There are not many Home Hardwares in the area and this one is a regular shop. That is, do not…read moreexpect a supercentre or the like. Moreover, one will brush up against others in the middle of a pandemic. By extension the aisles are narrow, boxes are sitting on top of each other, often blocking the aisle and even more often blocking the shelves themselves! It is inconvenient and likely hampering their sales as well. With that said, and the aforementioned scarcity factor aside, this store has many more things than one would imagine and a good place for items for home or garden or to pick up supplies. Even better the couple running the store are knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help. Unfortunately, the old adage about owners caring like no mere employee ever would is true. This is a good store to ask for help and receive a friendly reaction.

Aisles are narrow and cramped, there's not much room to move around or get past another customer. I was immensely disappointed by my experience shopping here. It won't be on my list to return to in future.

Maybe it's because you were close to it, or maybe because they had an item you couldn't wait two days for. But, when the store is out of the way, and difficult to get to, there needs to be more of a draw to pay the mark ups. And there are mark ups. About 20% more expensive than other places, and more than that if comparing online. But, the curation of the collection is what makes this place stand out. If you're looking for interesting gifts, or novelty items, there are a lot to be found here for all occasions, and you won't have to wade through a bunch of things that don't suit your needs. Everything is pretty great, and you will see things you didn't even know you wanted because you couldn't even imagine they were things to want. It's a lovely location, and worth the visit just to see what's in stock, if nothing else.

Walking in - I instantly wished I had brought an extra duffle bag. Between the aisles of pillows, the kitchen/dining section, and the picture frames - I was in heaven. Fortunately for Hubs they also have tons of furniture, so he was able to find a {super cute} chair up front to relax in while I wandered. B/c my luggage could not accommodate all that I had seen I settled on a really beautiful picture frame to commemorate our visit to Toronto. Check out was super easy - seeing as how they had several cashiers available. And my frame, after $$ conversion was only $7. Yay for HomeSense!

I brought in my beloved bracelet, which was missing 22 crystals, hoping to have it back in time for Christmas. To my surprise, I received it a whole month early! The repair was flawless--each crystal was carefully placed and securely set. I was also very pleased with how affordable the repair service was. Highly recommend!

Walking into the small store I was not greeted or ever attended to. I must have been looking (and touching, usually that causes attention) for 20 minutes before I decided to go up to the girl who was just standing by the cash. After telling her something was on hold she immediately brought out the box, rung it up and gave me my total. She clearly wasn't interested in my purchase and was rushing me through it. Hold on lady - can I see the bracelet before I buy it? Either she was miserable or just didn't want to help me because my experience was overwhelming uncomfortable. The downfall about Swarovski is the return policy. Any exchanges need to be within 14 days of purchase. That is a ridiculously small time frame for an exchange especially on a gift receipt. The girl told me I shouldn't expect to get gift receipts if I'm Christmas shopping this early anyways. I gladly left the bracelet there and made a mental note to never come to this store again.
