I am a first time customer with Ashley and was looking forward to getting my new sectional. Let's just say I ordered my sectional on 11/29/25 and it was available to purchase and get before Christmas. I never got it! My order because they over sold their inventory on Black Friday got pushed back to February 2026. Hammad the manager is less then pleasant to work with. They made me come up to the store 3 times to leave the store with no resolution. He tried offering me two options that were less then what I had ordered to basically throw me a bone. The sales manager which now I know is the the store manager "Hammad" both advised with my sales associate that I would have my piece. My sales associate was very nice and professional through out this ordeal so shout out to Anthony "Tony" Tuah but he couldn't do anything. Then for FINALE one of the young ladies call me on 12/31/25 to tell me Hammad can't solve the problem with getting my furniture so I either have to wait and get a refund. I advised them I could not talk as I was at work and would call her back. Not even 5 minutes later the young lady calls me and says Hammad is pressuring me to ask you again so you want a refund or wait. Again, I advised I would call back and asked when the store manager would be in. I said not cancel my order, she advised they would be in on 1/3/26, I go back to the store on 1/3/26 to find out the rude and bad customer service sales manager was Hammad the store manager. I said I refused to speak to him because he is rude and never handled anything he would just sent the front office ladies or my sales assoc. to speak to me instead of him directly with his rude behavior. Once I said I was not working with him and need his bosses information he walked passed me smirked/laughed and kept walking passed me. The front desk agent gave me a generic phone number and email to contact Ashley Corporate. I did ask for a refund and I left. Needless to say they wasted my time for 6 weeks to not get ANYTHING!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the way I was treated and no resolution. read more

If I could give NEGATIVE stars for Ashley HomeStore, I would. ABYSMAL customer service. We spent 1000 dollars on a couch (We had to do the work to find that the couch is sold for a HIGHER price in store than listed online). We were told by Ernest that the couch would arrive no later than14 days. Since our couch was LOST, it will take way longer than 14 days to arrive. Not only was this inaccurate, but Monica could not explain why there were NO records of the couch on their weekly shipments. How do you lose a 1000 dollar couch? They provided us NO tracking information and Monica was RUDE and CONDESENDING on the phone when we asked where our order was. At first, we were understanding, until we were told the couch was LOST. We will NEVER EVER step foot in this poorly run store ever again. Anyone who is reading this and plans to go to Ashley HomeStore, do not waste time, money, or effort. Their employees will try to upcharge you, deliver empty promises, and spit in your face. read more

There is a lot of good selection at Ashley's. The employees are very aggressive into helping you and I was curious as to why until I found out that they work off commission ONLY. Me personally, I'd rather buy furniture without knowing if the employee is making commission off my sale. I'd rather buy something guilt free and without being pressured. Even tho I probably will purchase from them in the future, I don't like knowing that all the employees make a living off what they sell me. read more

My sales associate Michael was A-mazing. Walked me around the store and made the process of picking out a couch so easy. Incredibly nice, no pressure. He should get a raise. The reason I give 4 stars is the after-math. My couch came with a very small tear. Ashely has a repair guy come out which then told me that the backing would need to be replaced for best use. Very professional and kind. What I have a problem with is that they are shipping parts directly to me, which I then have to check to make sure they are correct - then call someone - schedule ANOTHER appointment and then be present for about 3 hours when they fix it. I know nothing about couch parts - I have no idea how to check if they are correct or not. Why can't the parts be sent to the repair man who makes sure it's correct and then brings it with them on the appointment?? This is not the end of the world, BUT this is a lot of added hassle for a couch that came NEW ripped. In short, even if your couch has the SMALLEST imperfection, refuse it.... read more

I ordered a recliner for my dad one month before father's dayther's day, and it was perfect because delivery was arranged for Father's Day Sunday so I got all my brothers and sisters together to surprise him. The delivery service confirmed on friday that it would be delivered on sunday between 11-3 so we scrambled to make the party arragements around the delivery window. The next day I was told it was moved to wednesday. We had to tell dad on father's day about the surprise delivery and he pulled out a postcard that said "it was great picking out your recliner with you for your dad for father's day". He received that post card last week. Thanks for ruining father's day. read more

Today I went into Ashley Furniture and I must say the the greeting was very aggressive. I told the sale person that I was just looking, she stated okay. As I went about my business I found an item that I wanted more information on so I ask for help. Another employee call for the sales clerk that greeted me at the door( the young lady name was Ashley) she stated that I was not her customer and the conversation they were having about helping a customer was unprofessional. Ashley felt some type of way coming to help me and I felt that I should leave the store and spend my money some where else. I will never set foot back in that store. I would rather drive seven hours to find what I want. I know they make a living off of commission. read more

Quality of furniture is good. We went in there a few times before eventually buying and the salespeople literally stalk you. This one gentleman followed us the whole time and it was very obvious. We had already told him we already had a salesperson. The ordering process was relatively simple. The assistant sales manager helped with the order and left a piece out. When we called after the furniture was delivered he told us we never told him we wanted that piece (even though it was on the list we gave him). After some arguing we finally were able to order the last piece. It just really bothered me that he basically accused us of lying. The furniture is nice but I probably wouldn't go back there because of the experience. read more

The furniture is very cheaply made, infested with roaches, and birds poop on the furniture as well. I saw a dead mouse in the floor. The person at customer service is very busy on her phone, but not very helpful to customers. The owner does not seem to care about how hot it gets in the store during the summer. read more

I had an awesome experience. Yes, the sales people were are aggressive, however once you have a "SALESEXPERT" THE OTHERS LEAVE YOU ALONE. Welllll, they left me alone because I just told them when they came up to me I had someone working with me. Robert Rodriguez at 1721 E. Ventura Blvd. Oxnard, CA office was very professional and worked with me. I wasn't ready to but the day I came in. That was cool with him. He gave me his business card an every time I went there I called to make sure he was working and I had no problem at all. The delivery staff s just as professional. read more

I am pleased with sale and style of furniture, however delivery is a different story. Almost missed delivery when he showed up earlier than expected. When unloaded one piece, it was damaged and returned. They wanted to deliver replacement piece during week day I asked for weekend and after hassling with the manager l got a weekend delivery. When the replacement came it was the same piece of damaged furniture. I sent it back again. I asked for a weekend delivery of undamaged furniture they balked again and said no weekend delivery, I asked to speak to the manager. Girl said that they can deliver on weekend and will call back with date and time. Three days later I am waiting for return call. I guess I will get my piece of furniture delivered either when I can not accept /reject it. Not sure who runs delivery there but customer service is the lowest priority. read more

Not a place to go if you are looking for something of quality. The first delivery attempt of my piece of furniture it arrived in a box nicely packaged. However, the piece of furniture inside was poorly assembled. One of the drawers wouldnt close. The moulding was missed aligned and had a big gap. They took it back and a second attempt was made. This time it arrived no box and appeared to be the first one taking apart and reassembled. This time the drawers had no runners so they just fell out and the moulding looked like someone just put a gob of glue in the gap and squeezed it together. It was a horrible mess. I refused it again. I third attempt was made. This time it looked like a different piece however it arrived off the truck with no packing materiel and the piece had numerous scratches and appeared like a used piece from a thrift store. I called my sales rep to inquire on what to do. She said I will have the manager call back ASAP. Well no call yet and it's been nearly a month! And over two months since I bought the damn thing! The only correspondence I recieve in return are emails on how to rate my experience. Well... Such a bummer and let down on the part of Ashley Furniture. read more
