Cora would make an amazing dog for anyone without kids, not wanting kids and absolutely no pets. None. Issue 1: I was told it was $150 on the phone. At time of adoption I was told $300. My paperwork was clearly sitting in eye view and said $150. After pointing out I was told it was $150 I was charged $150. Issue 2: Our 10 minute dog meet and greet, 10 minutes...(Cora and our dog went well enough, one lunge incident that we thought was playful, damn were we wrong). Issue 3: During the 2 minute sign here, initial all these spots. I didn't even think about this but....if they give and offer 6 weeks free professional classes offered for "reactivity" why haven't they given Cora this class on there own? Issue 4: No where in Cora's profile did it state: -She food guards... -She toy guards... (Paperwork from prior surrender stated this.) -She even crate guards... --- in home our dog couldn't even walk near the crate while she's in it. Snarled, shows teeth, growls, barks, side eyes, snaps at air, lunges. -Shes biten multiple (not 1) young children according to the documents. Photo attached of document. ***Apparently this facility does not test these things. They're not important things for them to test or disclose up front.*** Issue 5: this baby lost weight in the care of CRHS... She's probably hangry. I clearly just thought, She'll put that back on at my home and dismissed it. Issue 6: only discovered today a week after this review originally posted but this CRHS has a facebook post about Cora that says absolutely NO dogs. This bit of information, I most certainly know they most certainly indeed did steal my money and knew it. *1 Star review because* -The above undisclosed information. -They will not refund (contract) and/or would not pick up Cora and consider my money a donation covering Cora's adoption fees. I gave them both options. -Cora's white ear was disgusting. See photo ****"My precaution: Please do not have kids period or any kind of pet in your home. No cats, no dog(s), nothing that you love.***** Period.

However, if you don't and realize the animal isn't the right fit for your family after meeting them, they ban you from applying for other pets. They also are very rude and get upset and confrontational if you question them at all.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET RABBIT - PLEASE READ - THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE…read more IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET RABBIT - PLEASE READ - THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET RABBIT - PLEASE READ - THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET RABBIT - PLEASE READ - THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE I write this review from the bottom of my heart, considering the successful and unsuccessful spays of my two pet rabbits, I will try to keep it concise for readers although there are many things I'd wish to say about this place. I took my rabbit, Stormi, here because of their very affordable spay prices. I had to drive two hours away, because most clinics in the Madison, WI area are extremely expensive to get a spay for exotic small pets. I picked my baby girl Stormi up from this location and she was fine, surgery successful, but she looked incredibly traumatized. Rabbits can't speak so all we can do is try our best to understand how they might be feeling, so I attributed this look to the pain and disorientation from being spayed. I think I was wrong. A week later my other bunny, Sunshine, had her spay here. We drove 2 hours and a half to this clinic just to get a call from them a couple of hours later letting us know that my favorite little bunny, Sunshine, had passed away. She was freshly 6 months old, and had no prior illnesses. I regret, so deeply, caring so much about the affordability of this surgery that I put my girl at risk. If you truly love and care about your pets, especially sweet little rabbits, PLEASE don't take the same risk I did. The affordability ISN'T WORTH IT THE RISK OF LOSING YOUR PETS! I was supposed to pick my bunny up that day and take her home, but instead, my boyfriend and I picked up her body (which was on the floor when we got there) and buried her in a shallow grave. The people here do not care about YOUR pet. It is just another animal to them. Please don't go to this clinic, invest in your animals. They love you and they trust you to put them in the hands of vets that will take care of them. I will never go here again - and I hope bunny owners see this so they can look elsewhere. It will break your heart to know that you handed your little bunny to people who (you will feel) killed them. It will bring you pain to go back to your home and see the ghost of your fur baby everywhere you turn. All of the things you are annoyed by, you will wish you could have it all back. Don't make the same mistake I did. PLEASE.
