I do not recommend this store at all. Absolutely awful service and poor management of the coordination and communication of my delivery. Not only did they not confirm the delivery time of my order until I had to chase them down, but they also did not communicate to me that I would be charged a delivery fee of $70+ dollars. Do not order from this store. We ordered a couch set in mid March. A delivery time was set for May. We sold our existing furniture in May. After the furniture was not delivered we followed up to learn that it was pushed back to June. We followed up again to learn it has now been pushed back to late July. 1- No one has communicated anything to us. We have done all the legwork and follow up. 2- No one has offered an apology. 3- Management should've been up front about potential shipping delays presale. My wife and sister went there to look for a love seat. Found one they liked and was told the price was $499. Went back the next day and the same salesman told us that was $620. When we asked about the $499, he admitted that he told my Wife that yesterday, but could not sell at it that price. 1st excuse is the computer would not let him. 2nd excuse was that price was "at cost" and he would get fired if he sold it at that price. 3rd excuse was that he could sell at that price but would not make any money. Upon calling the customer service number on my receipt, I was told a price match could be offered, prior to reaching a supervisor to perform the adjustment. Once connected with the supervisor they told me nothing could be done. Confused, I requested another supervisor who told me the same thing. Upset and irritable, I tried calling the store (Chattanooga Outlet location) for help; Spoke with a woman named Kim who told me she and/or the sales mgr would call to assist in this. Never having received the call, I attempted again the morning of 9/27/23. A man answered and rudely told me after explaining I was calling to speak with the sales mgr on an ongoing issue for my recent purchase, he very rudely and dismissively told me his mgr was "on the truck helping" and would call me back. I gave my number and before I could even ask if he needed a name or email, the guy hung up on me. The salesperson who assisted me, Adam, in store when I made my purchase was friendly, and I spoke with him in a follow up during a second call same day, 9/27. He mentioned his mgr was out (still) and that he or the mgr would call back today to assist/follow up. Within about 15 minutes, I received a text claiming the couch is not available online, even though advertised, and that since this is a franchise location they would not be assisting. I would not recommend this store at all unless you are comfortable with significant inconsistencies, difficulties with customer service, and want to pay a third party delivery fee so that your invoice does not show any delivery fee and thus they are unable to assist in reimbursing for delivery charges in any amount for third party company utilization. Previous purchases with the brand promised in-house delivery for little to no cost vs. a third party fee with tiered pricing. Extremely disappointed and frustrated that a simple price adjustment of only $29 has taken and is taking over 4 days, nearly a week to solve. I would say generally, the majority of people will/would fare better elsewhere, unfortunately. If you do shop here, good luck and be sure to cross check their site for price variance to ensure you are not being given another story. Customer service in store was good during purchase. However fulfillment of order and delivery is the reason the service rating isn't highflier. I was bombarded by tears and calls to confirm delivery. We did confirm and received an email the next day letting us know the steps to take to get a smooth delivery experience-- clear space for new furniture, pathways, put up pets, etc. However our delivery time came and went with no new furniture. Calling to check on the problem was a problem itself. 5 calls of which I can only surmise 4 were auto disconnected; I finally got connected and was advised the piece was not in stock ---not available!! I wonder why in the world a delivery was confirmed yet the piece wasn't available to deliver!!?? Horrible horrible practice! I'm still waiting for furniture and answers!! Unacceptable. This review is aimed at the delivery service this store uses. Allen, the gentleman I dealt with in store, was helpful. He was very easy to work with. The delivery service this store uses is the reason for 3 stars. R2 Delivery is not a good service. If they can't deliver your order for any reason (my case was the first couch wouldn't fit in my door due to its size and my place's dimensions) you still pay them FULL PRICE! At the very least they should discount 50% if the delivery in unsuccessful. But then when they came with the second couch that was measured to fit through my door, I was charged 40% more than what I was expecting. The delivery was only supposed to be $100, but I ended up paying $240 ($100 for the unsuccessful delivery and $140 for the successful delivery). When they send you the receipt it's not itemized to tell you EXACTLY what you pay for. My advice is to either A) buy your item at the store and pickup it up there or B) the store needs to find a new delivery service that is more professional about their billing practices. read more

