I had the pleasure of working with Auddy and Salo Hernandez from ASH Concrete contractors after my HOA inspected my driveway and said it needed replaced. Of course, I got the standard 3 bids but to be clear, I was NOT going to simply go with the lowest bid. I wanted the work done right and price would play a secondary role to quality work and good references. It just so happened that ASH was the lowest bidder and provided plenty of references. Not to mention, they do a lot of work for commercial developments and local ISDs. When Auddy and Salo came out, I was impressed by their friendliness. There was a little bit of a language barrier between me and Salo but Auddy was able to fill in any gaps and to be clear, there were NO misunderstandings between what I expected and what they could provide! As a matter of fact, I was so impressed with their pricing and professionalism, I asked them to include a bid on a back patio that I wanted installed also. They stained and stamped it and it looks amazing!! I highly recommend this contractor and will be more than happy to use them in the future and recommend them to my friends and neighbors! read more

Ash Concrete was not my cheapest bid but Auddy was a good talker so I chose them. They did an ok job on my patio out front but left out supports for my two columns that overhung onto where they poured the slab. I had them fill in 3" inside the home so that all of my floors were level. They did a horrible job on this part! The slab is uneven and has hills and dips in it, the slab is over 1 1/2" out of level and 1" higher than the rest of the house, they had put too much concrete in despite me showing them that I needed it 1/2" under the doors. They filled the slab up so high that I couldn't get the French doors open! I has cost me 1,000 dollars to repair the damage and raise the a French doors so far and my contractor is going to probably be charging me another 1,000 to take out all of the waves in the slab. In addition I had another crew start to remove an old sidewalk, they left zero damage to my grass. This company ripped up half of my yard with their Bobcat, when I complained they offered to replace the grass. Also no one on the crew spoke much English making things very hard in the communication department. When I called Auddy and explained how I needed the inside work done Auddy started yelling at me telling me they were going to do the job how they wanted or they would leave. When the job was done I held back 1,000 dollars and they just disappeared leaving the forms still on and the grass ruined. I wouldn't hire these guys to anything technical. read more

It started out well enough, a little non-responsive but we worked it out and they came out to give an estimate. They sounded experienced enough. Granted it was a small driveway job needing pour and finish only as all prep work we did, probably 5 yards and 2-3 hours tops. They confirmed a 7:00am start Saturday on Friday at 1pm and by 7:00pm they called and said the concrete truck was broken down and could not have concrete delivered. I called concrete places and several could have delivered. When I asked to reschedule they said sorry we are booked for 3 weeks and cannot schedule you. I would have appreciated a simple we decline or don't want to response from them as I did a lot of prep work in advance of them coming so it would be simple for them but the cancellation last minute and dismissive attempt at rescheduling said enough about them for me to find an alternative. read more
