The best thing about HF&C is their batter. Also, I don't know what they put in it, but it has a truly delightful flavour. The chips are usually great, especially if you happen to arrive at the beginning of a new batch. Prices have gone up lately and it is no longer a particularly cheap meal, but it is so good that we make a visit at least once a month.