If I could rate them a 0 I would. I paid cash for a sectional that I had chosen from sitting on one on the show room floor. Thinking that I would receive the same one upon ordering, I discovered this was not the case. The material was completely different and it was not as comfortable. I called to request a refund, but the manager was really ugly and he just repeated that the material was the same in the furniture I received and the furniture that was on the show room floor. Purchased sectional, salesman was very professional, good experience with him. After that all is downhill. They give you a 3 hour time for delivery. 10:45- 1:30 time frame for me. It is now 5:30 and still no merchandise. Called the store number and it is a call center that answers and has NO INFORMATION whatsoever on delivery. At 2:00 I asked for the delivery driver to contact me, so I could find out a time, as we have things to do. Canceled those appointments still waiting for my delivery. Customer Care service is useless and after reading reviews this is a ongoing issue. I should be refunded the entire delivery fee of 190.00. If my order that is already paid in full, does not arrive today. I will be at the store first thing tomorrow for a full refund. I suggest you look up reviews for Ashley Homestore and buy elsewhere. read more

Didn't know about this place and only found out about it from Yelp. When you go in, it is part regular Ashley store with clearance items primarily in the back. They do also sell mattresses and they do offer discounts. Our salesperson, Micah, really worked with us in trying to get things for our spare rooms. Go check it out! read more

No, I DO NOT RECOMMEND shopping at Ashley Furniture unless you know their return/exchange policy. I posted a negative review on April 22,2023 and received a quick reply which LEAD ME TO BELIEVE that they were going to take care of my issue. However, the email and phone number they provided were still A TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME. Absolutely NO REPLY on the 2 emails sent so, I decided to text on April 26, 2023 and received a reply immediately. To make it short... I was told the SAME THING ("NO REFUND OR EXCHANGES UNLESS YOU RECEIVED THE WRONG OR DAMAGED ITEMS.") I had ALREADY mentioned that in MY INITIAL NEGATIVE REVIEW. ALSO, the store gives you a 4 page receipt with a customer signature line on the last page which they do not ask you to sign. I also did not notice a return policy posted in the store. We had a great experience in the store with our sales rep and received a good deal, however, that's where it ended. We were told it would take up to 7 weeks to receive our furniture. We ordered our furniture on July 11 and about 6 weeks in we received a text saying our delivery date. 2 days before delivery we received another rescheduling our date. Then received 2 phone calls rescheduling our delivery date. Finally able to talk to someone and set up delivery for the 20th and never received a call about time etc. I called someone the day before a scheduled delivery and they said there was no record of any calls or a delivery and that our furniture wouldn't even be completely in until SEPTEMBER 8th!!!! We are extremely frustrated at the customer service we have received and the multiple times delivery has been scheduled and set up for it to be postponed again!!! We will never do service with Ashley Update: sent over my order info received an email saying someone would contact me. I have yet to receive a call or a response back to my emails. After my first visit to this location being so poor I should have not returned but I decided to give it another chance. I went to the store based on a Facebook Marketplace Ad listed. The ad listing was a leather couch for $799. When I arrived the leather couch listed was only available for purchase for $799 if you buy it in a set for $1600. So I looked through the store for a second option. I found an option that I liked but was told it was "sold". I ultimately made a purchase of my third selection. Two days later another Ad popped up in marketplace for the exact sofa that I was told in-store was "sold" and not available. I messaged the store associate and he said I could come in that day and purchase. It seems the associates in this store post things on Marketplace that are priced differently when you arrive and/or not available. Very unprofessional business practices and a disappointing experience. I called the customer response line but their only course of action is to call the store directly. read more

