I understand Mr. Appliance they are a…read morefranchise, however, in my opinion, I think whoever runs the one for Pinellas County they should not be allowed to franchise in the area since this is a really big area & could use this type of service. My goto service company for appliances is "Mr. Appliance" in many other cities. I've used this company in general for many MANY years, however, not this particular location/office. I've had exceptional very extremely knowledgeable service for appliances every single time I've called Mr. Appliance in other cities and that was why I felt confident in calling for service from this location. I originally requested service online. I received an email that a tech would be able to service in the morning between the hours of eight and noon then I get a call from their office stating they do not service washer dryer combos. Which is odd because this is the main service that I've had done in various other cities through the same company. However, this office here is unable to service combo units, which doesn't make any sense. Then I called back to ask to speak to someone else, and it was the same lady that had called me and she said the same thing which was the weirdest thing. So I think that if this office can't do something that simple they are either extremely incompetent or just not someone that should be franchising Mr. Appliance in this area. The person on the phone referred me to Michaelson's Appliance Repair of Tampa Bay... even odder. So either the franchise person is incompetent or the ones that run Mr. Appliance in the area is a scam & they refer out. The Google reviews for Michaelson's - place charges a lot so this really all sounds very fishy. I hope the Mr. Appliance executives look into this place.

My refrigerator is still not getting cold and the freezer is not freezing, despite the technician stating the problem was resolved. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of communication. I have now had multiple appointments scheduled with a 3 hour service window, and no one showed up. No call. No message. Nothing. I rearranged my day more than once just to sit and wait for a technician who never came. At this point, I feel like I wasted my money and my time. I do not understand how this company has positive reviews on google, when based on my experience they are the worse. I have made multiple attempts to get this resolved, and instead I have been ignored. I am now pursuing further action to recover my money. If you are considering using this company, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I had a very frustrating experience with Andrew from AB Appliance. He initially came out to repair…read moremy washer and diagnosed it as a valve issue. He replaced a part, but it did not fix the problem. He then said he needed to order another part and would return. A few days later, he texted saying his car had broken down and that he would follow up once it was fixed. Unfortunately, I never heard from him again after that. I ended up contacting the company I originally purchased the washer and dryer from, and they came out the next day, diagnosed the issue properly, and fixed it for less than what Andrew had quoted. I understand that unexpected things happen, but the lack of follow-up and communication left me without a working washer and no resolution. I would have appreciated at least an update or referral so I could make other arrangements sooner.

They were able to come out quickly, however they have a very high diagnostic fee ($259) that is non-refundable. The techhnician that came to diagnose my walk in cooler repair only brought a multimeter, no other equipment to messure pressure. The price quoted to recharge and fix was $1869 (deducting the $259 for diagnostic, would need to pay $1600 extra). This quote included 10 lbs of freon at $1000 total. This seemed really high so I called another company who was able to recharge with 3 lbs of freon for $405 inclusive of labor. The second company told me the system likely wouldn't even hold 10 lbs of freon. The part that needed to be repaired was also different than what I was "diagnosed" by Baro's technician. All in all, very unhappy, Baro refused to refund any portion of the diagnostic fee despite their technician not diagnosing the correct problem and not having the proper tools to diagnose it.
