So these folks never contacted me to explain crap... so. At green dragon, veterans... veterans, veterans! If you ask for 100.00 oz and are a veteran you get a 22% discount every purchase. Meaning, it's an 76.00 oz for veterans no card needed. I was paying more than this at this store with a medical card. Never have I gone here, green dragon, and they didn't have what I needed. Not only employee lack of knowledge, but also customer service ability to handle the situation. i simply needed a small piece to utilize on short notice as mine broke. i called the establishment to ASK "do you have any small pieces/pipes/etc for purchase" the representative on the line CONFIRMED YES they do. i then WALKED to the business.. with my dog. in the rain.. only for them to tell me "sorry we dont have any" and the female helping me said it very sour and with lack of any accountability or remorse that it happened. so i then settled for papers only (which i was going to purchase them and the piece). so i used the atm then was informed i do not get reimbursed for the ATM fee unless i spend minimum of 20$ pre-tax. i dont care about the 3$, but this entire experience as a customer was HORRIBLE. i understand that mistakes happen, but FIX IT as a representative. dont toss ur hands up and say "whelp not my problem" which is basically what she did. i am a very friend and patient person, a nurse, working in patient care daily. this customer service representative needs an attitude check, as well as the entire staff needs a proper understanding of what is going on within the facility. i am a recurring customer. i will NOT be back. read more

Weak buds and even lamer people over here. Their security feel very comfortable treating you like dirt. Last time I bounced through the guard actually cussed at me just because I cancelled my order (and I only cancelled because the guard was being a punk). Of course the management don't do anything... This is my go to cannabis spot, even though there are a few closer to where I live. It's worth the drive! The staff here are absolutely amazing. They're always super friendly, prompt, and really knowledgeable about the producs. A couple days ago one of them recommended a pain relief cream that is working VERY well. Don't remember his name, but he literally saved my back (ball cap and goatee?). Like all cannabis shops, Ascend is cash only, and they have an ATM in the front. What is probably one of the best things about this place though, is that if you use their ATM, they will deduct the $2 ATM fee from your purchase! Never had another place do that! They also have a rewards system, and they can tell you what your balance is so you can decide right there and then if you want to save and rack up, or use it for another time. About the products: HUGE selection. Bath bombs, creams, an array of edibles, pipes, bubblers, and plenty of buds and dabs (though I don't smoke it, so I don't have much input on that). I'm partial to the Wana Sativa gummies, and want to try some of the chocolate bars. Another thing I like that might not make much difference to others, but does to me, is the aesthetic of the place. It's just pretty and well laid out, which makes me happy. A few other places I've been to are small and cramped, and their choice of wall colors makes me anxious lol. Usually my experience here is pretty good. But today was a totally different story. I tried to call the store and no response. Hoping someone will read this to be able to make a change. Today my husband and I bough the $5 joint called Grandpas Stash, it said it was the highest testing so we went with it. Got home to smoke it for football Sunday and it tasted super off. We stoped the joint, poured it out into the grinder to take a look and it looks like it was cut with green tea. There is no high from it and absolutely no weed smell, it smells like it's been cut with spice. Hoping someone there reads this and opens one of those joints up to see what is going on. This place use to be the best but now it's a fraud capitalizing in the tourist. It's amazing how just one bad customer experience can ruin a store's carefully built reputation for service and goodwill. I'm taking the time to write this only because I think perhaps some manager or owner will see this and realize that treating customers with respect matters. Given recent reviews on here, it appears I'm not the only one receiving incredibly bad service and I'm writing this up on every review site I can find. A few weeks ago I got my medical cannabis card. I took the printout of it to the Denver store and was quite pleased with the employees who helped me. I signed up for a membership, got a fantastic discount I didn't expect and was more than happy about it. I was told specifically by that same employee (there were two of them there actually) that rather than continue bringing in the print out of my medical card, I could just take a picture of it and bring that in instead in the future. So that's what I did today. And within three seconds of presenting it (literally), I was told that is not valid and I can't use it. We used to live near the Denver store but recently moved. I had driven all the way from Parker today to buy cannabis at that store, since Starbuds (which is a two-minute drive from my new place) is overpriced corporate junk. I've almost never been disappointed by cannabis from Ascend, so I was okay with making that journey through rush hour lunch traffic. It took me 45 minutes to get there. Then to be told that I can't buy anything when I was following the exact instructions the last store employees gave me a week or two ago...well, let's just say that infuriating doesn't begin to describe how I felt in that moment. As I walked out, I could hear that budtender laughing at me. I'm not kidding. I was furious and her response was to laugh at me. Like I said, I'll never go to Ascend again. I also happen to be a YouTuber with a channel of 35,000 subscribers and I'll be telling them tonight all about my experience at the store today. I doubt it will have much impact on the place but it's the least I could do to pay back the warm kindness I was treated with today. What a sad and disappointing end. Don't go here. I've never had bad experience with product until I tried this place. I am a lightweight when it comes to tolerance but none of the product had any effect on me and it tasted BAD. Great selection & prices for non medical patients (don't know about medical). I've found some of my all time favorite strains at this store. The buds can be small sometimes but it's still great weed. I went to the dispensary for the first time as a medical patient. I brought the folding half card that I have used at Native Roots and other dispensaries. The employee told me that he could not honor my card because it didn't " have the seal at the bottom". I had no idea what he was talking about. He told me to get online and find " the pdf". I had no idea what he was talking about as I had renewed my card in August and any email from them was months old. Further - have you tried to log into the state site - " your password has expired!" Fun!!! An hour at home jacking with the state website until I could get logged in. Found " the pdf" and my card was displayed with a dotted line around it to cut it out - which I had done. Not on the card/ on the bottom of the page was a state seal and the governor's name as part of the stationery. NO WHERE ON THE WHOLE PDF DOES IT SAY THE STATE SEAL HAS TO BE DISPLAYED ON THE REGISTRY CARD! In fact, it appears to indicate to cut the card out.This is the only dispensary to ask for this ridiculous thing when all they have to do is look in their database to verify my standing. It is clear to me that this dispensary does not want medical business - I'm sure it's not as lucrative. Well- I'm going back to Native Roots where I'm treated like a human being and they don't have some esoteric rules - funny I'm a 68 year old woman and I think they also don't want old people. Good. I won't be back and I hope medical clients will take notice and avoid them. read more

I like going to this shop for their extracts. Every now and then I will buy a joint to smoke on the walk home. However, I find my self constantly having to unroll them and roll them myself in my own paper. They seem to be overpacked/too tight and never burn right. Good place to get vegan-organic Ganja in Denver, 2 stars because the chubby bud tender with glasses was a complete asshole and appeared to be under the influences of alcohol or maybe lsd. He couldn't form sentences very well, and appeared very irritated that I was asking questions and wanting to check out all their weed. Not the type of person I want weighing out the product I'm going to enjoy. Definitely left a salty taste in the mouth. Won't be returning anytime soon unless they thin out the douchery. read more
