This is a fun place to stop on a rainy or chilly day. They have a lot of fun garden items and housewares as well as some interesting art pieces by local artists. It is a mix of "touristy" stuff like paper cocktail napkins with joke sayings on them and nicer things. The outdoor area is particularly nice with interesting glass garden art that I think would work best if you lived somewhere without too much wildlife...or storms...but it is fun to look at! The layout is a little maze-like, but that's sort of part of the fun in my opinion...the store just keeps going and going and going... Definitely worth going here rather than one of the purely "touristy items" places if you're looking for something to do on a day when the weather isn't fabulous! read more

I've been shopping Blue Dolphin for a long, long time. why? Simply because I have not found a shop which offers the quality, variety and contemporary standard of excellence throughout the shop as Blue Dolphin. Wonderful selection. Unique treasures and a friendly and courteous staff. I have NEVER had the experience Sherri R did. If you visit Door County, it's definitely worth the trip. We've been visiting Door County for over 25 years (first with our own small kids and now with our small grandkids) and never had a problem with the sales staff. I'm not saying that Sherri R's experience didn't happen -- but its so different from a lengthy history that we've had that I have to wonder if it was an isolated event or bad karma. BTW, I've found some spectacular gifts for my wife and our home here ... and they been really helpful in getting things shipped home on the QT. read more

I have not had any problems with the staff and have been going there for the last 4 years. This is the place to look to find unique and fun gifts for people. Some of the items are more on the expensive side, but the quality and workmanship is great. I have not been disappointed with their selection each year and always enjoy going back to see what new items they have from the artists that year. read more

Terrible, angry, customer service. The owner was rude to all 4 of us within 10 minutes..I would say skip this overpriced unfriendly place.
