However, I need to personally thank Pauline and her staff at Xclusive for keeping my lashes safe! Since I'm unable to get them filled given the quarantine I no longer have any extensions on, but thanks to the skilled staff and cleanliness of Xclusive, my real lashes look amazing! They are long and healthy just like before I put them on. Oh did I mention I have had them on for 6 years without ever taking a break! I am astounded and don't feel upset about having to wear mascara for a little while! I'm also not even contemplating not putting them back on because I know they will continue to keep them healthy! I have been getting my lashes done for three years consistently. Moving to Newport from LA, I was concerned I would be able to find a salon that could do as good of a job as my former long time lash lady on the west coast. Upon entering the salon you will be welcomed and then sit down with the owner for a minute to look at the different lengths, types and curls of eyelashes. Then you will pick out your desired shape and will be shown pictures if needed. Then you are taken back to the application area which is simply a massage table. Take off your shoes lay down and get comfortable under a blanket, close your eyes and drift off for an hour of sleep while the jeyelash owner works her magic. Yes, the owner does the lashes herself! Once lashes are applied, you are handed a bottle of water and sprayed with a refreshing face spray for setting and hydration. The salon is quiet and very zen music plays overhead...think spa. All of the tools are opened in front of you, many minutes are spent prepping your own lashes and examining the last set of extensions to remove the ones that are too grown out. Each time I go for my fill I am blown away by what a great job is done and how relaxing the process is. I give Jeyelash 4 out of 5 ONLY BECAUSE of the price! I was not expecting to pay Beverly Hills lash extension prices here and I think many clients who might be open to trying extensions would be turned away from the cost of service.

Due to a bug going around she had to cancel my appointment that was exactly one week since the application. I unfortunately have maybe 6 lashes on each eye now it being 4/21. I'm super disappointed with the lasting effect of my lashes. Running a hair salon I know how important it is to please clients and meeting half way is a given. I followed up with her right away because I enjoyed her as a technician unfortunately she couldn't manage to schedule me for this week. I've gotten my lashes done by a handful of different lash artists, and Sophia is by far the best. Never in my life have I dozed off on the table, but she is SO gentle, and if there is any uncomfort she will adjust for you.
