Called these guys after a family member backed into my garage door while pulling the car out. Scheduled a time for them to come out the day after I talked to them. They sent 2 technicians who quickly repaired the damage, replacing a broken hinge and resetting my garage door on the track. Charged me a service fee ( around 125, i think?) and for 15$ for replacement hinge. They suggested i replace the plastic wheels on my garage door track to prolong the life of the motor, but weren't pushy when I said no. Can't blame them for seeing an upsell opportunity and asking, and appreciate that they didn't push on it. Overall took less than 30 minutes total from the time they got here. Had a good experience with them and would recommend them if you're in a similar situation and need garage door repair. read more

Went silent on me. Never responded with a quote as promised. No response to additional inquiries. Not a good way to do business.

This team did a great job for us on short notice. Our garage door wasn't operating properly (wouldn't close or open) and it was 5pm. They returned our call within a half hour and made arrangements to come by the following morning (since I didn't feel it was emergent). The repair was quick, communication was good and the price in range with other online estimates we reviewed. All work guaranteed for one year. read more

Gustavo came out on a Sunday to replacemy garage door spring. He arrived promptly, was professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They really know what their doing. I really appreciate the 24-hour service as both our cars were trapped in the garage and unable to come in and out before. Definitely recommend. read more

Was having trouble with both garage doors, which are 23 years old. After finding reference to ASAP Garage Doors in our neighborhood FB portal- I called late Tuesday 8/3 and arranged for quote next day. Spencer called to verify appt and then arrived spot on time and conducted a thorough and rigorous investigation and wrote up a quote and explained in detail every step of the process and the reason behind each component to be replaced. Ended up replacing all springs, cables and rollers as they were pretty well worn out.....replaced 1 side with torsion bar/spring but didn't have enough over-head space to do this on the other door so he replaced with new tension springs and both work perfectly closing evenly and level and flush with much less noise. Spencer was very efficient, courteous and professional. He put everything back in place and cleaned up area perfectly. Then he agreed to 1st time user Discount and an all cash pmt. discount! I was very pleased and impressed.........would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Spencer and ASAP GARAGE DOORS for any garage door needs!!!! read more

OMG... these guys were GREAT. I can't tell you how excited and totally satisfied I am with Gus and his work in installing a new garage door for me. My old door was over 40 years old, and my garage door motor went kapoots about four months ago. So I had been shopping around for just a new motor. Well, after talking with Gus and discussing the prices, I decided to spend just a few extra buck and get the job done right. I was so amazed with his work. Everything was done according to our earlier talks and he always confirmed his step-by-step installations with me so there would be absolutely NO surprises. That to me was a genuine mark of a true professional. Every step along the progress was discussed and agreed upon. The other admiral qualities of this company were: 1) meeting and exceeding their time schedules, 2) spotless cleanup after the job was completed, 3) their friendly and energetic nature to get their job done to 100% satisfaction, and finally, 4) their very competitive and affordable prices. After weighing out all of these positive qualities in a local company and their product, I feel assured in knowing and am proud in recommending Gus and his ASAP Garage Door company. Check them out, call for a quote.... could be one of your best decisions in your housing repairs. Satisfied and proudly your patron, Michelle L. Combs read more

Gus installed new garage door motor about 2 months ago and we were really pleased. Good communication, arrived on time, work done well and cleaned up afterwards. Then, last weekend I called him about a possible issue (which turned out to be nothing). He came out on a Sunday to diagnose it and didn't charge. I am so impressed and grateful - highly recommend. read more

Gus runs a first rate operation. Showed up within an hour of my call. Fully explained what needed repairing or replacement as well as the prices of my options. I had a choice of 3 doors. The cheapest did not sound like a good option (you generally do get what you pay for). He then explained that he had installed the more expensive option at his own house and that the floor of his bedroom above the garage as noticeably warmer. I decided to go with that option. I could not be happier. They called to confirm their arrival prior to scheduled time (nice touch). Work was completed and they left no trace. Door works perfectly and my bedroom (over the garage) is soooo much warmer! Loved every part of this experience. Highly recommended.... read more

Owner beware! I used Gus before and he was prompt, thorough and fairly priced. Just recently I requested his help again. He was only at my house about 15 minutes and charged me $150!!! (I live in a nice neighborhood). He also quoted me a huge sum for what he told me was wrong with my garage door. I decided to get a second opinion from the my original company that installed all my doors. Not only was the issue with my door small and inexpensive to fix, what Gus quoted me was $600 more that what it would have cost to replace those items (which my doors didn't need). I rarely write reviews, but I'm hoping to save someone else from ASAP Garage Doors bad morals and business. read more

Came quickly and appeared to do good job. Make sure you get a WRITTEN estimate as they upped the price to twice the quoted amount for a spring replacement...I felt ripped off. read more

Want a company that does not return phone calls or e-mail? This is your company. There was one prior review of Asap - from a guy in California. Must be a relative. Hard to imagine a NC company fixing garage doors in California. read more
