then nothing. Then we got A PIECE of our sectional and the ottoman to the chair, but no chair. Since then it's been delivery date change after delivery date change. How do you make a piece of a sectional but not the rest of it??? Layne in Escalations got involved. "Your furniture will be delivered April 8!!" Hallelujah!! On Monday april 5, I confirmed the delivery of both missing pieces. Thursday april 8, only the chair arrives. Still missing the rest of the sectional. The missing sofa that was promised to arrive in February, then March, then April, then May, then Layne saved the day and found one to deliver on April 8. Nope. All lies. How was it on the list Monday but doesn't exist on Thursday?? My guess is this couch no longer exists. It has been discontinued(this is a fact, stated on their website) It's the only piece of furniture in the company made with this velvet fabric. They have no more. Maybe, or they are all idiots and lose the pieces of furniture and have no idea where anything is???? Which is it Ashley???? I need a complete refund, I need you to come get your piece of a sectional, or give me the rest of this order ASAP!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A DISASTER. BUY YOUR FURNITURE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

    Our service report stating defective issues and more tech found. The other is their rep  stating furniture is not approved for exchange.

They met with her on an afternoon in March and Shilpa was so patient and professional as they tried to decide what they wanted. She let them have space to talk, she helped them measure, she showed them many options. She even stayed past her time to go home to make sure they felt comfortable in their decision making process. In the end they couldn't make a decision that night and Shilpa was so understanding and made them feel like they could call her with questions. Thank you again Barb VenHorst

    We found this location through the internet. Knowing how some places like this work - selling used…read moremattresses, mattresses being resold bc they were returned from other big box stores or reselling ones found on Craigslist, Let Go, etc... We challenged Marc as to where he got his product from and if it was brand new. He advised us that everything is from Macy's because he has a relationship with the buyer there and everything was BRAND NEW! Never on the floor as a sample, not returned products, etc. he said they were left over, brand new mattresses from last season/last year that weren't bought and Macy's needed to get rid of to make room for new inventory. We put our trust in Marc and his mattresses and purchased 2 of them in late February / early March 2017. Both mattresses arrived in already opened plastic bags, sealed closed with packaging tape. I didn't think much of it because I couldn't remember how my last mattress delivered 8-ish years ago. The beds were put into place, appearing lush and I was ready for a good nights sleep, finally, on my new mattress. I hopped on the mattress to see how it felt and well, not only did it feel used, it smelled of mens' cologne on one side. I laid on the left side first and felt like I was laying in a nook. As I rolled to the right, I noticed a firmer hump between the two mattresses and gently rolled into a nook on the right side of the mattress, where I smelled the cologne. I began to sniff around, and started finding a few black hairs woven into the fibers of the mattress. I was scared to mention this to my fiancé... but had no other choice. We hopped onto Yelp and read all of the other bad experiences and decided to give the mattresses a quick tape test... we took packaging tape and started laying it on top of the mattresses and pulling it up to see what would be found... dust, debris, and more body hair. We contacted Marc immediately who argued with us for quite some time. We advised him that all we wanted was for him to do the right thing... pick up the mattresses and give us our money back. He continuously told us that we were advised all sales were final, there's a sign on the door to the "outlet" stating this. And also told us all products were BRAND NEW. After threatening legal action against him, he offered to redeliver mattresses in factory sealed bags, and of better quality. To alleviate any more arguing, we accepted his offer. Well, here we are ~6-7 weeks later and the mattress I sleep on is a already dented in the small area I sleep. I'm 5'-4" and about 110lbs. There's a significant dent where I sleep and have never had so much back pain before in my life. I'm 35, a marathoner and in, in my opinion, in good shape. I've never had back issues. I sit at a desk for work 8 hours a day and do exercises to take care of my aging body because of this. There is no way that a mattress should have such a significant imprint after only a few short weeks of using it. Mattresses should last 8 years. We are so disappointed for putting our trust in Marc. I really hope no one else buys a mattress through his company. He may do great things for the community in terms of Toys for Tots and whatever else he does, but the mattresses he's selling are fraudulent and not new! Please, please spend a bit more money and buy something with a warranty, return policy and from a legit store with a good reputation!! I wish I had checked Yelp before we made our purchases. If I can get the camera to take justifiable photos, I will post them. The ones I've taken aren't showing the severity of the issue. If I could give this place, and Marc, 0 stars and find a way for him to lose his business, I would.
