I got there, and I was told by Carrie that she never spoke to me on the phone, and hadn't set up any appointments that day. Ok, bold face lie, kind of annoying but ok. I had already taken a cab all the way across town to attend this "appointment" so I wasn't about to turn around and leave.. So I ended up getting a massage from Carrie (who does this weird twitchy blinking thing, which was entirely unattractive) of which I paid $200 for, and I was rushed out of the parlor after only 45 MINUTES of my 1 hour time slot... The WORST service, from the most bottom of the barrel women in all of Calgary. DO NOT GO TO CARRIES.

The price for each was CAD96 plus tax for an hour which felt very fair given the high quality of the massages. Definitely recommend!

When I did enter though it was quite dark and I honestly felt I had travelled to some massage parlour from the 1970s. The furniture, plastic plants, styrofoam cups and the whole feel of it made me feel I had just travelled back in time. The rates were jiffy markered on a piece of paper that was taped to the wall. 1/2 hour at $40, hour at $60 and 1 hour at $80. The woman working there was very friendly and she explained that there were only 3 rooms and that you didn't really need to book in advance. Hours are from 10 am to 10 pm, it was all very up and up but I must honestly say it did leave me wondering!

So I suppose it's in the vicinity of the lake side. The now realized exorbitant price for a massage here offers no change rooms, no robes, no teas, no private relax area, no shower, nothing that would constitute this place being able to be called a spa. The massage was mediocre. I booked a therapeutic which was more a relaxation with the added cost. My areas of concern were barely addressed. The beds were comfortable and they did offer a plastic cup of water. They advertised direct billing to insurance providers and we did not receive this either. I regret coming here.
