Then that week, they were able to make the repairs. Owning a manufacturing firm, we are aware of proper welding equipment and skill set, and Trico Docks had the right equipment and experience to get the job done. His "sales pitch" to avoid giving an estimate before starting work was a big failure on my part. Rickey comes in acting like a good guy and quickly running through numbers but not giving a written estimate. He states that it depends on how much of his wonderful product will need to be used. With that being said he did a section of my driveway for his high end verbal guestimate. It was ridiculous to have argue with a guy (good guy Tom disappeared) over his poor choice to not give me a written estimate and paint a picture of a more reasonable cost and for me to have sticker shock at the new price he quoted for just the section. I am disappointed with myself for not requiring a written estimate but I never thought that he would maneuver the price for the whole driveway to be 2-2.5 times more than his buddy-to-buddy verbal estimate. I cannot recommend Mr. Rickey's Asphalt (his team was very nice) but I would recommend being careful of any professional that can't give a written estimate and then stand by it. Owner said he wanted progress payment, when there progress has went backwards,. I had to call another contractor to add floats, they had to pull up boards and reinstall. Didn't deliver countertop, Roll Up door ETC, The owner told me to trust him because he says he wouldn't slow-zark us, or Ozark us. Well- he did both!

There was never any product so don't know how there are restocking fees, as of 5/16 there still is no refund and she has now quit responding all together. There is more to this story including police if you have?'s we are happy to fill you in. Do not trust this business- also beware her husband also is running another tile and flooring store nearby.

My husband & I met with a Rep from Roof Lux in Jan 2021, signed the contact and paid our half-down deposit on Feb 6th...bottom line, we are still waiting on our siding... upon signing we were told we would have siding in about 4 weeks, about 4 weeks later we were then given a start date of April 9th, we received a call right around the projected April start date and informed that our siding hadn't been ordered yet...and that it wouldn't be here until mid-June. We spoke with our Rep about other options, we spoke with the owners about other options and were assured (it was the beginning of May at this point) that he could get it done & that the siding would be here in 3-4 weeks. We finally received a call that siding was being delivered last Friday (June 4th.) We then received a call that they would plan to start on Wednesday (June 9th) with a subsequent call moving that start date to Thursday (June 10th)...today...and unfortunately we haven't seen or heard from anyone. We have been working with Roof Lux since February, our check was deposited in February...it's mid-June and we still have no siding. Times are busy, the construction industry is swamped, parts are hard to get...we get all of that, however this is extreme and due to poor business practices, not lack of product at this point.

Mark quoted us a very fair price to do the job and He and another young man showed up exactly on the date and time that we had agreed on. The timeliness and quality of the work was outstanding. These guys were great to work with and the timeliness and quality of their work is outstanding. They cleaned up everything and our place looks great! We definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future as they do many types of home repairs and renovations.
