Specialties

Artists Incorporated Gallery features 56 Alabama artists offering a full range of original, one-of-a-kind fine art and craft in all media: paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media; sculptures in bronze, metal, clay and wood; fine crafts including artisan glass, pottery, fabric art, and jewelry. Exhibiting artists work in the gallery and look forward to meeting you! We have an opening reception on the First Friday of each month from 4:30-7:30. Everyone is invited. It's free and refreshments are served.

History

Established in 1999.

Visit us in the "Little Red Barn" on Morgan Drive in the Rocky Ridge Business District across from Western Supermarket. Our historic red barn was originally a working dairy barn in the 1920's. It is the oldest surviving commercial structure in Vestavia Hills. Everyone is invited to our Featured Artists Receptions at the gallery on the First Friday of each month from 4:30-8:30 pm. Come share refreshments, visit friends, and meet the artists whose work is featured. Ample parking is available.

Meet the Business Owner: Mary Jean H.

I am one of the founders and co-owners of the gallery...there are 8 of us. We decided to open the gallery 17 years ago in order to have a constant place for people to come and view good artwork. It's been a lot of hard work but also rewarding and a lot of fun and we feel we have made a difference in the art world in the Birmingham area.

But this place was open until 6 on Saturdays. I am soooo glad I visited. It has some very creative and amazing art all by local artists for purchase. There is some great talent in this city. . I definitely recommend and also suggest a couple of more unique shops on the same block.
