Though a bit complicated to get started, Claire greeted me when I walked in, and walked me through purchasing credits, choosing the right machine, and hooking up to wifi so I could work. She greeted everyone as they entered and checked on people while she cleaned the machines. A fantastic gal. This was the nicest and cleanest laundromat I've ever been in with clean, comfortable seating and lots of folding tables. They also have a wash and fold service that I'm sure to take advantage of in the future.

This week my very very expensive 2-week old…read morewoven cashmere shirt from Scotland came back to me with a hole in the armpit after I asked them to be very careful with it. It was thrown into a machine with regular clothes and treated no differently than a regular cotton tee. Very distressing. I can't be certain that they caused it but they didn't fill me with confidence when I spoke to them about it. They actually showed no concern at all for how the item was handled. I don't even know if they know what gray and cashmere is. The blossom Road location told me I might have better luck at their location when the owner is around. I like to think that maybe I caused the tear myself by accident by not being careful. I'm going to go to Eagles in Penfield just to be safe because this whole situation was really upsetting for me. The shirt costs too much for the business to replace. I should have documented the condition of the shirt before sending it in. I'm going to have my special clothing cleaned elsewhere to be safe. I have had no issues with letting them handle my Italian wool suits.

Came back a week later and another clerk tells me about $10. Asked to speak to a manager. She tells me they would never tell me that price, that is price for a button up (oxford) shirt. Doesn't believe me and then says 'oh, that's my number on the slip. I was your clerk.' Uh, no you're 30 years older and have no nose jewelry or tats. Insists her clerks would never tell me that. But then has the gall to say she was the intake person. Nice. Lady, even if you're not going to budge it's alright to tell me the clerk made a mistake. No need to build a facade. Your mileage may vary. But watch out, if they give a price have it written on the slip. Used to believe Andersons was reputable. No more. Would've left the shirt if it had not been someone's favorite. Do I really need to tell you if the stain came out?

After looking at reviews of several businesses we found they all seemed to be written by the same person....no details just "they were great." Remembering that Urban Valet provides cleaning services for the annual prom gown give away, we decided to try them out. The staff was very friendly and helpful as my wife explained exactly what was needed. In addition to the cleaning, her gown needed to be altered slightly. Staff explained the process and fully reviewed her requirements. The items were promised to be ready by the next Wednesday. On Wednesday we arrived and everything was ready as promised. Both gowns were beautifully prepared and well covered to ensure they could be easily transported. My daughter's gown had a jeweled waist which is not easy to clean but was perfect. I was more than pleasantly surprised when it came time to pay. For a wedding gown, an evening gown with alterations and a man's two piece suit with tie the cost was less than $100.00! I don't know about other locations but the Hamburg site has a very unique feature. In addition to walk in service they offer Drive Through service as well. I have never experienced such a service at a cleaners but intend to use it in the future.
