I worked with this company for my web re-design. George seemed eager to help me, and his price was…read moreright, so I moved forward. That's where all the good stuff ended. The website he designed for me was just as OLD and faded looking as the one that I had previously (as others have said, antiquated), gaining me nothing. Also, there was a TON of mistakes in the spelling and grammar, which I thought was very odd (these are ADVERTISING people, after all, and should know how to spell, I would think?). Now that I've read other reviews however, it makes sense to me that he was subbing out the work to India or another country, whose first language was not English.
Admittedly, I was slow to respond to many of his inquiries, because I am a working owner and I thought (mistakenly) that a web design person would be able to come up with their OWN ideas of how the website should look, given their (supposed) expertise in web design, matching that particular client's industry with relevant images and text. That turned out to be a wrong (bad) assumption as George didn't seem to be able to function whatsoever without constant input from me. Disappointment.
More than anything else however, his work has caused a major glitch in my website, which has been flagged by Google as "malware", so Google will no longer advertise my site. I have lost a TON of revenue because of this snafu. This also makes more sense if he was subbing it out to another country, as I imagine they may not have the same malware protections as we might have here. I also spent many hours with my Google advertising partner, including them in emails with George, trying to get him to understand what went wrong and (hopefully) come up with a fix that would let my Google ads run again properly.
Unfortunately, George never took ANY responsibility towards fixing these issues, and I am now having to have another 3rd party (at my own $$ cost and hassle) re-do the website yet again, so they can find and fix whatever malware George and his people put on it. He simply wanted to charge me more $$ to fix the issues that he and his company created, so I refused. But it really pains me that people in business can have no integrity and refuse to fix obvious defects with their product or service and instead, turn it back around on their client.

OH, and I love how I was "abusive and rude" when there was a total lack of competency on their part(s) (lack of proper spelling and grammar, for example), which was only discovered long after the fact, but is being completely unaddressed here, as usual. Yes, the person paying you the money for your expertise has NO SAY in the quality of product that they receive.
UPDATE: As expected, my new website builder went through the history of my website build and found that there was significant malware on the site that George built. Although I'm not one to lean toward litigation, the damage he caused to me and my company most certainly warrants it. Especially when he (to this day) takes no responsibility for that damage and tries to turn it around on me somehow that it was all MY fault. Wow.
