We finally placed an order over the phone with assurances that the washer would be ready for pickup Friday (make that Monday, after calling Friday). Thank you for a honest and pleasant buying experience.

I wanted to restock my spice rack with something more than just Wal-mart stuff but what they had was a lot of cajun/garlic flavor infused salts, spices and rubs; none of which I was looking for or particularly impressed with. The lady behind the counter did ask I needed for help looking for anything and since what I was browsing for wasn't there I thought I should just look around anyway, it really was a pleasant store. A lot of the items you could get for cheaper online but it's good to support local business if it's just a little higher price tag and their cookware is of very high quality (too bad it's something I can't afford right now) but I did buy a small utility knife and some mixing bowls. The bowls were pretty expensive BUT that knife was surprisingly cheap but awesomely good, I've used it a few times already and am impressed with for something under $10 bucks. When it came time to ring up my purchases the credit card machine was down. A little inconvenient and time consuming, but not a backbreaker. I'm going to keep an eye out for the upcoming classes because I think it will be a fun activity for me the the miss.

I think because I have a lot of kitchen gear already, I wasn't really impressed with their selection. I did find a great stainless steel 13' splatter screen that I've been needing for a while. Cost a good $17 + tax, but it's plenty durable, I just hope it lasts. I think if I was looking for something specific, I might check here. Otherwise I would end up buying something online. They are going to be offering cooking classes in the future, which might be interesting. We'll see how much they cost and what kind of dishes they'll make as I do already know how to cook and love it. I like this store because I love anything to do with cooking and being in the kitchen. I love the name, Ingredients.

The store has signage directing you to the contactless Amazon Return counter. No need for a return label, box, or tape. They box it up and send it back for you, so convenient. Staff scans the return barcode sent by email with no questions asked. I received a 25% off coupon to use in store. Winning. Eventhough I never plan on shopping I have used the coupon everytime. I must say I have a love/hate relationship with Kohl's in general but this location is one of my favorites. My only complaint is that it's not handicap accessible at all (it's an old building there isn't much they can do to change that unfortunately) and it gets HOT during the summer, there doesn't seem to be any AC but they do have a lot of fans around that help! When checking out today I was drenched in sweat, and the cashier mentioned how nice out it is and I agreed but said it's a little warm inside, and she just started arguing with me telling me that it's not hot in there at all (it was easily over 95° in the building, especially in the back where there is no air flow) another coworker seemed to try to deescalate the situation and explain that they're just use to it being even hotter in there, and I agreed with her because this was nothing to fight over. But the whole experience was so weird and tone deft. I'll still be back, usually the staff is very friendly. I guess just don't mention the temperature lmao
