I ordered flowers to be delivered to a friend on New Year's eve. This was a custom designed bouquet. Unfortunately, there was a mixup between my description of the flowers and how the bouquet was made and delivered. This wasn't discovered until the flowers arrived. I called to find out what happened and the only thing they wanted to do was make it right. They said that they would make another bouquet and have it immediately delivered. This was New Years Eve and in less than an hour, my friend had a 2nd bouquet delivered to her. I couldn't be happier with the response. I got from the florist and the customer service they gave. I received a birthday bouquet with a fall theme, and I was happy and so impressed with the artistry and variety of flower choices and additional decorations. The flowers were so fresh. There was a bold, bright sunflower, two Lillie's in an auburn color, and two, exquisite, auburn colored dalias, along with eucalyptus leaves, dried, yellow yarro, and wispy purple, dried flowers. I loved the artificial pumpkin, and the perfect artificial acorn. There were some dark yellow, artificial stalks with leaves and two, very thin, tall, curvy branches that came up through the top and really added to the design. The whole arrangement was stunning and masterfully done! Even the vase was a dark copper color with leaf cutouts on both sides! I will recommend this florist to others and will use them myself! She and her staff went above and beyond to personalize the flowers to accentuate the color of my son's gf's dress. I've included a pic of the beautiful corsage and boutonnière. The corsage was also placed on a gorgeous rhinestone bracelet which was included but not expected. My son's gf was so happy with how they turned out which is what mattered most. I can't say enough great things about Artistry!! As always they were helpful, friendly with great communication and most of all the flowers were gorgeous!! I highly recommend them. I can't even give one star unfortunately. This is the worst place I could have picked! First off, I wanted an arrangement that was featured on their website. It was beautiful. My friend was actually at the place showing them the picture while I was on the phone with her. They fully understood that was what I wanted but yet when the flowers were delivered, it was totally wrong except for maybe one or two flowers. The reason I know this is because the recipient sent me a picture. When I called them to find out what happened and that I wasn't happy the attitude changed and the fangs came out!! Wow! Talk about rude!! I held it together and let them ramble, I actually couldn't get a word in. When I asked for the manager, she was just as nasty!!!! I tried to get the problem resolved but all they wanted to do was go pick up the flowers and make me wait days for a new one!! Now I'm mad, but still holding it together while they continue to yell and talk over me!! Then....... they hang up on me!!!!!! What?!?!?! Anyway, with that being said I'm dealing with it in my own way but wanted to share my experience with this horrible so called business!! Little do they know how many people I will tell about this. AWFUL, just awful! I hired Artistry Florals to do the flowers at my wedding - this included bridesmaids bouquets, bridal bouquet (which was supposed to be bigger and different than the bridesmaids'), corsages, boutonnieres, a domed cake topper and flowers for the cake, and centerpieces for approximately 10 tables. I had ONE moment and (sad) cried once on my wedding day, and it was because of Artistry. The day WOULD have been PERFECT - seriously, perfect. I only have ONE REGRET on my beautiful wedding day, and it was hiring Artistry. It was the 'straw that broke the camel's back,' so to speak. Wedding days are stressful enough, and this sent me over the edge. Yes, I realize this is a seemingly moronic reason to cry, but I was a nervous wreck and a mess. We saved for a year, planned it out perfectly, and like every bride, I needed everything to go smoothly. I know it's an odd thing to cry about, but I was a fragile bride, and it was the perfect storm. Never disappoint a bride! As florists, they should know this. It's ironic that there was ONLY 1 vendor I was absolutely sure would come through - and it was Artistry. Seriously, I was worried about the food, cake, DJ, photos, my hair, venue, etc... but I was absolutely sure Artistry Florals was going to be the one vendor I could rely on. OH - HOW WRONG I WAS! Everyone else gave us exactly what we expected (or more), everyone but Artistry that is. They were on par price-wise with a nearby competitor (I'll forever wish I went with Bella Grace in Davidson), but we made the decision to go with Artistry because my parents knew the owner casually. What a mistake! The bridesmaids' flowers, corsages, and boutonnieres were simple, but fine. My flowers were horrible. First, they were basically the same size as my bridesmaids & were the same color (bridesmaids were to be white, and mine blue to contrast with our dresses). When I held the ribbon wrapped base, they wilted (literally bent) over my hands... they were hydrangeas - this should never happen. After I cleaned myself up, my photographer said she could digitally alter the flowers. (Pitiful that she had to offer this at all.) We meanwhile called Lee (owner), who'd I'd worked with all along, and told her to hustle (she'd brought the first ones late anyway), make the right flowers and get them to the venue. There was a lot of mumbling about excuses and something that happened or popped up resulting in the poor flowers and mix up, and frankly, I didn't care! Not my problem, it's my damn wedding day! The new/replacement ones she brought were the right color at least, but still crappy. She DIDN'T even wrap them with ribbon. Seriously!?!?! She arrived during my bridal shoot (pre-wedding), took the first crappy bouquet from my hands, UN-wrapped the ribbon, then took that same ribbon and haphazardly wrapped the new flowers with the same ribbon. Jeez! My bridesmaids and family encouraged me to let it go. They agreed it was awful, but encouraged me not to let it ruin my day. So I followed their advice - thankfully! (I love them for that!) The wedding was wonderful, and after the bride/groom photos, my gorgeous groom and I enter the ballroom and are embarrassed to see crappy centerpieces. Uh... "let it go" we tell ourselves. Looking back, thankfully I did. And why not? I was in bliss, I'd just married the man of my dreams, and thankfully the venue (The Peninsula Club) was breathtaking and lit with candles. When we go to cut the cake, my husband and I did a double take. Where was the half-dome of flowers on top of the cake we had ordered, and where were the flowers on the tiers? NON-EXISTENT! There was a crappy blue ribbon on top of the cake (HUH? Where the heck did the idea of a ribbon come from? Random!), though there were a few flower pieces of hydrangea on the table. No cake flowers at all!?!? I remained upset long after, but decided I didn't want to deal with the BS of their excuses, so we never even bothered going back to fight with them for a partial refund. This may sound odd, but I knew it would just set me into a tailspin of emotions that I'd have trouble letting go of. So... I let them off the hook by not filing a complaint - they're not BBB rated. In hindsight, in case it was me/my mistake, I even re-checked our contract to see if we erred in our expectations or weren't specific enough. Nope, it was very clear, they just dropped the ball! Lastly, I can speak to one other event we've witnessed their flowers at. They did flowers this past week at a school's graduation event. They were not good, and when asked who the florist was, surprise, it was Artistry Florals in Cornelius! Was it crazy-awful? No, but they were not fresh, healthy or perky in any way. Maybe they were cheap? I don't know, but they furthered my certainty that they're a bad bad idea for events. Maybe they do fine arrangements in a vase, but guess what? I can do that too - give me $20 for grocery store flowers and give me a vase, taa-da! read more

I have received many floral deliveries in my lifetime but my birthday delivery last Thursday far surpassed any previous received arrangements. As I opened my front door the fragrance pleasantly wafted up to greet me. I picked it up surprised by its weight and height and the amazing variety of spring/summer flowers of an array of colors and shapes. I walked around making pictures from all angles. Six days later, I have pulled out a few flowers which have met their demise and left the premises, but lovely new pink and white lilies have opened to take their space. First I will say that the bouquet was beautiful! The flowers were delivered on a Saturday, but by Tuesday evening they were starting to wilt and some of the leaves were falling off. By Wednesday morning, several more flowers were hanging over or losing color in the blooms. I called to explain the situation, and to see if a replacement bouquet could be sent. I offered to send a picture of the flowers. I was told by the manager, that since it was four days later there was nothing they could do. I told her that I can usually keep fresh flowers for a least a week, and for the money my husband spent on the flowers I certainly expected more than 3 or 4 days! I asked to speak to the owner and was told that I would get the same response. There was never any attempt to make sure I was a satisfied customer. No percent off of a future order, nothing! The manager's attitude was totally lacking in sympathy or compassion. They had their money, and apparently that's all that mattered. Needless to say I'll make sure my husband never orders from Artistry Florals again! read more

My son ordered/paid for extra large arrangement with 2 dozen roses and 1 dozen carnations for my birthday. NOT WHAT I RECEIVED!. I was given a very small bouquet NO ROSES, no carnations, no typical 'florist' flowers at all. It had 'queen ann's lace' and 2 dalias plus a few fill flowers. 3 of which were already brown upon delivery. My son ordered this from out of state and I truly believe that the florist intentionally did this, thinking a receipate wouldn't know better. My flowers look like a $5.00 Walmart bouquet. read more
