Taxes were charged, so I didn't understand the check vs cash problem. The item is beautiful and looks great. Just difficult in dealing with people who should be more professional in a service industry. We were charged an additional 150$ on the install for not having the right tip and having to go to the store to get it...We feel it's something that they should have put on themselves. Instead, we were told that our house could have blown up had he not checked, huh???!! Wouldn't a professional installer check their work properly to make sure that doesn't happen??? Seems like a moot point.

I have used Plumbarama in the past for my plumbing but had no idea until i passed by their showroom that they sell and install fireplaces, too. I have had a fireplace since i moved into my home about 17 years ago that i never used because it was just wood burning. I had some decorative candles in there, which i never lit either. I really wished i had a way of enjoying my fireplace and actually get heat from it as well. I stopped in the showroom and to my surprise, i was greeted and able to discuss my options with a knowledgeable woman who explained that there are easy ways to make this happen. I picked out a gas log set that i liked and the plumber came out and ran my gas line right into the fireplace. Now I have a beautiful gas log set that i really enjoy and is super easy with a remote. Ummm sir for $1400 this bed should be strong and sturdy enough! I'm then told the piece will be in later in the week. So now here we are waiting for a piece of particle board to be replaced that will only break again. After seeing reviews of this happening to so many people, at this point I just want a refund and they can come take the bad quality bed and use it in a bonfire because that's all it's good for. I will not stand down and I will be looking into resources to make sure they don't do this to anymore customers. As consumers we spent a lot of money in that store and I refuse to be taken advantage of. For $1400 I shouldn't have a "fixed" bed. BBB has been contacted along with the credit card company I used to purchase my furniture. This to me is worth following through with every legal aspect possible and I will be pursuing compensation for financial damage as a dissatisfied consumer. The stores are now ignoring my inquiries and refusing any further assistance in the matter. And BTW check your service contract! The phone number that showed up to contact about delivery was caller id'd as "Best Buy". Your service contact is with Best Buy, NOT Jeruselem! Best Buy furniture up on grant Ave I'm assuming! So they "partner" or something with Best Buy who sells the same exact pieces for hundred less. I won't buy From either place and will spread the word to avoid both at all costs. It is mostly women's clothing, but there is also a small section for men so they won't feel left out. My husband even found a great pair of shoes! There was a small selection of women's shoes too. Their inventory changes by the day. I walked out with shirts, dresses, a shacket and all kinds of items ranging from $10 to &15 to $25, and the most expensive piece I bought was a dress for $50. All in, I estimate I got close to $1,000 worth of merchandise for just $162. That is unreal. This place has quickly become my favorite store, and I will absolutely be making the drive back many more times. If you have not been yet, do yourself a favor and go!

First off-- The lack of communication and unprofessionalism is top notch. What a horrible way to run a business. They have a very rude and negligent receptionist who will tell you she's worked there for over a year, but makes noteworthy mistakes. I originally ordered a couch from them that was too tall and didn't fit through my door, so I exchanged it for something else that happened to be cheaper. I was told my couch would be delivered that following Saturday and I would receive a store credit for the difference in price. So with that in mind, I decided to come back with my dad for more furniture whilst he was also looking for a sofa. I found a piece of furniture I liked and while checking out, that same receptionist (Marsha) tells me I no longer have that store credit. She gave me very little information but said she was yelled at that morning because she put the money back on my credit card when she was doing the exchange for the new couch I ordered. I was still confused and found out AFTER I LEFT, that not only did she put the difference in price back on my card (which really isn't a big deal...) she actually CANCELED my entire exchange and put the original couch I bought first and the new couch(that I was expecting the next day) back on my card... and the BEST PART is NOBODY LET ME KNOW. She got yelled at that morning (rightfully so) and no one even thought to call the customer?!??? WTF!!!! I will acknowledge that the manager Sue was very nice, apologized for the inconvenience and made it right, by giving me a discount. Overall, this experience was a constant frustration. Second---- the delivery process SUCKS!!!!! They use an outside delivery company that sends you a "courtesy" call (and I say that very sarcastically) for the approximate time frame to expect your furniture. Well for my new couch, they called me yesterday and gave me a window between 2pm and 7pm. When I called at 7 to see how far away they were they told me they could get to my apartment in an hour... well I tried to call them and nobody answered. 2 hours and some change went by and They came at 9:45pm!!!!! They should take notes from Raymour and Flanagan (they call you when they are 15 minutes away) When I tell you I am beyond disgusted, I'd rate this entire experience a black dot. They don't deserve any stars in my book. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I will never recommend them to anyone nor will I ever use this company again.
