I was on my way to Egg Harbor, when this store caught my eye on the main road in sturgeon bay. Apparently this store used to be in Egg Harbor, but moved to Sturgeon Bay this year. You can't miss it, its a great big purple house! Inside, there are seven "rooms" filled with stamps. I probably could have spent all day, and a ton of money looking at the entire inventory. What I loved about this store is it has displays above the stamps, giving you an idea of what they would look like colored in. The stamps aren't cheap, but the selection is more unique than you would find in any big box craft store. I shop online a lot (ebay, amazon, joanns, stamp retailer websites) and I found some stamps that I felt were "hard to find." Scrapbookers will love that they sell Door County stamps here. They also sell scrapbook paper, inks, glitters, glues, and a few stickers. I was looking for embossing folders and die cuts too, but ultimately didn't find any I HAD to have. If you like to craft, you need to put this store on your itinerary!

I am certainly glad I acted on the recommendation as Jim has a great eye and I am very much a novice in all matters artistic. He went through a series of frame swatches until I saw one that set off the alarm bells in my head and left the painting in his care. I was more than pleased after receiving it back. Wonderful work, and also at a very affordable price for custom framing (the paining was stretched on gallery boards originally and not a common canvas size either). I can't really speak of the selection of art supplies as, as I stated, I know nothing of such matters, but the painting looks fantastic and Jim was great to work with. Lightning was nice and bright. Kitchen had all the dishes, utensils and other things we needed for our meals. The sleeping rooms were comfortable with nice mattresses, clean bedding and extra blankets.
