Long time customer, will NEVER again purchase from Ashley HomeStore! Quality of furniture has declined and customer service is deplorable. $6000 bedroom set delivered with a few drawers not functioning properly. Delivery person said it wasn't major enough to refuse, repairs would be made at my home. Over the past 6 months, I have engaged in 48 phone calls, texts, technicians, no shows, and deliveries. Yes, you read that right, I kept track of all 48 encounters. Never spoke to the same person twice, most of whom had no authority other than to read a script and promise to have a manager call back. I spent numerous hours on the phone and took 5 different days off work to accommodate third party repair service (same technician came twice and now a drawer is unable to open at all), 2 days that Ashley said a tech would come but they never actually scheduled the appointment, as well as a day for replacement furniture delivery (which was damaged and refused). In the end, I reluctantly agreed to keep the furniture "as is" for a 30% refund on one piece of furniture. I was credited only 23%. After another call, I was credited only another 4%. Calling "Corporate" only guided me to the same Customer Service I have been dealing with. I'm done with Ashley HomeStore! read more

We purchased a sofa sleeper, 2 chairs and some bar stools. The quality is outstanding! Our sales person James McDermott was great. Very patient and knowledgeable. He was able to get my purchase delivered within 3 days! I received text messages and automated calls keeping me posted on everything. Unfortunately my sofa was backordered and I had to wait another 2 days but it was fine. When the delivery team showed up, our door was too narrow and they couldn't get the sofa in. I called the store (customer service was great) and requested another delivery team, which took another 2 days. I was anxiously praying that they would be able to get the job done. ALL of the delivery staff were extremely professional and wanted to get the job done....but the last guys were phenomenal! They knew exactly what to do and was in & out within 10 minutes. Nightmare! I opened a Yelp account just to warn people of this store by sharing my experience. I have never shopped at Ashley's so when I received a bill in the mail for a $2000 purchase from this location I called and asked for the manager. His name is Daniel. He was SO AWFUL to deal with, he refused to help me or give me any guidance and told me to call the police. Then he transferred me to a woman named Tasia who could "better assist me". She was even worse! What a complete joke this woman was, telling me I should "take more pride in protecting my identity". I have never shopped at Ashley's and after this experience I never will. Burbank location you are awful and should be ashamed. Update: After filing a police report for fraud the detective informed me that this happens at Ashley's in Burbank often. They offer a kiosk to open an account to purchase furniture. read more

Received our Jarreau sofa chaise sleeper and its very nice. The color is wonderful and goes with the decor. The cushions are a little stiff but I'm sure in time they will soften up. The delivery came during the expected time and the delivery men were great. James was a wonderful person to work with and made my experience a breeze. After my purchase, the price dropped. I called James and he was very accommodating. They credited me the difference. This was my second purchase from Ashley Furniture, and I will continue to shop there in the future read more

We had a great shopping experience at Ashley Home store on South Cicero. Our sales person Monique Perez was professional and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. Monique Perez showed us exactly what we were looking for, a sofa and love seat set. We happen to go on a sale day that we bought the recliner too. On our delivery date the Ashley Home store movers Sammy & Mike did a great job setting up and placing my furniture where I wanted. They were fast and careful at bringing in my furniture. Thank you!!!
