Lucas (up front) ran his butt off. Literally running table to table. At one point I think he had 9 tables plus the bar and we really had excellent service. Owner came out and checked with everyone. Thanked us for coming. Food was good, fresh, tasty. Granted, it's a simple menu, but they did it well. Only draw back, not a big fan of pouring IPA in a snifter, not even high gravity. Note: For anything in the 'Burger' section of the menu, you can sub the beef for chicken or black bean burger. The beef patties were HUGE - probably 1/2 pound . And no skimping on the toppings here so go there really hungry or split with a friend. They were messy, drippy, and once you pick the sucker up, you hang on for dear life so the bun or toppings don't slide off. To me, this is the way a truly great burger needs to be! So, prepare yourself - lots of napkins are your friends... Burgers come w/hand cut fries that are beautifully browned. Unfortunately, I opted for carryout so I knew the fries would not be very crispy due to steaming a bit during transit. I'd recommend eating fries there on-site as they will be MUCH better. So why 4 stars vs. 5?? The burger was begging for a better sear and was barely browned.

Either way it's unpleasant. The corners of some of the tables are disgusting, cobwebs and dead bugs crowded by a window next to a large seating area. Service is a hit or miss. Some act like servers, some just ignore you till you walk up to the bar, even if you are just there to eat. A little bit of consistency would be nice. Loud patrons and regulars. There seems to be one small batch of people that come here close to everyday, some of them are respectful and quiet, some of them leave the door to the men's restroom open while they are using the urinal. I also had my daughter with us having lunch there by the way, and the women's bathroom door was next to the men's on the left. And that patron didn't seem to care if he was exposed or not. The food is the only thing that is sometimes consistent. We ordered garlic cheese curds one time and kept getting served the regular ones that was kind of a weird experience. I'd like to come back, but it needs a lot of improvement to welcome new regulars. So I think we'll be going somewhere else for now.