Worst customer service ever. Ordered furniture, paid cash. Delivered damaged item. Scheduled to replace damaged couch, confirmed delivery on Wednesday for delivery today. 5 minutes before delivery window received a text asking us to confirm delivery for another day at the end of the month. Called to get clarification and was told couch not available until end of month and that there was nothing they would do to make it right. Told to look at our contract and see that they make no compensation for inconvenience not will they refund money if we return all the furniture. We just KNEW we were in good hands shopping at an Ashley Store. NOPE!!! I am BEYOND DISAPPOINTED in the service received from this store. The initial sales rep was very nice but, NO ONE explained that they have a NO RETURN or EXCHANGE policy unless your item is damaged. Once you pick up or sign off on delivery YOU ARE SCREWED. We ordered barstools taller than what they were able to show us in the store. When my husband put one together, it was too tall for our island. We only wanted to EXCHANGE them for shorter ones. We REALLY thought this was going to be a simple exchange. SMH!! After calling the store and the Guest Care Team many many times, I finally got someone to answer and was told a supervisor would be contacting me - I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. SO... I never felt pressured by the sales staff but they were attentive and professional Allan was the salesperson that assisted me. They have great sales and fantastic deals on clearance. They sell junk, and they know it! If something goes wrong, it WILL be the customer's fault, and they will give you the run around, because they refuse to fix it. I even offered to pay them to fix my couch, and was refused! We purchased a mattress with an adjustable base from this location, was told the base was "new in the box." We did not actually go into the back to lay eyes on what we were told we were buying. OUR mistake. The next day, we drove back to this location to pick up the mattress and bases, the base was in a box. We get home to realize that the accessory kit was not in the "new box." I have contacted this store on multiple occasions over the last 4 days with no resolution, getting the runaround. The mattress is in the hallway, the base is in pieces in the floor and we have had to sleep on the sofa for the last 4 nights. BEWARE. Although this is our own fault for taking someone else's word and not actually looking at the base in the back of the store, it is highly unlikely that I will ever shop here again. read more

Buy your furniture somewhere else. After an afternoon trying out sectional couches, we picked one out and were ready to buy, cash in hand, no financing. After a lengthy purchase process where they took all our information, we were told the sectional we had picked out was not actually in stock, was not in stock in the nearby area, and no one in the store seemed to know if and when this model would be available. The manager would not sell us the display model we wanted to buy, but tried to sell us a display model of a different sectional! It seems strange they could not (or would not) even tell us something like "there is one in this warehouse and will be here in this many days...". They could only estimate 6-8 weeks AND then wanted to charge us a steep delivery fee! The manager did not seem to care about losing a sale. We will be buying our furniture somewhere else from now on (maybe somewhere who knows what they have). read more

VERY dissatisfied customer. I ordered a couch in store on Feb 23rd and was told that it would be available for pick up by March 17th. I paid someone to take their time and pick it up, got it home and unwrapped it to find that the couch and loveseat were two completely different colors. The couch was sent wrong and when I called to inform them at the store they said there was nothing they could do so I called customer service and after speaking with two extremely rude reps they informed me that the couch would have to be reordered and I would need to bring the other couch back for exchange. Offered a measly $50 gift card to use in their stores. I was quoted NO LATER THAN March 27th my new couch would be ready for pick up.. I call and they inform me that now the pick up has been pushed back to April 6th after AGAIN hiring someone for pick up on the quoted date.. I have spoke with 7 different customer service reps and until the 7th one I was no even given an apology for the inconvenience and her apology was after mentioning how poor their services were and that I hadn't even had any feedback besides "there's nothing we can do." I will NEVER buy another item from Ashley Furniture. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with and have no desire to make things right. I finally got offered 10% back on the couch only from the sales rep which is a big $30 REAL nice from all the mess Ive dealt with, right? HA. I will be so happy to get my couch after TWO months and not have to deal with these people again..
