Tim is an honest guy doing good work for a fair price and that's all there is to it…read more I brought in my 2018 Ford Escape after the dealership quoted me an insanely high price for a transmission replacement. Chuck and Larry's was able to get me in within a couple of days. I ended up needing a rebuild, which really sucked for a 5 year old car i had only bought 6 months prior. Tim was super patient answering my questions and was up front about the cost (which was a little over half what the dealership quoted me). There were some complications with the rebuild and it took longer than expected, and i felt a lot of peace of mind knowing it was getting done right. Tim found some other problems aside from the transmission issues (ugh!) and gave me good advice on how to triage. The thing I think I appreciated the most was the compassion. Coming off a horrible experience trying to get Ford to help me out, it was nice to work with someone who actually seemed to care, took pride in his work, and had a little sympathy for how much the situation sucked. I hope i never have to go through transmission problems again, but if i do i already know exactly where i'm going.
