Or about how I got an insane deal on said bed (a real, name brand bed: Sealy Posturepedic to be specific... the gel series)... it was about $300 less than a similar bed I saw online. Or, I could speak about the kind, very un-pushy salesman that aided me in my bed-picking. But that wouldn't tell the whole story. In reality, I ran into this store in desperation. I was moving the next day, I needed a bed, and not just any bed, but a nice, comfy, homey bed. And I needed it delivered, box springs, bed frame and all, and set up (because hey, I'm a girl, and beds are large, unwieldy and heavy). Bedzzz Express helped me pick the perfect mattress, worked with me to get it delivered (for free!), and even sold me a discounted bed frame. All in all, the LEAST stressful part of my entire move. Our purchase decision was spread out over a couple of…read moremonths, and we actually began our mattress search with online retailers, including many of the bed in a box companies. But the idea of never getting to test the mattress until it arrived at our home chased us away from the online companies. The store is conveniently located and a nice, clean atmosphere. Richard was very accommodating and extremely informative. We of course started at the front of the store, where the more expensive mattresses were located. But we worked our way back to mattresses which were still quite comfortable but had less sticker shock. We took notes, and we left to check out the competition. The other guys had good deals as well, but never the same personal experience that we got from Richard at this Bedzzz Express. We kept coming back, and this is where we finally made our purchase. The deal was good, including a military discount because of our son's service in the Coast Guard. Our delivery date was delayed because of the remodeling project in our room, and we even had to push it back another week when other elements of the remodel weren't ready. The company was very accommodating the whole time, the delivery arrived on time and the delivery crew was very friendly.

It wasn't until I got to Pelham and met Greg that I decided to buy a mattress. We went through the awkward and fake "becoming best friends" experience in all the stores we visited. I had to argue with one Bedszzzz manager because he wouldn't accept my assessment of the size of the mattress I was replacing. Without exception they all wanted to start with a higher line than I had said I wanted. Greg stood up, smiled, and said, "How can I help you today," and the experience got better from there. He didn't have the size I wanted in extra firm, but he brought in another size of the same mattress from the warehouse and let me try it. I told him I liked it and he gave me a price that was 10% to 20% better than the same mattress in other stores. I asked him about delivery. Greg looked out the window and saw the Honda CRV I was driving and said, "If you want to go over to the warehouse just down the road, the mattress would fit in my car and I could take it home today. Then I could bring the old mattress back at my convenience." As he was writing up the order, I learned his name and we talked about his kids and my grandkids and had a very pleasant visit. I don't suppose, at my age, I'll be buying many more mattresses, but if I do, I hope Greg is still there 'cause I love his service. BTW, I love the mattress, too. I called on Friday because I heard they were having a pretty good sale going on. I spoke to Ryan and he was confident we could find a mattress for me within my budget AND get me an adjustable frame as well; all while staying in budget. Saturday evening comes around and I pop in and he immediately takes me to the serta. not bad, but I wasn't blown away. I suggested a tempur pedic even though the adjustable bed frame would be additional to the mattress because of the brands specific requirements for the warranty. still, not terrible pricing. he showed me 3 different styles, made sure I flipped over on it multiple times, just how I would with sleeping, etc. We picked out the best one for my price and negotiated a little bit and ended up in a good spot. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and even made sure my 4 year old son was entertained with legos while we were there. The customer service from Ryan exceeds my expectations and I highly recommend seeing him if you're shopping for a mattress!!!

The man was very friendly and said that even though he was about to close, he would stay open if we really needed a mattress. When we got there, I was so shocked at the prices!!! Apparently they operate similarly to stores like TJ Maxx where they get discontinued mattresses and such and sell them for SOOOOO cheap. It was just a no-frills warehouse type place, so don't expect the inside to be all fancy with displays. He had some mattresses laid out front as well as TONS in the back storeroom. The best part was that all the prices were negotiable. Even though the "Sale" price tags on our two mattresses were $995 and $499, he immediately offered us a deal. We got 2 nice Sealy and Serta mattresses valuing at almost $3k (full total retail) and only spent $956!!! He also threw in some mattress protectors. I was looking for a new dryer. They were a little more pricey than at Lowe's. After waiting around for awhile I started to walk out when an employee asked me if I wanted help. We went through the buying process and we set it up to be delivered Monday and to take the old dryer. That employee was the only one on that store at the time Fast forward to Monday. It's 7:30 pm and no one has delivered a dryer to me and no one has called me. I really don't like to have to start acting the crazed customer but I will! The dry came a little after 8 pm. The driver said he was not technically allowed to install dryer but would. I guess that a cya on his part in case it doesn't work. Never the less the dryer is now installed and appears to work. I still doubt I'll use this store again.
