Management is not responsive to tenants. HVAC, plumbing, common areas go without repair-- even if it is 98 outside in summer or 25 in winter. The lack of concern is apparent in the way they talk to you. For the money, there are other options... better options for your ULM students. (Parent) read more

Former resident moved out in may 2025. The apartment charges luxury prices in the area for mediocre delivery. Roads are littered with pot holes, my apartment had black mold in the bathroom that they would paint over and tell me they took care of it and also repeatedly said wasn't mold (it was a black mass growing on the wall, it's mold) the gym has a gangle of incomplete or run down pieces of equipment. And despite raising prices and incidents of car related theft they were never able to fix the front gate to the community, wide open almost 24/7 so do not consider the community gated. And one of the managers in the office always talks to you like you're the world's biggest inconvenience for wanting to pick up packages or put in any kind of request. read more

Awful experience living here. Refrigerator went out and it took 4 days to rectify the situation. AC went out on three different occasions. The 2nd time it took over a week to fix during the hottest part of summer. It has now been over year since I moved out and still have yet to receive my security deposit. I left the apartment in better condition than when I arrived. I have called over 100 times and only have been able to speak to someone around a dozen times on the matter. Each time I am given a different excuse of why I'm not being taken care of. It's really frustrating considering how pricey these apartments are. read more

Beware, the new management is ruthless, after having lived here for 4 years, they expect a spec , clean, spotless apartment when you leave. They never tell you what they expect and when you hand over the keys, they don't acknowledge the receipt of the keys, and after several emails, they ask where the keys are, and then, they tell that the apartment was not cleaned thoroughly as if I had to hire a professional to make is spotless! Current residents and future ones, beware what you sign up. read more

We are very disappointed in the change of management! The two new managers have zero customer service skills. Sara was the only person in that office who made us feel welcome in our own community! We looked forward to living here for our third year knowing that she had moved into the property manager position. Unfortunately, we found out today that she is no longer with the property! The women that are now managing the property are rude and indifferent to the tenants who currently live here. It is very disheartening that we pay so much to be treated like we don't matter. We have been in the office and overheard the things that these women say about the other residents. I will no longer recommend Ashford Place to anyone, nor will I tell people how much we love living here. Once our lease is up, we are moving. It hurts to see other apartments post on Facebook about how much they love their residents, only to see your once fabulous apartment community only making posts which are trying to get new tenants in. The only reason we moved here was because it was a gated community; however, the gate hasn't worked in over a year! This place is going downhill fast and trust me, the new managers are making things worse! read more

Plus, there had been some work done behind the toilet as well and you can see the patch work. 911 Handyman had their painters repair and paint all our walls plus the ceiling. They did an awesome job. You don't see the imperfections anymore on the wall. 911 Handyman installed our need molding, and they put together a cabinet that I had bought. They installed our new mirror, vanity with sink and faucet along with a new light fixture too. Our bathroom looks beautiful. The contractors were friendly, very clean and respectable too. I normally do not write reviews; however, I really want to give a shout out to my new family. I was transferred with my job to Monroe, La. After countless hours online, visiting complexes, and phone calls, I chose Ashford Place Apartments. Every time I called I was talked to like I was family, like a long lost cousin. When I arrived at Ashford, I was greeted with a smile and fresh lemon water. Which was much needed, as it's some kind of hot in Louisiana. Nothing like Washington. So I got moved in, and have met a few residents, and I really like the gym. I enjoyed Bingo last week. I haven't played Bingo since I was in grade school. I have to go in the office to get my packages, and that's the best part. The young lady at the front desk is so helpful. She has given me several tips on where to eat, shop, and even a local park. I have seen all of the staff out and about on the property and they always speak and ask me how I'm doing. As a single person living alone, I am very grateful for this property and for them making me feel at home and helps me so I don't miss home so much. read more

I have lived at Ashford Place for 4 years also, and think the change of Management is far better. I also think the Maintenance is more efficient and timely. With the last Management it was always one excuse after the other on why something wasn't done. I think the new management is very personable and professional. I think the new management care more about the beautification of the property and satisfaction of the people living within Ashford Place. Greg B. read more

The leasing staff makes you feel very welcome and makes the whole moving in process extremely easy and stress free! I love Ashford and plan on renewing my lease next Summer. The property is quiet and easy going. My neighbors are very polite and I feel safe walking my dog late at night after I get off of work which is very important to me. Great property!! read more

I've only been here a few months, but I've loved living here. I've found the office to be very responsive to any questions or concerns. I feel safe living here and my nephew thinks he's at a resort and loves staying overnight. Ashford Place is close to work and to local services. read more

The new management seems to really understand the residents and what we want. The complex is constantly being updated lately. The weight room has been updated with new equipment, it's nice to not have to leave the property to get a proper workout. Keep up the good work 10/10 read more
