Housed in a beautiful building right in downtown Waterloo, this space is a lovely refuge to enjoy clay and glass art. I've visited KW area many times before but only discovered this gallery this year. The space is designed so naturally light comes in through all sides of the building. pay attention to how every space is lit inside! I'm a big fan of museums and galleries and believe they add so much to the community. It's also spaces with important storytelling and experience of different art forms. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Staff were friendly and let you wander at your own pace. The interior galleries are not too large. During my visit there were 3 exhibits on display, each taking up one room/area. It did not take long to see everything. I agree with Janice Y. - if you are short on time, you *could* zip through in as little as 15 min. But I would recommend 30-60 minutes so you can really read through all their exhibits, and also artists that are shown in the gift shop - which in and of itself feels like a gallery space too! Lots to see and admire, and be inspired by. And price point ranges from $10 to thousands. So it's actually a great place to shop for unique gifts or dishware items for your own household! In one corner of the building there's an interactive area to draw and reflect on what you have seen. I love when museums have spaces like this! It invites a deeper engagement and understanding of what you have just seen/learned. If you are local, check out their various workshops/classes!

Free entrance with a donations box at the door. You can zoom by here for as little as 15 minutes if you are tight on time. But ideally, a just over 30 minutes would be a relaxed place to explore the art pieces. They also have a little kids' colouring area and a gift shop. There is a range in prices from low, like $15-20~ for a small dish. Most pieces are low hundreds range or below, not cheap but also not an extortionate amount.
